  Are you using the original OS that you got with your laptop or your own installation of the OS?

  Have you noticed this problem with WIFI only?
  You can use LAN?
  Have you tried to test with another router and other WLAN?

  I was given an iPad 2 and said that it might not work, but I thought it was worth a shot. After plugging in it started but the battery was at 1% and after going through the whole upward for a few minutes, she has restarted itself.
