• Awakening Q10 Q10 blackBerry problem

  I recently spent Baclberry "BOLD" to Q10, and I have quite a strange thing. Handset screen becomes sleep after 30 seconds, and when I try to access the device again, I have to push the power button on the top to wake up the unit and I need to lock the screen so I have to drag up to unlock the device. An alternative workaround is by pressing one of the following keys for the United Nations; lock screen (w, r, e, s, d, f, v).

Why it wouldn't take me to unlock the screen by dragging a time? yesterday I was chatting on BBM and every time (when the unit has been idle for 30 seconds or more) I had to press the power button, and then drag until you get to the application and it drove me crazy. I do not want to increase the screen timeout interval, it would consume more battery unnecessarily.

• Installation of Applications on the Blackberry via desktop software

  Hi all

  I'm a beginner and it is difficult to download my application on a blackberry phone (I tried the torch and "BOLD" phones) via the desktop software so that I can test it on the phone. I followed the tutorial on:http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Desktop-Software-for-PC/Guide-to-installing-applications-on-t... but I get errors when I try to import files (files .alx and .cod files generate errors) and I don't know if the article is obsolete because it refers to Desktop Manager and Application Loader, which I assume is older versions of software.

  The steps that follow are:

  (1) connect my bb via the usb phone and open the desktop software

  (2) once connected, click on the Applications tab

  3) click Import files

  (4) search for the actual file (tried with files .alx and .cod files) on my filesystem (my computer)

  (5) and I select open to import the file (tried the .alx and .cod files also)

  Error message is: "there was an error importing files. No additional applications can be found. "Your file may contain applications that already exist in the list of applications, are not compatible for your device or errors.

  I certainly know that the application has no errors because it's the standard helloworldtheme that comes with the plugin for eclipse bb. I also know that the application does not already exist in my application list. I don't know how to check if the application is compatible with my device, but I have a feeling that is not the problem.

  I'm surprised how hard something that seems so simple doesn't seem to work.

  I would appreciate any help or someone who can point me in the right direction to do so.

  I use a BB Bold 9000 with DTM 4.7.0.37 installed on a laptop (Dell Latitude 420). I created the DTM to synchronize contacts, tasks, memos and calendar with my databases notes 6.5.5 via a bluetooth connection. Synchronization worked fine until Wednesday. Since that day I am not able to synchronize the calendar more.  Other synchronizations always work properly.

  I used some tips Forum - delete the IntelliSync folder in my profile, reset the configuration of the synchronization, reset the calendar through the option of backup in DTM. His does not work.

  Since you have already tried these other things (thanks to report this information, btw!), I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down).   I have a new Q10, (also a Z10 and a Playbook).  Q10 was purchased on eBay at the suggestion of the Director of the local bank of T-mobile, which has been unable to provide one.

  The seller was very good about it and has provided three other chargers, none will work on the Q10.  They also provided a 'free' car charger that works.

  Because your Q10 Chargers will charge your Z10, we can rule out the possibility of them being data cables only. A common suggestion when problems arise is to make sure that you use the most recent operating system, which you're not. Before racking your other brain, why not bump up to the most recent available OS and try loading your Q again.

  My previous Blackberry Curve 8330 (using version 4.0 of the software), I had an eSecure app that I downloaded from a text message sent to my phone.  With my new Q10, I "ve done to transfer the data from my old phone again, but the apps has not been transferred.  All lists of contacts, emails, etc. worked well.
