  You must have installed a Windows 7 64-bit driver (if it exists)
  for this. Do you have? Otherwise, navigate to the web site of the camera

• Shortcut to shared folder used for years, suddenly will not work.

  So far, I was able to send files to the shared folder on the desktop or laptop computer and access them from computers. (Both running Windows 7). The only "change" to the system recently is the August security updates. Now I can send to the shared folder on the desktop but cannot access it from the laptop. Unfortunately, I always have a hard time linking my IM using wifi. This will never work! For example, whenever I try to log-in using my yahoo Messenger, I always get an error message indicating that "Service not allows for this pocket. I think maybe since it is a preinstalled application I should be able to use my IMs (esp. yahoo and google) using the wifi as when you use your iphone or android devices. So is there a problem on my phone because I can't use my IMs using wifi? Also I'm using curve BB 9220. Thank you!

  BlackBerry devices have owners that require subscription to a package of data from your provider, even if you use these services via WiFi. I don't remember if the specific services you mention fall into this category or not, but you need to ring to the top of your service provider and tell them about the exact services that you want to use and then make sure that you subscribe to a package of adequate data from them to enable these services.

  with my new BlackBerry 9800 Torch, I tried to take pictures, but it simply does not work.

  I tried every button described in the manual (on the touch screen or button below or the touch of comfort on the right side of the BB), but the BB will not take a picture. I can make videos, but not photos. Just with the "photo" "facial recognition" mode (sorry if this is not correct, I just translated it, my Blackberry speaks German :-)) it can take pictures, but not in automatic mode or another.)

  It's just kind of a weird bug or I'm too stupid to work with this device?

  Just to clarify, your BlackBerry will only take photos in face recognition mode?  When you're in a different mode, what happens exactly?  You get errors or click noise?  Have you tried to remove and reinsert the battery?

• Group Policy to deploy software will not work on a remote site

  I currently have 3 domain controllers in my environment.  2 (DC1 & DC2) are on my main site (Site A) and 1 (DC3) is on my remote site (Site B).
  When the network between Site A and B link is down users who connect remote Site B (locally) do not receive group policies who deploy software.

  "gpresult /R" shows the software deployment strategy is applied, but the software is not installed.

  No errors in the event log.

  The source of these software installs is my DFS that IS accessible on the Site B when the link is down, as NETLOGON and SYSVOL directories.

  All FSMO roles are DC1.  All domain controllers are Windows 2008 R2.

  What I'm missing here?

  Brand new Officejet Pro 8710 replacing Officejet Pro 8600.

  Installed all the software (I think) and am connected to my PC via USB Windows 10.

  All functions seem to work fine - scan, copy, fax and print of the PC software.

  When I open the printer software, I can't do maintenance tasks such as printing a page of diagonostics, situation report, alignment and cleaning of the print head. It is said "... impossible to print.

  I discovered I can do these tasks using the EWS in the process line, but not with the PC software.

  How to restore this functionality.

  Thank you for becoming a member of the HP Forum. It's a place dynamite to get help from the community, to get suggestions and find what has worked for others.

  I see that you are having problems running the HP printer assistant software maintenance. It seems that the problem with the software of the printer. Try the following steps:

  • Unplug the USB cable from the printer.
  • Go to control panel of configuration-programs and feature - select all of the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Now, click http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/OJ8710/OJ8710_Basicx64_1881.exe and install the printer drivers.
  • Connect the USB cable until you are prompted in the connection type window.

  These measures should do the trick, let me know the result!

• Officejet 5610 software will not work

  I am very disappointed with Hp. I was not able to get the option to scan of "solution Center" to work, because they 'upgrade' worm 13.

  The HPISCNAPP program works very well, so I have to assume that something is messed up in the code. Of course HP is not willing to shoot this very disturbed because the material is no longer under warranty.

  I am running this on a quad core AND with 12 GB of ram on windows 7 ultimate.

  While I'm here I also want to mention that I've updated the software for a photosmart 4780 the other day and the maintained installation failed because the downlaoder saves a file in the folder temp under a name then the installer has searched for the file under a different name and of course could not find. When I renamed the file to match the name of the installer was looking for her has worked well. I think it's extremely sloppy programming and work problems. Good job HP

  You're blaming the wrong people. It's all 'Fault' Apple to no longer support legacy APIs. In any case, it's a moot point. The computer world is changing rapidly, and it should be clear to everyone that beyond a point former software simply won't be more compatible with most modern operating systems. If you cannot meet this 'death race', then you will have to find alternatives. Anything beyond that is not worth debating or post complaints on.

• Fingerprint Software will not work after reinstalling

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the fingerprint, version 3.2.0.341 reader - 20/04/09.  When I try to register a fingerprint, I get the message "Fingerprint Registration: FPApp.exe - cannot locate component" saying "this application has failed to start because css_banner.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. »

  I have re-installed, choose the repair, but I still don't have the error.  However, I see css_banner.dll in \Program Files\Lenovo\Client Security Solution.

  How can I solve this problem?

  Update: I uninstalled the 3.2.0.341 version and installed the version 3.2.0.116.  I have the same problem.

  I solved the problem: I had to fix the Security Client Solution.

  I noticed that if I tried to open the Client Security Solution, I had a similar error on css_banner.dll is not present, message followed by a message CSSLauncher.exe has encountered an error and that it would be closing.  So I decided that since the css_banner.dll belongs to Client Security Solution, it was logical to try to reinstall or repair the application.  I downloaded version 8.2 of drivers and software, and it offered a choice of "repair".  After the repair, my request for fingerprint reader worked.  I've updated the fingerprint reader to the new version of the 20/04/09 3.2.0.341 and it seems to work very well.
