    Hi Csiew42,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

    ·         Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?
    ·         Remember to make changes to the computer recently?
    ·         Who is the manufacturer of your computer?

I suggest to perform the clean boot and check if you get the error again. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot).

    (2) enable half the services.

    (3) determine if the problem comes back.

    (4) enable half of the startup items.

    (5) determine if the problem comes back.

    (6) repeat the steps above until you discover which program or service is causing the problem.

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

    Hi Ad-HocHelp,

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.  Then get any drivers\software update for the device.

Step 2: Run the Startup Repair tool, follow the steps mentioned in the link below to access the system recovery tools.
How to access the System Recovery Options menu?

  • I received a message after you have signed in: ST Services.exe - Entry Point not found.

The context of xmlxpathfree proceduce entry point not found in the dynamic link library Libxml2.dll.  After canceling the message, another message came: MSWindows - ST Service Scheduling has stopped working?  What that is this allusion and what can I do about it?

This program is associated with Dell Datasafe and possibly other Dell programs pre-installed on their computer. If you don't use a Dell Datasafe, you can try to uninstall it.

There is a some evidence that this problem is caused by some registry cleaners and cleaning utilities.

I'm doing a clean install of Windows Vista 32 Bit in Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4). Any version of this driver, I offer for this installation fails with the following error "Windows Installer: setup.exe - Entry Point not found - the procedure entry point LZClose could not be found in KERNEL32.dll dynamic link library ' I have a Silicon Image Sil 3513 SATALink PCI controller that manages my hard drives. The same drivers worked well to install Windows 2000. As I upgrade to Vista version I can only run through the windows so I could not try and see if it will install directly from DOS.

    Thank you

Found a solution. I use the Windows Vista upgrade version & thus tried to install through Windows 2000. However Win 2 k interfaces drives in a different mode of Vista, while he was in conflict. I solved the problem by installing Vista via the bootable disc.

Now just to find the compatible drivers for my asus motherboard and aircraft... Grrrr I'm sure I got this Vista computer previously without all these headaches...

Because the Microsoft Answers forum does not ask for any type of information system when a new question is asked so we don't know anything about your system.  Not knowing the basic information a problem prolongs the frustration and the agony of these issues.

Maybe someday the dialog box 'ask a question' forums XP will ask these questions automatically when a new thread is started so I don't have to ask every time.  It might even be possible to solve a problem in a single response when enough information is provided.

Thank you MS Answers, allowing the resolution of simple problems as frustrating and a lot of time as possible.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

Do you see that you think not you should see and when you see it?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

Googling a bit (very little) reveals that the file wzcsldr2.exe or wzcsldr3.exe belongs to a kind of device from D-link wireless connected to your system.

Fact that sound familiar and you have something like this installed?

If Yes, then I would get the page Support D-Link and find the latest driver for any device you use and install it.  You may need to first uninstall your device running - I'm sure they must have instructions and tips for the procedure.

They also have an active Support Forum where you can post your problem/question to see if people there can help you get there.  There is already some discussion in the forums about the problems you describe, but since we know absolutely nothing about your system, you should probably take it yourself.

I found a few other ideas through Googling, but I don't like some of the ideas I've read and if you stuff worked before, what do you think has changed since the last time it worked correctly?  Did you update or reinstall your device from D-Link or drivers, lately?

    Method 1:

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.
I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

Reset the computer to start as usual
When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

    Method 2:

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

    2 Microsoft Silverlight (KB2977218)

After week last updated to Microsoft, this error is not after the start.

  • NImax.exe entry point not found TDMS_GetDataValueEx in cviTDMS.dll

I have a remote PXI-8108 and I am trying to create a task in MAX.  I have no other task, because this is my first attempt to create a.  The following sequence is executed on the remote system: left click on the PXI-6713 under ' devices OR-DAQmx '--> the task of creating--> trigger signal--> analog output--> voltage--> ao0--> name by default 'MyVoltageOutTask'--> click on "Finish".

An entry Point not found error called "NIMax.exe -" window appears with the following message: the TDMS_GetDataValuesEx procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic link library cviTDMS.dll.

The only option is to click on 'OK', date at which the box reappears constantly.  the only way to get rid of it is to kill MAX in the windows Task Manager.  When I restart MAX, district data remote system has broken below task and clicking on it locks up program (a need to kill another in windows Task Manager).  The only way to get rid of it is to reset the distance the DAQmx system setup and start again.

I reinstalled NIDAQ 8.9.0, reset the configuration of the remote system in MAX, set day/reinstall all the software on the remote system (so that it matches the host system).  don't know what else to try.  I think that this should be a basic step: I did a lot of times with features simulated on a host system.  Not sure why the remote system gives me problems.

I was able to do this on a controller of 8196 DAQmx 9.0 on the regulator and my computer having 8.9.5 smoothly.  Upgrade to 8.9.5 9.0 or even should update MAX and hopefully get rid of what you see.  You are right that the host and the controller must have the same driver version so make sure that you update the two together.  It is quite strange that the error is the link to a DLL of LabWindows/CVI.  Do you use a RT CVI on the controller?
