  • After this period, if it has not already restarted automatically, remove it from the charger and:
    • Try restarting it (by pressing the side button until you see the Apple logo).
    • If necessary, then try force it restarts again.
  • After restarting your watch:
    • To prepare for re-sync with your iPhone:
      • On your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > reset > erase content and settings.
    • Then re-pair via the standard process (choose restore backup if offered the option during installation):

    Hello

When you reload your watch, check that:

    • All the plastic film was removed from both ends and both sides of the cable support (consult closely on the head of the charger).

    • On the back of your watch and the head of the charge cable are clean and dry (clean with an abrasive, lint cloth).
    • The head of the load is properly aligned with the back of the watch, with the concave side / curve touch fully:
      • Some docks of watch, brackets, cases or protectors might hinder it.
    • You use a real Apple magnetic Charging Cable or a certified Apple module magnetic charge.
    • If you reload your watch by plugging into a power outlet:
      • Check that the magnetic charge cable Apple USB connector is fully engaged in the USB power adapter.
      • Try to use different maps of the following:
        • The real Apple USB Power Adapter that came with the watch, or;
        • A true 5W Apple (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) USB power adapter, or;
        • A third-party certified 5W (MFi) Apple USB power adapter.
      • Try to charge via a USB port (see following).
    • If loading via a USB port on a computer, make sure that you use a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, the computer remains turned on and awake, and the cable is plugged directly into the computer (not on, for example, an external keyboard).
    • If your battery is very low, you may need to wait a few minutes for the green lightning appear (confirming that the charge has started).

Once the load has started, you can tap on the screen at any time to check the progress (leave a few minutes at the beginning, where the watch is in charge of a very low battery level). A green lightning bolt symbol indicates that your watch is being loaded. It is normal the screen back to sleep while continuous load.

  • Apple Watch will not unlock MacBook

I have a Macbook 2016 on MacOS, iPhone 6 more current iOS10 of execution, first-generation Apple Watch running Watch OS3 and two steps on authentication.  As shown in the screenshot below, I was able to check the possibility of allowing my Apple Watch unlock my Mac.  He looked the watch and then checked.  I did this several times, however, it will not unlock the Mac.  New features to copy and paste between devices, etc seem to work well, but I can't get the unlocking function to work.

    Hello wow321,

Thanks for asking for help with unlocking you Macbook with your Apple Watch here in Apple Support communities. We commend you for updates latest and your devices. Also, please check the things you already checked. I will do my best help to offer things to get this working as expected.

I have personally reviewed article for help to unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch which is here: automatically unlock your Mac with your Apple Watch. The first thing we want to do is to check that everything is correctly configured through this step by step article once more.

A confusing area for some people is the type of security on their Apple ID. The State of necessity who need a Apple ID to use instead of the two-step verification two factor authentication. Please check the type of security on your Apple ID using this help article that deals with two factor authentication: authentication two factor for Apple IDand this second article of help dealing with two-step verification: frequently asked questions about two steps checking of Apple ID.

If any snippet and you still have questions, I recommend you make a backup of all your data on your iPhone to make sure that everything is safe. You can perform a backup to iCloud or iTunes. Use this article to help with this: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Then, try to turn the iPhone, with the Apple Watch is paired both devices Mac, power off and on. Sometimes, that's all that is needed for connections reset and everything working properly again.

If you're still having problems, please cancel the twinning of your Apple Watch from your iPhone by following the steps described here: pairing your Apple Watch and iPhone. Reset the network settings on your iPhone under settings > general > reset > reset network settings. This will remove not your personal information (contacts, photos, calendar of events, etc.), but it will remove networks WiFi recorded and passwords, as well as all the APN or previously used VPN settings and Bluetooth devices connected. After the reset of the iPhone, pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone again and check if the Apple Watch can then unlock your Mac.

Thanks again for asking for help with this here in Apple Support communities. Have a great rest of your day.

    Hi Allan

It can help to disable the twinning and re - pair your watch.

  • Apple Watch stay connected to the iPhone 7

I unpaired my Apple Watch from my old iPhone reset 6, combined with my new iPhone 7. Since then, he continues to lose its connection, even if both devices are never spaced over 3 feet. It's killing the battery on the Apple Watch in the short term.

What is happening to others? Any suggestions on how to keep connected?

  • Call button answer set to Apple Watch to take call on iPhone, not the watch?

It's super easy to do with my rock:

1 button response call on rollers

2 put the iPhone to my ear and start talking

BOOM, done. I just bought a Apple Watch 1, which is not yet there. So far its looking like what I read to do the same thing, it is like this:

    1. turn the Crown to make reply on iPhone button available.

    2. press the button revealed

    3. open my wallet phone box

4 wide at the bottom left of the screen to take call

    5. close phone box

6 put the phone to the ear and start talking

Please tell me that the green button can be set to answer the call on the phone, not my watch. Im not Micheal knight, I want to use my phone! It should be configurable to swap the green button to answer the phone and the button revealed to answer on the watch.

    Hello

No, it is not possible currently to answer calls in the way you prefer.

The process you described (steps 1 to 6) accurately describes how to answer a call on your iPhone via your watch. (If your iPhone is unlocked after tapping the answer button of the iPhone on your watch, you would rather just type the green bar at the top of the screen on your iPhone).

  • Apple Watch will not pair manually or automatically

Watch became disconnected from the phone.  Followed all the instructions to disable the twinning / re-pair.  Automatic pairing fails repeatedly.  Manual matching fails as well - the watch never displays a 6-digit code.  Has anyone seen this before / resolved for it?  Thank you.

    Hello

For later use, it is not necessary to clear the pairing and re-pair Apple Watch when it is disconnected. If your watch becomes disconnected via Bluetooth and unable to connect to a Wi - Fi network, known at the time, it will display the icon disconnected on the dial of the Watch:

Bluetooth disconnects occur every time that the pair iPhone is not available (as in the iOS updates or when your iPhone is out of scope). The watch and the iPhone must reconnect automatically a short while after having reconciled being brought back.

If they do not automatically reconnect instead of disconnecting your watch, rather trying to keep your iPhone and Apple Watch close to each other and follow these steps until they reconnect:

    • Check that Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are activated on your iPhone:
      • It can help to turn Bluetooth on or off and turn it back on your iPhone (settings > Bluetooth).
    • Check that airplane Mode is not enabled on your watch:
      • When you display the time on your watch, drag upward on the dial of the watch > drag left / right to the glance of parameters.
        • If the glance of parameters says already connected and the symbol in the upper right corner is a green phone, your watch is already connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth.
      • If your watch is not connected and the airplane Mode is on, press the button to turn it off.
      • Otherwise, it can help to activate / turn off the airplane Mode again.
    • Restart both devices, both turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first.

For optimal performance of your watch, keep both Bluetooth and Wi - Fi enabled at all times on your iPhone.

  • Apple Watch will record the fibrillation little finger?

Will be Apple Watch monitor and record the heart rate so that an incident of fibrillation little finger would be visible after the fact by a doctor?

While the screen of the watch displays your heart rate, it does not record as an instrument of EKG, as the watch is not a certified medical device. It will show your rates and if you feel that you have an incident, you can get it to save your rate once again, otherwise, it doesn't save specific intervals on a regular basis. It is not defined to be able to recognize a change in the rate, and then save.

You can only pair two Bluetooth to attach only apple devices.

  • My Apple Watch guard disconnect from my iPhone

My new Apple Watch (42mm Sport, watch OS 2.0.1), since the first day, was disconnected from my iPhone (6, iOS 9.2).

Most of the time in the day, it is not connected (with the small red disconnect icon) or it does not show my phone watch notifications. Sometimes even calls are not made to the phone and notifications on the steps on the orientations are not displayed on the watch, even if they are displayed on my iPhone.

Also, my watch guard pass in airplane mode.

I re-set the watch to the factory settings and paired with the iPhone twice, without success. My iPhone is still on my pocket with me at any time at the office and at home, so noBluetooth is still on my phone, even though I sometimes turn off WiFi so it does not connect to my office or the trolley.
