AppSpeed Setup error: appspeed is not a server Appspeed

I try to install Appspeed on a stand-alone server for vsphere 4.0.  After inporting the ovf template I ran through appspeed Setup.  I put the IP address, ect and chose the name of the default namespace to appspeed.  He finds my vcenter server, which uses the port 446, and I saw a plugin available for appspeed.

I clicked to download and install the plugin appspeed and he came up with the error message "unable to install the plugin as the VI client is running.  To complete the installation, close the VI client and try again"I close my vsphere client and let the error message to the top and click on 'Retry '.  It passes through the installation and shows its full.

Then, I run my client vsphere and connect to my server vcenter.  I click on Home-> Appspeed.  Appspeed page, I get the following error message: "appspeed is not a server Appspeed.  A list of the namespaces in the available Plug-ins menu. »

I opened mamger plugin and it shows vcenter appspeed as a plugin installation and is activated.  Under plugins available, it shows appspeed with download and installation status.  If I click to download and install it gives me the error above on the client VI being open... If I close the VI client and install and reopen vcenter and return to appspeed, I get the same message error abot appspeed is not a server appspeed

Any ideas?

Hello

AppSpeed is configured to run with vCenter HTTP port 80 by default. Since you have changed to 8080, you will need to do the following:

1. on your local client, go to C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Virtual Client\Plugins\AppSpeed Infrastructure

2. open the settings.config in a text editor.

3 remove the tags from the port and change the port 80 by default on port 8080 ( Port > 80 > should be replaced by)

4 save the file and restart the VI client.

Please let us know if you are able to connect after the change.

Thank you

  • Setup error: (E:\ is not a valid Win32 application)

I am trying to install Windows 7 on my Windows XP computer.  I inserted the disc of windows 7 in the DVD player and get the error E:\ is not a valid Win32 application.  How can I solve this problem?

You are running 32 bit XP and try to install Windows 7 64-bit? If so, you must restart and boot from the DVD.

    Installation custom own steps

    Time to use:
Or the transition from XP to 7, not supported in place upgrade paths (ex: Vista Home Pro 7)
Move Windows to a 64-bit system from a 32-bit system or change languages
Don't want to make a room upgrade, or if you want a fresh install / clean

You can use a Full Windows 7 or upgrade disk to do a custom clean install. This will remove all of your programs, but you can save your files and settings on an external storage before doing so. You will need to reinstall all your programs after installing Windows 7. Here are the steps:

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor to see if there are known problems that might affect installation and if you can install the 32-bit or the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/downloads/Upgrade-Advisor

    2. backup all your files and settings to avoid losing documents, photos and other information. Windows Easy Transfer is a free tool to copy files (not programs) from your PC and then transfer back after installation of Windows 7. If you don't want to use Windows Easy Transfer, you can copy your files to a Flash DRIVE or CD/DVD. Note: The easy transfer will not work when changing languages, or when moving from 64 bit to 32 bit (it will work ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit).
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/Windows-easy-transfer

    3. find the discs installation and license/product associated to all your programs keys, because you have to manually reinstall all programs. If you have downloaded some Internet programs you can redownload them.

    4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation do you want?" click "Custom (advanced)." Note: 32 to 64-bit requires you to restart and boot from the DVD.

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, you can use Windows Easy Transfer (or a different backup method you used) to restore your files & settings and use your installation disks to reinstall all your programs. Then you're done - take advantage of Windows 7.

  • Service Pack 1 Setup error. -The server has failed

original title: Service Pack 1 Setup error. Windows XP Home 32 bit

The following occurred during the installation of Service Pack 1a tried to download files from the service pack 1 on the internet:

    The server did not respond.

This happened again and again I clicked retry. The program tries to connect to http://xpSP1.microsoft.com/isapi/pstream3.dll/xp/SP1.USA.1106a

I also followed the links he is said to take on the web page of the service pack for installation troubleshooting. I am only given a choice to restore the default settings on the automatic updates. I have not automatically updated.

You try to update a system restore which is now Windows XP 'Or' (without service pack)?

If so, please read the tips following long-standing MS MVP PA Bear.

If this isn't the case, please explain what you are trying to do.

Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything in the list below, in order, before connecting the machine to the internet or a local network (i.e. other computers) and before you plug in a flash, SD card, or any other external computer diskotherwise:

    1. Make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled.
    2. Uninstall any moment invalid Norton, McAfee, etc., free version of test which was also reinstalled, run the appropriate removal tool (see below), and then install an application antivirus of your choice (for example, http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/default.aspxMicrosoft Security Essentials- free).
    3. Arrival to Windows Update & get the computer fully patched.
    4. Install Windows Defender [Editor's Note: obsolete; do not install] or another anti-spyware application that integrates a real-time protection.

TIP: Use another and negative computer to download programs for, for example, SP2 or SP3 installation, the installer for your new anti-virus application and or other removal tools cited below. Transfer these files to CD or DVD (not a flash drive) and then transfer the files of the CD or DVD on the desktop of the computer you are using.

TIP: After getting the computer fully patched, download/install KB971029 manually before connecting any external drive to your computer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971029 [1]

VERY IMPORTANT! => Any Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You need TO uninstall the trial for free AND download/run the appropriate removal BEFORE tool to install updates, the Windows Service Packs, or updates of IE AND BEFORE installing your new antivirus application (for example, Microsoft Security Essentials - free).

  • Three computers networked fine then suddenly the error message «...» Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. "

I had a network that worked very well with three 2 computers running Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Edition 1. Suddenly, the network has just stopped allowing certain communications giving the above error message (I have another thread address with XP to Vista computers). The main computer with XP Pro, I'll call A, the second computer with XP Pro, I'll call B and third with XP Home will be C. All computers can share files and printers then without any changes to the system that occurred the following:

A can access the documents and printers on B and C

B may NOT have access to documents or printers on one, but access to documents and printers on C

C cannot have access to the documents on one, but CAN access A printer and CAN access the documents and printers on B

When access is denied error message is displayed:
"\\A\My documents is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. "(\\A\ being the computer that I am trying to access)

As I said access from all computers on this network was working fine a week ago and there has been absolutely no changes made to the network. I checked the following

    1. workgroup name on all computers are the same
    2. file and printer sharing are enabled for all computers.
    3. all computers may been from each computers just denied in some cases.

The firewall that runs on all three machines is AVG and there were no changes to the one last week, but I checked that sharing is allowed.

I even tried to run the Configuration Wizard from the network on all computers to see if it works, but the same exact problems occur after doing this.

I met this problem now THREE times. I can't believe that I'm the only one who has this problem and I can't believe that there isn't a solution for it. None of the Microsoft documentation has even a hint of a solution for this specific problem.

I need a solution that closes completely the network at my church, and they cannot afford to buy printers and others for each of their computers.

This error message is misleading. See article Knowledge Base Microsoft Antivirus software may Cause Event ID 2011 for a likely solution, specifying a value of IRPStackSize 15 on A computer.

    Steve,

Thanks a lot for the link to this article.
    It was most helpful.

I also found this forum useful post:
    http://www.techsupportforum.com/Networking-Forum/networking-support/114373-cant-map-new-network-drive.html

In particular, he said to check the event log of the computer that you are trying to connect to (the remote computer) to search for an event ID 2011, which would be entered in the time you finally tried to connect and does not.
I did alt-click on the icon MY COMPUTER (from the remote computer) and the menu HANDLE, click the EVENT VIEWER folder (in the left pane), and then the SYSTEM folder under that.
On the right pane, I found an ad for the event ID 2011 at the time wherever I finally tried to connect.

To test this, I went to the VISTA laptop and tried to connect the computer to Office XP again, which gives a different error message on the VISTA laptop.
When I went back on the XP desktop I tried to connect to and looked again to the event log, of course ANOTHER event ID 2011 has been registered with the new time of my additional attempt to connect.

He confirmed that it was likely that the IRPStackSize was the problem, as your proposed article.

Then I printed article how DO TO SAVE AND RESTORE the REGISTER to: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756/
then backed up the registry (both by running a restore system to register and by exporting from the top level of the regedit).

I then went in regedit on the desktop in XP for the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\SERVICES\LANMANSERVER\Parameters file described in your article.
There was NOT an entry for IRPStackSize in the right pane, so I followed the instructions in the add - it and change it to decimal 15.
I rebooted and tried to connect but still got the same error.
The article said that the default value is 15, so I assumed that adding input IRPStackSize to 15 has not changed anything.

So I went into regedit and changed the value of IRPStackSize of 15 to 18, restarted and it solved the problem.

I found that the following articles is also useful in the resolution of this problem (aside from the one you gave):

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/285089
