• AirPlay stall

  I've recently updated iTunes to the newest version 12.4.0 and, since then (I may be wrong on the calendar, but it is around then), my my AppleTV (then my speakers) AirPlay has been stalling. I've restarted both iTunes and Apple TV last night and, after taking an abnormally long time to connect (30 seconds), then the speakers played normally for about 45 minutes. This morning, when I woke up, I chose the AppleTV in iTunes to listen to music and, once he couldn't connect, remote speakers disappeared as an option. In addition, my iPhone either AirPlay for the AppleTv. Any help would be appreciated.

  I thought about it. I had chosen a channel for the wifi was not working, so problems with airtime and the AppleTV. When I turned on the router to Auto for the channel, the problem has been resolved.

Switched to another account by default, but after an hour, the phone displays still only 3 contacts (3 initially to the new Gmail account).

  I've got low power of the OTA signal in the House, but have active WiFi on & excellent signal strength. Phone tries to use OTA instead of WiFi? Any suggestions for the completion of synchronization?

  Well, did not help here, but will answer to myself, since I solved the problem and others could benefit.

  1. find the last contact that synchronized with Google

  2 delete the contact from Palm Desktop AFTER the one that got to (in alphabetical order by family name)

  3. reset the phone, list of partial contacts deleted from Google

  4 reloaded the phone with DTA

  5. sync with Google, and all the contacts make this time (approximately 50 contacts per minute)

  Looking at the deleted contact, he had a carriage for the business phone number, but not of return number. Perhaps the special character messed up the conversion? If so, Palm should do a better job of filtering & escape special characters when dealing with random user input around...

  I noticed that as well. I really didn't take the risk of a download. I did, however, run a piece of paper in the back to feed while the rolls were treatment and it seemed to solve the problem. Do not know why. Ghost in the machine, I guess.  I did this thinking if I interrupted his model a bit, it could be confused. This is perhaps what made him.   I've been using Airfoil (now in 4.9.2) to great success but this an 'old' Express seems to be problems with the maintenance of network connectivity.

  It could just be dying (seems hard to believe) or is there a cure?  OR... should I get out the dreaded deployed trombone and lobotomize the device so I can start over?

  Version 6.3 of the AirPort Express is old. Apple has abandoned this model in 2007 so even if you bought the product when it has been be eliminated, it is at least 9 years and over 10-12 years.

  The average useful life of an AirPort Express is about 5 years old at best, so pat yourself on the back for your incredibly good luck with the device on this point.

  Now that it's started to give up... it will fail quickly. But before this, the drops will happen more often.

• Pages on iPad a few stalls

  I just lost a great document on the last Pages on my new iPad! The * thing would not open all the files, so I deleted the app (thinking that the docs are safe on ICloud - they were not) and installed fresh, but stalls a few Pages when I try to open a document, or even to create a new. Any help would be much appreciated. It worked fine yesterday.
