  Hi people! OK so I got some problems with my windows 7 dell vostro laptop 1540. I bought a PC game of Wild Tangent, but you have to install their app games before you can download & play the game.

  So I tried to install the soft games and it worked very well, quickly too, but once the window has appeared, it was just empty - completely... nothing on it whatsoever, no error code, nothing. So I've been on wild tangent support and they told me to go to the site intel and run a driver intel update utility, so I did and it came with 4 things (but he not do it automatically, it said that I needed to perform these tasks manually) this is what they have listed:
  • Graphics driver (that's all it says)
  • Intel Chipset software installation utility chipset INF
  • Audio driver for motherboard Intel
  • Wireless (wifi) - dell 1701 802.11b/g/n wireless network card (I tried to install this, but I would not let me)
  • Wired networking - RealTek PCIe GBE family controller

  I have not the first clue how to get all these because I think that some of them were arrested today (my laptop did not have these updates since January 2011) so I tried to research on how to deal with this problem, but unless I do not use the term appropriate for that, there's nothing I can find what looks like this question.
  I would really appreciate comments of a person I am pulling my hair out :(

  Computer laptop Dell Vostro 1540 is not currently available and Dell seems to have ceased to provide the necessary drivers for the PC online.

• Update App errors with Application Loader

  I have an application that I transferred to the itunes Connect and I try now get updated with a new version that I created in Indesign.

  The version of the App has been 1.1 and the next version I want version 2.0

  Adobe hit my app to version 2.0 for me so it should not error when I try to udate but I always get errors when downloading the .zip to the application loader file. See screenshot...

  

  Is there something I should have done once hit the adobe version?

  I'm kinda a loss about what to do next. Any Suggestions?

  Ignore the warning for now. Apple is not reject apps because of this incompatibility. Not yet, anyway. The App Builder team is aware of this problem.

  I tried to download a trial of Adobe CC, but for some reason any, whenever I try to run the downloaded .exe file, it just never came up. I don't get the wheel of continuous loading, I get a different problem. It will not open same. I tried several ways to solve this problem, I even tried the cleaning tool and it didn't work. Please help me out here.

  I deleted a file that includes aspects inside and now the .exe file runs correctly. Thanks for the help!

  Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

  If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

  You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

  Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

• Can not open 5 D MkIII RAW with ACR, 8.2, please help LR5.2

  Apologies in advance, I'm sure you have a lot of these issues every day. I tried, and so far found no direct answer to this problem... in part I think because, I have the required software and updates if this isn't lack of compatibility its probably me not understand LR well enough to be able to change the pre-sets.

  Basically I have a catalogue LR with approximately 20,000 images, taken with different devices over the last 7 or 8 years, including the Canon and Nikon digital SLR and a Panasonic CSC. The camera more recent that I use is the Canon 5 d mk3. All other images are taken with older versions of the 5 d or other older than the mk3 brands.

  I use LR 5.2

  I think I'm on ACR8.2, that's what says LR - see screenshot below. My version of Photoshop CS5 Extended v12, however I use cab version 6.0. So I'm a bit confused by there! Any ideas why LR and PS CS5 would think there are different versions of the installed cab? I tried an update to Adobe, but without success so far, so I guess I'm stuck with what I have, unless I've upgraded to a newer version of the PS or LR, which I'm reluctant to do because the information from Adobe itself seem to suggest I use the required minimum versions of apps for my camera model :

  There is a table on the Adobe website that lists all brands of camera and the minimum software requirements. It is said for EOS 5 D Mk3, I should need LR 4.1 minimum and ACR minimum 6.7, 7.1. (Cameras supported by Adobe Camera Raw)

  Back to Lightroom... when I right click on an image RAW in LR, I have the option to:

  Change in > Adobe Photoshop CS5

  Change in > other applications

  Change in >... .long list applications that seem to be my CS5 Plugins for example Silver Efex pro

  There is no option to edit in ACR. There is no option for just 'open' image (only for the image). If I choose the option change in CS5 and then the RAW file is automatically converted to a TIFF file and opens directly in PS, bypassing ACR entirely stage. (Frustrating, too, saves the TIF file in the same location as the original RAW file which is annoying, because I tend to keep my RAW/original image files in a separate library that published my files). I can change that to a certain extent, so that it opens, for example a PSD file. But really, I want to be able to open a RAW directly from LR file, to open first in ACR so that I can make a few minor and subsequent adjustments open PS for final assembly. Then once I'm done I save, usually as a PSD file, in a separate catalogue.

  Please can someone help me understand why I am not able to achieve this workflow because I seem to have good updates and versions to all three bits of software for the RAW files of my 5Dmk3?

  Any ideas why LR and PS CS5 would think there are different versions of the installed cab?

  Because this is how it works. Lightroom, ACR has built in software code, PS CS5 does not work, and you install a later version of ACR having PS CS5 to make use of the latest version of ACR. So if you install CS5 ACR 6.7, I believe that your problems will be solved.

  I am trying to run a simple RMI example that uses the dynamic class loading but I've hit a problem I can not move - can anyone help?
  
  The problem I have, is that when I run my client program, I get the exception listed at the bottom of my post.

  You don't have a security manager in the server or in a windows .policy file either, unless the server will download code itself, which is not a normal scenario.

  But you need to run your client with - Djava.security.manager or anything like that, or install a security manager in the client code. The customer shall also be a .policy windows file that allows all that must be allowed.

  Looks like you have is connected wrong charger (you have an older Mac in the House?) or the charger has been damaged. Perhaps the magnetic head is damaged.

  You have another mac or a friend with a mac that has the same charger if you can try that?

  You can certainly buy replacement chargers, but I recommend that ensure you it is the charger that is the first problem to avoid spending money. If this is a problem with the port on the Mac, then a replacement charger will not help.

  If you don't have a 2nd charger to test, you can take your Mac at the Apple Store or your local electronics store that sells Macs and ask to try the plug one of their display models.

  HI so I recently did a restore from my old iPhone to a new 5s 5s.

  on this operation, I had to install all my apps again as usual, I did this on the wifi and then had to leave my place and obviously they can not download correctly. Once all applications have been downloaded perfectly well, today my application was grey and when I typed on it, it says waiting?

  on further inspection I went to my app store and tried the app said see if I could redownload the app and he just said 'open' and when I click on open it did nothing.

  I also tried to remove the application and I can not.

  Please advise on what to do as this application contains important information and I need it urgent.

  I want the "image.png" to act as a 'real' background, however, when I run the above code, the image.png appears in the form of the background, but when I scroll down, the background scrolls as well, and I see a white space.  I want to have "image.png" would you like the background permanently and add another manager who would be scrolling if scrolling is required.

  What I'm doing wrong here?  Why I can't see the vertical scroll bar and why the background is not scrollable?

  Make sure that you set the FullScreen.DEFAULT_MENU property - this will give you the default system menu items.

My company uses Exchange 2003 and Blackberry Enterprise Server, which I can only guess is 4.0 or 4.1. I am

  As I said, I use the BB for work and like having my available historical email because I often need to find old emails when not in the office. I saved the 8800 using the SW Desktop Manager v4.6. I also did a switching device using the DM software, while both devices were connected to my laptop via USB. He successfully restored data on the "BOLD". However on the "BOLD" I can't send or receive e-mails with my work email. I can make calls, send text, browse the web, send email from my Yahoo account which is also configured with the BB.

  I also connected to Blackberry Internet service page and updated my device on the wireless network and updated the maintenance book. This helped my account Yahoo work on the BB. However, I am still without corporate e-mail.

  My question is do I have my BES administrator to make a change on the BES? He needs to make an enterprise activation? If Yes is there a way to make the EA and always keep my historical data via Desktop Manager backup & restore process?

  If the BES administrator needs to do an environmental assessment can anyone provide detailed instructions so that I can help him or tell him in the right direction? He believes he needs to delete my account and create a new one. I was told it may need only to update or change the PIN associated with my profile.

  You connect the BlackBerry to your work PC when you have used the device switch Wizard? If so you are invited to implement using PIN code (in bold) of the new device, and then generate a new encryption key? If yes then which should have completed the activation process to activate the "BOLD".

  If this does not happen your IT Department can issue you a new password to activate. After they do that you just have to go into Options | Advanced options | Enterprise activation and enter your corporate email address and the password, they give you, click your menu button, then choose activate. This will activate the "BOLD" to receive your business data.

• With Muse browser problem - please Help

  I will probably not implement the Muse as I am supposed to so I hope someone can help me.

  But the bottom line is I'm trying to design one of these websites full screen and will have questions.  Chrome has a continuous horizontal scroll bar even when the browser is maximized and IE acts very strange when the browser size is changed. Also in Chrome when the size changes, the textured blue BG shrinks instead of stay fized as I want it.

  Looks like there are 3 things that you're struggling with here, so I hope I can answer all the questions you see.

  Extent of th scrollbar in Chrome, this is actually a known issue with Chrome we have in. The short of it is that this issue is something that we used to have, but Chrome has solved the problem until we were able to identify the root cause. He's back now, so have identified us the problem and we'll look at how best to fix it.

  The second question is "strange behaviour" with IE in resizing, which, if I had to guess is a sort of flicker occurring when you resize, right? The flickering that you see is actually a side effect of the way in which we make 100% width page elements. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience and problems of this kind, but unfortunately, this has been little a villain for us. We have a solution, but it causes problems in some older browsers, so we have not been able to implement. We will continue to watch it up to what we are facing something, but unfortunately at the moment there are not much of what we can do to solve the problem. Sorry for the inconveinece here.

  Background resizing in Chrome is actually intend. In your fill for the rectangle options, it seems that you have the option to "Scale to fill" selected. This means that the image will be resized dynamically to fill the rectangle. When you resize your browser, you actually change the width of your rectangle of width 100%, causing the image to resize in the framework. It is originally the effect you see. If there is a different effect you are looking for, we can try and help you get there.

  I am a beginner in Flash and I need help with action script. I'm building a website on a SWF file and I can't navigate. I will guive you a simple example just to expose the problem.
  
  Let's say I have a SWF with two buttons. (Here is a picture to illustrate the situation)
  Now, if I press button1, I put the action: "liberation gotoAndPlay (2)" to play "anim1" until the framework 6. Then on setting 6, I want him to jump to frame 10 and play "anim2" then stop.
  
  And if I press button2, I want to take this path: "liberation gotoAndPlay (2)" to play "anim1" again until the framework 6. But now, instead of jumping to the frame 10 as does the button1, I want him to jump to frame 20 and playing "anim3" and then stops.
  
  I hope that my explanations are clear enough. Basically I want the two buttons to play anim1 but at the end of anim1, each take a different path. Hope someone can help me on this one.
