• Safari is quit unexpectedly or the Application is not responding

  Since getting a new hard drive installed in my Mac in April through the Apple repair program, I had problems with Safari.  Safari's often freezing, and the application is not responding all the time.  I have to force quit and sometimes it does not work even in the judgment of Safari.  Often, I have to use the power switch on the back to restart my computer because of safari gel.

  I tried the recommendations of apples for Safari gel and spent time with telephone support, cleaning of my library without result files.  I deleted the pop-ups, cleaned the library files, deleted my hard drive duplicate files and cleaning junk files while I have 2.4 to 3 TB is free.

  Other ideas, it could be the cause?

  When the freeze on Safari, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

  These must be run as administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

  Run the Console application in one of the following ways:

  Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.

  Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.

  Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.

  The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

  Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

• Process is completed: Application is not responding...?

  I use Threads to get carry out some operations of networks and timer to update the content of pages in my Blackberry application. It works very well. But when I go to turn off the blackberry device without closing the application. It causes the error "process is completed: Application is not responding do not ' when I swicth back after some time.

  Why is this happening?

  I think that the function of the Thread is already over before turning off the device.

  This will be only the timer calling repeatedly.

  How can I stop this error... ?

• How can I update the UI without encountering a ' Application is not responding do not; completed process '?

  I'm trying to populate a table on the screen, and when the user clicks a Labelfield (20 lines are populated by click).

  When the user clicks the labelfield, following takes place:

  (1) a data segment is read from the SQLite database in a background thread.

  (2) data are then filled in the existing table on the screen (by adding more fields to the Table Layout Manager) in the invokeLater() method.

  I am currently facing a problem of ' Application is not responding do not; process is completed ' when I continue to load more items to say about 3 to 4 times (i.e. After about 60 to 80 lines are met).

  I fear that this could be caused by the user interface thread get resisted for a long time, while the population takes place. Is there another way to update the user interface, so that the application runs smoothly?

  I'd appreciate any help that I had with this problem for some time.

  You must use another thread to query the database and then creating and filling in the fields. After the creation of fields use the Manager.addAll () method to add an array of fields (in invokeLater() body of course).

  Whenever logged on windows 7, I get the following message:

  Do you want to put an end to this process"with the choice of the end of the process and cancel.
  When I type complete the process the screen shows my wallpaper and not icons or the bar of windows at all. When I hit Cancel, the message of disappears for around one minute and shows up again.

• exporting H.264 "application is not responding do not.

  Tried to export my project complete as a 720 p h.264, and whenever I do ultimately goes pinwheel with "application is not responding do not.  I was able to export the project in three distinct elements to this setting, no problem, but for some reason when I'm doing plenty of 107 minutes of the project - it is not complete the task.  Your help is appreciated.

  Found this ad on your site and it solved the problem for me.  It's maybe ordinary... ?  And that's why you (Mercury Playback Engine GPU) on your list to read before posting questions. ?   Hope this helps someone else as well.

  I found a solution to export a doc of long hours, who worked with first CC.

  File > project settings > General > Renderer

  The rendering engine is the default as: Mercury Playback Engine (Open CL) GPU acceleration

  Change this: Mercury Playback Engine software only

  After weeks of 80% in failure exports changing this setting worked and it spits out my MPEG2 file in no time.

• Some applications does not respond after sleep (El Capitan)

  Product: 13 '' Macbook Pro retina (12.1) (base model sheet)

  El Capitan Version: 10.11.6

  The problem:

  When I connect after that my Macbook went down, I often have problems with some of the stock apps. In particular, I had this problem with the Mail Messages, reminders and calendar. This seems to be a problem when they are open before putting the macbook to sleep. This same problem happened with non-apple-stock applications.

  Once logged in, if I click on the application icon, the application window will come into focus. After that, I'm unable to use the application (as if frozen) and I often just see the spinning Rainbow mouse icon.

  Can I force quit the app and then open it again, but now the application does not load.

  To solve the problem, I can restart the macbook and all is well.

  Some others probably associated with funny things I saw (only attracted to this once... but did not look at one time or another):

  I open the calendar application after the macbook was sleeping and my full general calendar was empty (which would be nice if it were true!). In any case, I checked the 'accounts' and also found that there was no accounts! (I have 3 goes). So I wonder if there is a problem with the accounts after sleep since these apps I've had problems with all iCloud account and mail also uses some other accounts.

  Big Question: Is there something I can do to make that happen?

  Start Safe Mode removes the system caches that can help...

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

  To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  Then try to Message, Mail, etc.

  If you still have problems, check the startup disk.

  Launch the disk utility located in/Applications/Utilities

  Then select the disk to boot on the left and then select the first aid tab and then click run.

• Icons of applications do not respond!

  Since the release of El Capitan 10.11.5, some of my applications (specifically requests that launches other applications) are block when I left them, and they remain hovering on my dock. And no, ctrl + click > forcequit does nothing, and it does not even appear on the activity monitor. The strange thing is the applications themselves leave, leaving behind a shell of an icon sitting there in my dock. I can't reboot my computer because the thinking mac these icons are requests pending to stop smoking because they are forever does not and cannot continue to close. The only way to erase my docks of these stuck icons is to force a shut down that I'd avoid everytime I want to play games.

  Four requests (LolClient, League of Legends, Borderlands 2, Information System) to the right are all "shells" and those who still does not and can not be closed.

  • LolClient and League of Legends have been opened automatically through the right LeagueofLegends of the application of the steam app.

  I can't open my application textedit on my iMac and more worrisome still I can't access the app store. I tried a landing forced the relevant plists in my home folder / prefs but alarmingly no textedit those seems to be there, and only the com.apple.appstore seems to exist (storeagent, one is missing)

  Any advice here would be great - I tried resetting the PRAM and reinstalling recovery, but nothing seems to work. Search Google is not either any highlight. Help, please!

• (Word2007 and Acrobat Reader 9.3) software applications do not respond (show the codes of errors/etc) ONE of my user accounts (running Vista Home Premium 64); will work perfectly on all the other (total of 3) user accounts.

  8.3 and word2007 Acrobat (version family and student) does not not in one of my user accounts - no problem in others; downloaded Acrobat 9.3; problem persists in Acrobat; Failed to get support for Word as they know is no longer my (expired) product key. Any method to repair/restore/reinstall to only the affected user account.

  Since both applications work correctly on some other user accounts except the account of a user that can occur if this user account is damaged.
  You will need to create a new user account and then transfer the file and the settings of the user account damaged to the new user account.

• Default e-mail application is not responding

  I accidentally deleted some files which are necessary for the mail app Apple run on my MacBook. I'm currently under OS X El Capitan. For weeks, every time I open messages, the icon bounces up and down, and then it gives me this error:

• Spotify application will not close or respond to anything

  So basically, for the last two weeks, my Spotify application icon was opened in the dock while saying "Application is not responding do not. I can see it in the menu to force her to leave, that I used several times to try to force quit, no luck. I also rebooted my Macbook Pro several times with that it is always visible on the dock. I tried to view and close it in Activity Monitor and Terminal through other help topics but is not visible in these applications, i.e. it does not appear on the active process or in a Terminal (when the Commander in Chief u etc.).

  It's very annoying that I can't use spotify now on my macbook, as she says she is already open, and I can't uninstall it because it says that the application is active and used. I also tried to reinstall without uninstalling however it asks me to close the original Spotify before installing.

• Applications not responding do not or it is slow to open

  When I opened my system in the morning all my Applications do not respond or are very slow to react and I get"' Application messages that does not." If I force close and reopen so they work perfectly afterwards. No idea how to solve this problem?

  I found the 'Unsaved Quicktime Player Document' in 'Autosave 'information' in 'Libraries', so I don't know if it's of any help, but at least I know they are somehow accessible. FOR THE TIME BEING.

  The application is not responding, and I can't even try to free space or save files as Quicktime is frozen.

  I'm just afraid to force quit in fear that these files will be deleted somehow and I'll never be able to see again them.

  Use disk utility to format the external hard drive for Mac OS use and then hover over the files.

  Free up space on your internal drive by moving your larger library on the external drive folders (pictures, movies and iTunes) and remove the internal drive.

  My apps keep crashing. For example, I'm going to save a document in powerpoint and it will freeze and say that the application is not responding. I want to print a PDF on Google Chrome and the same thing happens. I updated to the latest version of the software and bought a 365 office subscription, but this did not help. I also run a disk repair and it says everything is good.

  My system is a MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, early 2015) and I use the following software 10.11.4 (15E65)
