Application manager cannot open - claims to be damaged or missing

When I try to open the Application Manager, it crashes and a contextual area said "Adobe Application Manager is needed to solve this problem. However, it is missing or corrupted".
The dialog box provides a link to download and reinstall the Application Manager.

I followed and downloaded the exe file to try to reinstall. During the initialization of the EXACT SAME configuration MESSAGE appears again, and I'm stuck.

What can I do to make the MAO is working again? I don't know why he suddanly for this - it worked fine before. It's really frustrating!

Please, try the following steps:

  • Application Manager now opens Cloud connection

I have CS6 installed (no clouds) on Windows 7 PC. I receive occasional update messages and open the application manager to access these updates. Now, I got an update message, but when I run the App Mgr it opens a connection to creative cloud. Surely, I am not suppose to get updates from the cloud, right? Can someone tell me what is happening?

    Hi JVS97,

You can download and install updates of Creative Cloud Desktop Apps as it will download and install the updates for the software perpetual too with Cloud applications.

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot connect :(

    Hi all

Maybe someone will help me support is not

I bought a new laptop running 64-bit Windows 8. Then I installed the following software to my creative cloud subscription:

_ Lightroom, up and running fine

_ Photoshop, installed in trial mode, as he could not connect, well, I thought it was a temporary bug and leave it in the trial.

I couldn't update my final test software such that he asked to connect to the internet and enter the Adobe ID.

After a long discussion with a technical support agent Adobe it me to Photoshop to uninstall and reinstall once more. 'Ideal' that I can't download now even Photoshop like Application Manager wonder Adobe ID at the beginning.

After another verry long discussion with little support technical agents the only think that they can say this is probalbly a problem of language (Polish) and gave me local contact supports the team in Poland.

I'll do it, but I'm sure that's not the source of the problem.

    For info:

I'm not on a protected network, just a router and a DSL modem, even directly connected to DSL AAM cannot find internet connection. Even on a different network in a different place.

Even with the firewall and antivirus off MAO doesn't work. There is nothing in hosts. I am borrowing the server licenses adobe as indicated by the agents.

So everything works fine only shit AAM find a way to find my internet connection.

Oh and for the final, a second computer connected to the same home network have the same creative cloud liscences running, updated and works well.

So if anyone has an idea of what I need to do to not sue Adobe for 3 days lost to seek the solution I'll be happy to read it here

    I just can't work.

    M.

Ufff it works! Technical support in Poland helped to get directions for a solution. Thank you!

    Now I explain how:

Probably a process in Windows 8 blocks Adobe Application Manager that cannot connect to the internet.

A quick solution is to create a new user account and install all software of this account, as the programs are shared you need not use all the days of the account.

It is a solution for a while as each month what MAO will try to connect and check if your license is still in place.

In the end, I have to check all the processes one by one and disable one who blocks the AAM, which will certainly take me a lot of time

But for now I have a working software... Finally...

How much money will I get Adobe for this tip for debugging? A discount will be welcome for 3 days lost here :/

  • Adobe Application Manager cannot find Acrobat XI Mac Pro on MBP

    Hello

I tried several times, and personal support from Adobe yet contacted chat, to solve this problem, but when I run Adobe Application Manager, still shows that I have not installed Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Mac.  He told me that my serial number is valid, but that it cannot find AA XI Pro on my MBP.  When I run Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for Mac on my MBP, I get a similar message.  Adobe Acrobat Pro XI is not yet in the list of applications for which I could possibly enter a serial number.  So, I wonder - Adobe has not yet clued in its own applications that he has released Acrobat Pro XI?

Seems all kinds of descendant and not professional to me.

    See you soon,.

    Hussar

Since the message that you have described, it shows that you have purchased the upgrade for Acrobat XI. You are eligible for an upgrade if you already have an earlier version of Acrobat. More details here - http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/buying-guide-upgrade-pricing.html

If you already have an earlier version of Acrobat, select this version from the drop-down list and provide the serial number of this version. For example, if you have Acrobat X and you decide to upgrade to Acrobat XI, then launch Acrobat XI you will get this message. Select Acrobat X and provide the serial number for Acrobat X so that your eligibility for discounted upgrade is checked.

If you do not have the earlier version of Acrobat, and yet you have purchased an upgrade, please contact customer support to solve this problem.

The instruction at ox74d7b89a referenced memory at 0x00000008. the memory could not be read.

Click on ok to terminate the program.

    Hi Dev,

Were there any hardware or software changes made on the PC before this problem?

Werfault.exe is used to Windows error reporting. This is a feature that allows Microsoft to track and address errors related to Windows features, the operating system and applications. It offers you the opportunity to send data about errors to Microsoft and to receive information on the solutions.

This error can be caused by bad memory or a file system corruption.

Kindly, follow these methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:
    Step 1:

    Run the Memory Diagnostic tool.

Follow the steps to run the Memory Diagnostic tool:
a.Press Windows key + W on the keyboard and type 'memory' without the quotes.
    b. click on "diagnose your computer memory problems".
    c. Select the recommended option to run the tool.

    Step 2:
Try to increase the virtual memory and check the issue.

    a. press the Windows key + X, choose Control Panel.
    b. click system and security , and then click on System.

    c. click on Advanced system settings in the right panel.

    d. click on the Advanced tab in the system properties box.

    e. click settings in the Performance section.

    f. click on the Advanced tab in the dialog box.

    g. click on the change button.

Now, in the virtual memory dialog box, you can change the settings of the file pages.

    h. Delete automatically manage it the swap file and selecting the custom size option to tell Windows to keep the pagefile to a constant size; access to the files is quickier, so Windows has more to resize the pagefile based on the amount of data temporarily stored there. Both size initial and maximum size, enter the recommended size for virtual memory as suggested by Windows (which is usually higher than 5 GB).
    i. Finally click value and then OK three times to close the boxes.

  • 11.1.2.3.700 Calc manager - cannot open business rules in IE11 but can in Firefox

Updated 11.1.2.3.500 to 700 for the IE11 support.

    I installed the following hotfixes:

    1 20675028 - SSP

    2 20612400 - workspace

    3 20643564 - hyperion Planning

    4 20929659 - architect EPM (foundation server)

    5 21292109 - Manager of calculation

    6 20768325 - statement and analytical framework

    7. 21240419 - ADF MLR

I deleted the directory tmp and cache on servers managed and the Planning0 and calcmgr0

    (Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\CalcMgr0)

    History/cache deleted my Internet Explore.

When I go to the calculation Manager and try to open any business rule of calculation Manager I receive the following informational message: "Please try to reload the component script again." When you click on 'OK' I do not see any text in the business rule. (See attachment)

I can run the business rules of the application of planning successfully and I can see them under "Shared Services" and import/export business rules.

Calculation of the Manager process runs on the server, the logs show no errors in the Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics directory

Tried to search for the message but could not find anything about this message.

    Any suggestions?

OK, I think I understand what is happening, I noticed a difference between the user interface in your screenshots and it seems that you disabled for calc Manager ADF.

You will be able to confirm is that you run a report of registry and it will have a BINDOWS_ENABLED = true for the CALC_MANAGER_PRODUCT property

If I pass the ADF to bindows so I see the same problem, is there a reason you do not run ADF mode?

    See you soon

    Mohsin

    Hello Mohsin,

    You can try the following:

    1. run Adadmin and regenerate all of the jars with FORCE option.

This can be done according to the following steps:

    1.1 run adadmin
    (a) select main menu administration option 1 AD) generate applications file menu
    (b) select generate option files applications 4) generate product jar files

    When asked for the option,
You want to force the regeneration of all jar files? [No]?
    The answer Yes.

This will force all the pots to be rebuilt.

1.2 once that the process of reconstruction of pot is complete, follow these steps to verify whether or not the pots have been rebuilt successfully.
    CD a. $FND_TOP/java/jar
    b. ls - lrt

1.3 check the timestamps are later and reflect the moment reconstructed jar.

    2. clear java/jre cache on the client computer.
    3 bounce Apache.
    4. test again the problem of disconnection and connection back.

    Best regards, den Otter Carlo.
