  Did you ask Road Runner why your sent emails do not leave their server?

  Thunderbird, says 'send successfully' when it get an acknowledgement from the server that the mail has been received ok for the transmission. Your only option is therefore asking for RoadRunner.

  Why always a message in Oulook Express that the recipient of this message is not digitally signed, and then another one saying unencrypted and I click send anyway.   Start over.  First eliminate interference antivirus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  After that go to file | Identities and editing and new identity.  Set up your e-mail account to the$ T, and then use the settings they specify on their website for OE and also told you to support.  (OE can connect and send to THE$ T, there is therefore no clear 'bug' with OE towards them).  See if it works then.

  You have the possibility to communicate with customer service, but you'll be in for a long wait, and they do not know the software as many regular users on this forum.   With the help of this forum allows several people help both and let the other people to see answers that might be useful for them.  It's just a way to much to solve your problems.

  BTW, as a student, you can get a full subscription of CC for $15 per month.  Which would otherwise cost $50 a month.   Buy all the apps cs6 individually (I don't think that Creative Suite 6 is still available you would cost several thousand dollars and for extremely obsolete software.)  Sounds to me that a person would have to be stupid to spend a lot more for software that was nowhere near as good.

  I just started using Acrobat Pro and hope someone can help me. We have a form that has to go through 4 different people to be digitally signed. What I would like to have, it's something like a drop down menu with a list of people that the form can be sent for once one person has signed and then a "submit" button or something that will open a new email in Outlook sent the person chosen. Is this possible?

  I am open to alternate suggestions also. It's just the form that my little stupid mind came with. If there is a better way I'm all for it.

  OK, so what you call a 'dropdown' is called a drop-down list box in Acrobat. In LiveCycle Designer, this type of field is called a "drop-down list.

  So if you created a drop-down list box, added list items and set the value of each item to export, you are almost there.

  Then you have to put in place a button uses JavaScript to retrieve the value from the drop-down list box, which will be the email address to send the form. The code for the MouseUp event of the button might look like:

  This is a barebones script that is designed to help you get started. Replace 'combo1' in the above script exactly match the name of the zone drop-down list that you use, and change the channels sSubj and sBody to use what you want. Post again if you get stuck.

  Don't have you set up your alerts in setup > methods of notification?

  (1) connection OEM as Sysman, go to--> methods of Notification settings and configure your server for outgoing (SMTP) mail and the test.
  2) go to--> General preferences, configure your e-mail addresses and test.
  3) go to target--> databases--> select one of the database
  (4) search for "metric and policy link settings ' and click on this link
  (5) close to the end of the Page you can see "space Tablespace used (%) "Metric.
  Default value for the warning is 85% and critical is 97%. You can change these valuse according to your needs.
  6) go to preferences--> rules
  (7) check the 'availability of the database and critical States' existing rules
  You can change this rule, or you can create like. Under 'Metrics' tab, find "Tablespace space used (%) "metric.
  Change this WOG and "States of gravity for which you want to receive a notification, select" as critical or warning.
  (8) under the label of "Methods", select this checkbox "send me a message. Then you will receive emails to email the sysman user identification.
  (9) prior to this step, you assume to have valid annex to the sysman users if not set schedules.

  The full error message is always useful, but I'm sure you have damaged dbx files.

  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

  Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

  General precautions for Outlook Express:

  Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.
