  It is a common problem with updates of .NET. Here are the steps I follow

  First try this...

  Download and run the Microsoft .NET Framework repair tool , then visit Windows Update and let it try to reinstall updates. Once it's done, scan again with Windows Update to ensure that they properly installed.

  If the above does not make it...

  Open Add or remove programs, click on .NET 3.5 and choose repair. I got around to test if this fix actually .NET 2.0 and 3.0 of the .NET also, but it's worth it. I do not know if it can also cancel updates already installed .NET. If so, they will reinstall when you perform a Windows update that is the next step after the repair.

  If the repair does not fix it, will add and remove programs and uninstall the .NET Framework 3.5, 2.0, then 3.0.
  Visit Windows Update, select Custom scan and under software, optional install this...

  

  It must be installed by itself. Windows Update will not let you do otherwise.

  We are developing an application for Android. And we must be asure that the application starts again after the reboot of the tablet. But Lenovo TB2-X30L is not drawn from this event, so that the application does not start.

  The Tablet is running Android, which is default 5.1.1.

  We are currently looking for a custom rom, but we can only find to TB2-X70L. Anyone has a solution to this problem, or could Lenovo send a fix for this problem? Maybe the ability to downgrade Android for 4.4 KitKat?

  I am hving problems with the installation of Windows XP Professional. I was not able to get any help yet in this forum to reformat my HARD drive in order to reinstall the operating system. What I want to know with this issue, this is what will happen to my PC after the end of the 30 day trial period and I hv not "active"? I guess I'll hv access to my bios but not the operating system. Will be my boot mgr restored b (it has "disappeared" from the bios when I tried to do the installation of the OS)? The operating system will still try to prevent me from doing a reformatting the drive HARD in preventing me from creating diskettes; I need to do a reformat with Seagate Diskwizard or via a command 'format' floppy worldwide BACK?  Also concerning 'activation '; Pc shud be built entirely (with all its components installed) before activation or can some components b added later... I put, t want to add my Creative Labs audio card and printer until after everthing else has updated drivers, etc.. ???  I read several of the MS solutions on "activating" HT, but none seem to answer these questions.   Thanks for posting. If you're using a genuine Windows, you can activate at any time when activation is up. If it cannot activate online, use the telephone option. The reprocutions of activation would not be some windows features will be locked down. You will always be able to boot, reinstall, backup files and other functions.

  I tried to download a new version of the XI free Adobe Reader, assuming that the expiry of the trial removed somehow my previous copy, but I was warned that I still have the XI player installed...?  So, if it is still installed on my computer, why can't I read PDF, like I did before my trial creative cloud...?

  Open Adobe Reader | Change | Preferences | General: click on select Default Handler of PDF and set it to Adobe Reader.

  You must also uninstall the trial of creative cloud of your system.

  Well I've just updated my Tablet twice and went to use the camera, but when I click the icon, it says application is not installed. The Lenovo app store is empty as if it no longer exists. Where can I get this fixed app? Thank you.

  You up-to-date with Health Canada (android v3) to ICS (android v4)?

  If so, ICS has a different camera app, so there is no longer the old icon (link).

  On the home screen, tap the icon in the upper right that looks like 6 small boxes. Then in this app 'window' find the camera app press and hold the button until the machine vibrates and now you should be able to drag it to the home screen. Tap on the icon and it should (at least in theory) of the device.

  If this does not work, it could be that the app is corrupt. Let me know and I'll upload a backup to install yourself.
