  Yes it will work to buy a copy upgrade of Windows 8.   This is a custom installation rather than an upgrade in place once you switch between 32-bit and 64-bit.  However you can still save money by buying the upgrade license.

  More important is that all the drivers you need will be available.  Your computer manufacturer will not write drivers for Windows 8 because the computer has been out of production far too long.

  Windows 8 is a significant departure from previous versions and I suggest that you upgrade to Windows 7 If you are tired of Vista or wait until you buy a new computer before Windows 8.  You read the discussions on the forums of Windows 8 CP.  At this point, there are many critics of Windows 8 due to the removal of the Start button and Start Menu.  Many people dislike having to rely on style Metro Screen start for many things.  It is becoming a major concern.

  Note:  Microsoft has not announced that there will be copies upgrade for Windows 8.  Microsoft has already stopped providing copies of upgrade of Office is not yet clear what will be available for 8.

  (1) simplified - essentially data plots in graphical format, - without control shadows, white background, solid black grid lines. Try to copy it to the Clipboard, paste into paint, you'll see.

  (2) export Image - simplified (only for graphics). Get the picture - picture of the graph (any control)

  (3) generally labview does not know the vector graphic images, and maybe that this exception, since it is simplified to the rowset.

  My main concerns are to play Football Manager at a fast speed with say 8 leagues running, it would be OK on this ultrabook?

  The i7-3537U is very fast, more than enough. I usually do virtualization on the 13 of Yoga, and it was just as fast as laptops to game my friends.

  It should be fast enough for Football Manager. I'd be surprised if she couldn't run it.

  The Yoga of 13 still has a free mSATA slot. You can always put an SSD rained in there. But it can be a little difficult to do. There is also a 256Go model available in case you haven't noticed!

  Yes, you can use an optical drive bay adapter to fit a second hard drive. You see this as purely for storage because: 1. not bootable. and 2. turns at SATA I have 150 Mbps speed only. Still fast enough to playback video, but much slower than SATA-III 600 Mbps.

  The best way to transfer settings is with Windows Easy Transfer. Make the 'old computer' Easy compressed Transfer of the old installation file, save on an external and then use the "new computer" transfer tool on the new configuration. Adjustment of the installation of the new on the SSD using the same Userid as the original installation made work better. It will transfer more stuff as Favorites, recorded the wireless identification information and other things which otherwise is very much work to reproduce. You can also use Easy Transfer to move docs, pictures, etc. on or just configured to save and transfer settings.

• Fusion experience 6 so far and a few questions

  I have migrated my PC during an MBA and up to the present this is an excellent solution.  A few comments and questions to share.

  I had to make 3 installs the operating system, first one resulted from Msft have me download 32 ISO Win7 so I had to delete and redownload the 64-bit version.  I installed that one and did a few hours of updates.  However, when I migrated my PC top copy the OS also and so he created another guest OS instead of add only the programs and files for the installation.  It was something I tried getting info on beforehand and just couldn't.  So for memory migration of PC will bring on the operating system.

  This has caused a few minor validation issues I called MS to correct what they did pretty quickly.  So now I'm running Win7 and seeing all my programs and files as before.  Printers and devices all seem to be connected and run as expected.  This was surprisingly easy given the technical complexity of this conversion around.  BTW, I did a migration wireless and 78 GB took about 10 hours-12 hours.  Given that the MBA has no ethernet port and I didn't buy an adapter, it was the way I went. d

  I have a second monitor I'm waiting for the adapter come Monoprice to see that it will work as expected.  I'm running ML right now and I'll wait for an exit or two before moving on to the Mavericks.

  Plugged into a USB hub, which took a Neat scanner, Dymo stamp and attached scale and VM asked what OS should I associate with.  Cool, windows for now, but may switch to Mac later.

  So, there are a few things I want to throw it over the fence and see what comes back to us;

  1. in the my computer window, it shows a floppy A: drive and a DVD drive.  Finally, I have checked THAT MBA do not come with either.  Why these appear effectively and can get rid of them?

  2. I have move to the trash the two installs earlier which was more necessary, but if I right click aka two finger, press the VM dock icon, the window shows all three installs nothing happens when you click two ghosts.  Why do these always show upwards and can they be removed?

  3. in the view of the unit all I get is a window showing my virtual library, clicky clicky but nothing happens.  I think he should do more than that.  I was under the imoression that he would create a window that I could interact with other mac programs, for example to drag and drop.

  All in all, a happy camper and feel the cost of upgrades is a necessary cost to run windows on a mac.  Can not imagine a surviving company issuing unlimited free updates for a fee of $50 collected years ago.

  2. in the Virtual Machine library it only shows one I want.  I delete within the virtual machine.  The only place where they show always is when I right click on the VM incontinence in the dock, and they are at the top of this window.  Be nice to get rid of them, but they seem to not want to answer.

  For the first paragraph, try textFlow.getFirstLeaf () .getParagraph (). Then call getNextParagraph() to get those successive. There is no equivalent for DivElements so you need to browse the hierarchy of streams (recursive calls to FlowGroupElement.getChildAt) and use the 'is' operator to check if a child is a DivElement.

  Borders for feed items are not supported natively by TLF. You will need to draw on the container after you determine the positions of the lines corresponding to the compound. BTW, have you looked at the components Flex Gumbo text such as TextArea which are built on top of TLF and are skinnable, so you can easily specify styles such as borders?

  As you can see on the underside of the laptop doesn t supports a second HDD because there is no second Bay HARD drive on the underside.
  The map you posted is unofficial so no one can say whether it compatible s part or not. For laptops Satellite AFAIK there is no CD/DVD Bay adapter, but you can ask a provider of service authorized for more details.

  The maximum RAM capacity depends on your phone model correct. L500D was delivered with different hardware, so you must post your exact model laptop number.

• How can I download and install the latest version of Safari without having to install the current operating system?

  I just bought a MBP of 2013 (MacBookPro) renovated with OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) and want to update my Safari (version 7.0.5) the latest version of Safari.   You cannot run the last Safari on Mac OS 10.9.

  It requires the latest Mac OS (10.11)

  You can create a new partition and install the latest OS above and use it.

  Then the Mavericks partition boot when you want to use Adobe Creative Suite.
