  There may be a program to interfere with Parental controls so that we can try a few things to see if we can determine the application or program that is causing problems.

  First of all, we run System File Checker to see if you have a corrupt file system.

  • Click Start
  • Click on all programs
  • Click Accessories, and then right-click on the command prompt.
  • Select the Security tab and choose "Run as Administrator"
  • Click on command prompt
  • Type SFC/scannow.

  It will scan and repair any damaged operating system files.

  To determine if there is a program because of a conflict, we recommend that you perform a "clean boot" of the computer. A clean boot is designed to disable programs and services in the background as much as possible.   I do not work unless your new router has the same SSID and password wireless as the old. Consult your printer documentation to find out how to handle the situation. For example, some Lexmark wireless printers have a program called Configuration Utility Wireless in the Lexmark folder under all programs on the start menu that is used to set up the printer when changes are made to the wireless network.

  So here's my solution:

  1. go on the Web for hp Support site

  2. go in the software and driver download

  3. set the language of driver on the language of your choice (in fact: it was the main problem)

  4. download an operating system image

  5. run the configuration tool and copy the image of an operating system on a flash drive

  6. restart the workstation and install the os

  7. take advantage of your computer ThinClient in the language of your choice

  I don't know, why the hp Easy Tools downloaded the image of evil, but with this solution, that I find myself at the same point, as if they did.

  Turn off the system restore makes things much more difficult. Your problem is probably due to an inappropriate registry setting. You can restore your registry files manually to a previous point through the steps described below. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. You may reset your password to an earlier value.

  Check the date of the file C:\Windows\System32\config\regback\System. It precedes the date when you became aware of your problem? If so, follow these steps:

  1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.

  2. Select repair in the menu that looks like this.

  3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.

  4. Select repair when prompted.

  5. Select the command line in the menu that looks like this.

  6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
  DIR C:\Win*
  Dir D:\Win*
  dir E:\Win*
  until you find the Windows folder.
  I'll call this "Q:" drive
  7 type these commands exactly:
  CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
  xcopy *. * Q:\MyRegBack\
  CD RegBack
  8 type these commands:
  copy software / y...
  /y copy system...
  /y copy Sam...
  (the two points are part of each order)
  10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\MyRegBack to Q:\Windows\System32\config.
