Apply online - PDF file

I was previously using Jotform for an online application that I had to build manually.  My client decided it was too long and since it was not WYSIWYG in any case, want their original PDF as the form.  Iota form says it was too complex and can't convert.  What is the best way to do it in MUSE?  I do it too hard as an online form? So, would it be only a downloadable and fillable PDF on the screen that the applicant will be by e-mail rather than submit online?  Please notify.  This certainly isn't the first scenario of online application! You would think online as a WYSIWYG would be simple, but I will do what works best.

Thank you

Kevin

For the creation of such a form fillable complex in Muse, you will need to take the help of any third party service, if you do not want to use JotForm, then I suggest you to make it simply as a downloadable and fillable PDF form on-screen.

Alternatively you can also use some third party such as - widgets Adobe Muse Wufoo forms Widget

Thank you

  • My laptop can not download and open online pdf files

    Hello

My computer (WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE {32 Bit}) done an update on February 27, now I can't open or download files special PDF Online.

I tried to run the system restore point, but it does give me a DATE option that I want to restore.

He gave me this option date March 3, 2015 only.

    Help, please!

    Hello
Thanks for posting your questions about Microsoft Community.
To help you better could you please clarify a number of things like:
    1. you try to download a .pdf file as an attachment to an email or a Web site hyperlink?
    2. What is the default browser installed on the computer?
    3. what actually happens when you try to download\open a pdf file?
    4. What is the management software pdf documents by default (such as Adobe reader or NitroPDF) installed on the machine?

However, assuming you are using Acrobat or Adobe Reader on a system that includes a browser, you configure automatically the browser to open PDF files in the browser window. Acrobat and Adobe Reader install the ActiveX plugin files allow you to use Internet Explorer or AOL to open PDF files.

If an application is installed, but do not open the PDF files in the browser window, then work through the following steps to configure the browser:
To open PDF files in a browser window, the ActiveX folder should contain the following files: AcroPDF.dll, AcroIEHelper.dll and pdfshell.dll.

ActiveX controls must be in: program files Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX
If one of these files is missing, then repair Acrobat or Adobe Reader by choosing Help > repair Acrobat Installation or reinstall the application.

Make sure that you use a version of your web browser, Acrobat and Adobe Reader supports, such as Internet Explorer. Supported for Adobe Acrobat 8, Adobe Reader 8 browsers are Internet Explorer 6.0, 6.0 SP1, Internet Explorer 7.0, Firefox 1.5 or later, Mozilla 1.7 and AOL 9.

To make sure that the Windows registry provides the information that your web browser should display PDF files, restart Windows. If the Windows registry is not updated after the installation of Acrobat, then the web browser can not find the references it needs to access the PDF files on the web.

    Reinstall Acrobat or Adobe Reader.

To ensure that the correct information of the plug-in is added to the Windows registry, reinstall Acrobat or Adobe Reader. If you want the browser to open PDFs in a separate Acrobat window, then configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader as a helper application. Then, when you select a PDF file in Internet Explorer or AOL, the browser opens the PDF file in an Acrobat window instead of the browser window.

To configure the browser to use Acrobat or Adobe Reader to open PDF files:
    1. close your web browser.
2 start Acrobat or Adobe Reader.
    3 Choose Edition > Preferences.
    4. Select Internet in the list on the left.
5 disable the display option IN the browser, and then click OK.
    6. restart Internet Explorer or AOL.

    Finally,.

And there is also a possibility that the file association to open pdf files was damaged for some reason, then we will have Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader as default program and check if that helps. Please refer to:

Note: The next time you select a link to a file PDF, the browser may prompt you to open or save the file. If you choose to open the file, then the browser opens the file in the support application that you specified. If you choose to save the file, the browser downloads the file to the hard drive.

    I hope this helps.
Please get back to us with the required information, and we would be happy to help you.

    Kind regards.
  • Foxit Reader does not open online pdf files

I use Firefox 3.6.11 and Foxit Reader 4.2. I have no problem opening pdf files that I saved. But when a website wants to open a pdf file, I get a blank page.

Another thing you'll need to do after you open Foxit tools and check both boxes, is to open Firefox, go to: Tools > Options > Applications. Scroll to PDF Document under Content Type. Cross action, click on the arrow to open the drop down menu and select: use Foxit Reader.

  • Hi, Adobe Reader XI crashes when I try to connect to an online pdf file.

Hi, can someone help, please? Adobe XI player crashes when I connect to a PDF Online. Pre-recorded those still read correctly. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader and reset google chrome, but the problem is still there! What can I try next?

Chrome uses its own Viewer PDF, not the Adobe Reader plugin. See http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/pdf-browser-plugin-configuration.html

    @kellyc1979

While Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE/Edge on Windows 10, is the version of ActiveX of Flash Player and Acrobat Reader uses the version of the flashplayer NPAPI plugin.  Please see Adobe Reader and Acrobat Flash Player download for Windows download and install the NPAPI plugin that uses Acrobat Reader.

  • Why the CD player replace default 'use Acrobat Pro' to open pdf files?

Had to install the CD player to open online pdf files. Already have Acrobat Pro. After the installation of the drive of DC and despite repeated together "use this application to open pdf files" Acrobat Pro, CD player overrides this setting. Seems so new versions of programs... as, for example, Windows 10... are programmed by nerds who seem to think they know more about what a user wants to that user only. Sites now offer pdf files requiring a CD to open, but this version now seems to have the attitude "to hell with what you want to do." I want only to set Acrobat Pro as my default application to open pdf files. How can I do this? And, Adobe, why do you think that you know better than I what I want? < Nothing new, by the way; I had to do to make the script processing in PhotoShop, because it substitutes for my choices for the target files and your technicians had no idea how to solve this problem, with workarounds.

    Hi brucec3514345,

Acrobat Reader DC has been defined as the once its installed default PDF Viewer, this is a behavior of design. However, you can change the default program, open Acrobat, navigate to the Edit-> Preferences-> General-> click "set as my default pdf reader.

Click OK to confirm the changes.

    Kind regards

  • Bloat pdf file from Word Macintosh?

When you create a pdf file of a Word on a Mac file, the file size becomes huge.  The same file converted to PDF using Acrobat on a Windows machine results in a much smaller file.  For example, I wrote a two-page letter that included several photos:

    Original file size: 12.9 MB

PDF created by Acrobat on Windows PC: 227KO

PDF created by Acrobat on Mac (OSX10.10): 61.1 MB

PDF created by Mac: 61.2 MB

    What the hell is happening?

    Thank you.

Maybe you can tell us exactly how you created the PDF file from a Word under MacOS document?

You have installed Acrobat? If so, which version?

Word you used the file => save as-online PDF

or have you used leader-online Print-online PDF => record in PDF...

or have you used -Online Print-online PDF File => Save as Adobe PDF...?

If you do not have Acrobat installed such that used the -Online Print-online PDF file => save as Adobe PDF... option, all bets are off.

  • I needed to know if this PDF pack can be used in a PHP application to read a PDF file, apply the watermark on it and make it available for download online.

The PHP application reads a PDF file from a folder, apply watermark on it and online is displayed in a web browser.

Is this possible using the Adobe PDF pack?

    Waiting for answer,

    Kind regards

    Hello Sanjay Singh,

Adding a watermark in a PDF document requires Acrobat; It is not something you can do with Adobe PDF Pack.

    Best,

Somewhere along the line while trying to open a PDF, Microsoft Word has been selected. Now, whenever I try to open a pdf file it takes me to Microsoft Word where, of course, it will not open. How can I cancel the directive to Microsoft Word and apply Adobe Reader instead?

  • How to view a pdf file online in the body of the browser

I am having some problems in interaction with pdf documents online with a Web site called Equator.com. I use the latest version of Firefox (10.0) and running Mac OS Lion. What can be done to fix this problem?

    Hi richardconte,

Have you looked at the article Knowledge Base files PDF view in Firefox? First, you will need to install a PDF Plugin. Next, you need to tell Firefox to open the PDF file in the browser. The article covers all of this information and provides troubleshooting steps in case you encounter any problems.

    Hope this helps!

  • Adding a hyperlink to a URL that is a PDF file online

I'm trying to add a URL to InDesign, and then save it as an interactive PDF - I have no problem normal URL to my work to InDesign (for example, www.adobe.com) link, however the URL I'm trying to add is a PDF Online. Here is the URL I'm trying to link: www.isealalliance.org/sites/default/files/private/ISEAL%20DIPI%20India%20baseline%20study %20report.pdf

Once I added to the URL, everything looks good on the links Panel in InDesign. I then export the file in InDesign as a PDF from Adobe (Interactive). When I click on the hyperlink in Adobe PDF generated the following message window appears:

There is no application ready to open the URL www.isealalliance.org/sites/default/files/private/ISEAL%20DIPI%20India%20baseline%20study % 20report.pdf.

Search the App Store for an application that can open this document, or choose an existing application on your computer.

I have then to choose three options: cancel, choose Application and search App Store.

When I select: choose Application, there is no application that I am able to select. I thought by selecting preview, or Acrobat Pro would have been available to select, but no.

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

The problem are the spaces indicated as %20 in the link. Remove them the PDF file name or try to write the link with space instead if it written by % 20.

I will never understand why people are displayed on a file server public with spaces and extended characters that are always problematic.

  • Acrobat Pro XI, after placing a watermark on a PDF file, applying an A / Web certificate, then save as a PDF - A, the text in the document becomes unfathomable.

After adding a watermark in Acrobat Pro XI and / Web certifying and saving as a PDF - A, the text in the PDF file becomes unfathomable, and it seems that the pages have been flattened.  Under Save settings, I can see radio boxes I can uncheck to make sure that the pages become flattened. This translates into an error and the PDF file does not get it's / Web certification.  Is this a bug?  I can search for text in an A / Web document certified without watermark, fine.  I can search for text in a document with a watermark and no A / Web certification, very well.  But not with the two elements applied.  Why the watermark is causing a conflict?  Is there a way to solve or work around this problem?

    Thank you!

I do not know what A / Web is. But if you save as PDF/A-1a or PDF/A-1b, and that transparency, it must be flattened. Flattening often lose the text completely, for example, if the text superimpose a transparent image.  Your watermark is probably using transparency. Not a glitch or bug.
