Attributes of Windows file in the ZIP file
Is there a way to transfer the file and folder attributes when the compression to help add to the ZIP function in LabVIEW? I have a directory with some hidden and some read only files, but it seems that the zip in LabVIEW function ignores these. I don't see why they don't have an entry for cross platform compatibility, but the generation should at least look at the existing attributes and use them in case of Windows operating system.
Y at - it any other zip utility written for LabVIEW that could accomplish what I need to do?
I use 8.5 right now, but he checked in 2009 with the same results.
Thank you!
The zip library OpenG has attributes, then perhaps you might want to use that one.

Problem in opening the .zip on Windows Vista files.
I have, at some point, installed WinZip to open a .zipx file. Unknown to me until now, he put his self as the default program. Now that the trial of WinZip is over, I can more open .zip files. I've removed WinZip, and now, by double clicking on a .zip file, it tells me that the application was not found. I tried to do a system restore, but do not have a restore point from before the point of installation of WinZip. I would like to know how to restore the program that opens files .zip for the factory program. Any help is GREATLY appreciated, as I use it quite often the .zip files. Thank you all in advance!

Windows Photo Gallery does not open the zipped files
Photo Gallery Windows does not open the photos that are in the zipped files received by Email. He said: Photo Gallery can't open this photo or video. This file format is not supported, or you do not have the latest updates to the photo gallery.
This is expected behavior...
Unzip the file and open the uncompressed version. Or just open
the zip files and do drag the photos on the zip file and
drop in a new folder.then you can open. -
How to open the files transferred from one computer to another computer using hardrive external. The
host computer contains windows 7 wps writer and destination 10 windows computer. The files are zip compressed files.
Essentially, just drag the files from the external hard drive to your new desktop computer (or another folder) and double-click it to open the file.
Don't forget, you must install the program that reads that kind of file. If it's a RAR compressed file, for example, your new computer will not have software to open it again. You will need to go download the compression program to open it first.

Could not open the zipped file

Hello
You have any software to open Zip files?
To inform you, a zip file contains one or more of the files that have been compressed to reduce the size of the file, or stored as is. The zip file format allows a number of compression algorithms. Zip files generally use file extensions ".zip" or ".". ZIP ".
You will need third-party software to open ZIP files in Windows XP. Use your favorite search engine to download third party software.
Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

I created a zip of a directory tree file using "send to...". "'Compressed (zipped) folder '. When I try to "extract all...". ", he asks me a password for some (not all) of the files in the zip file. I does not have a password for the zip file. I didn't even know it was possible to have a password on a specific file in a zip! Needless to say, I can not give the password because I don't know what it is.
I tried the following:
(1) created with "send to...". "Excerpt from" compressed (zipped) folder ', with 'extract all... '. ». Result: request password.
(2) created with "send to...". "" Compressed (zipped) folder ", extract with 7 - zip. Result: No password query. All the files extracted intact.
(3) created with 7 - zip, extract with "extract all...". ». Result: request password.
(4) created with 7-zip, extract with 7 - zip. Result: No password query. All the files extracted intact. What I find most interesting is (3).
Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? Is there some kind of security on the files meta-data that could / should cause this behavior?

copy the file in the zipped folder - help!
This is my first Mp3 player. It connected to my PC very well, charge, etc. My PC recognizes it. However, I would like to transfer an mp3 file that is located in a zipped folder. Drag the whole folder does not have a real copy to the "rocket". Unzip the file and then drag that file does not either - unzip the file opens a new window to display the files, then the "rocket" is more listed as an option/target.
This type of file transfer is the entire reason I bought an MP3 in the first place! Can someone help me?
My windows system is XP. I also tried the transfer using Media Player (I have version 11), without success.
Full of hope,
n. b.
First thing you downloaded files zipped directly to the drive or your hard drive? Go to your hard drive. Then, you must check out it. Then when you see this new file right click on it, choose copy then go to 'My Computer' your rocket and open it, chose the open internal memory, open the music folder, then paste it. Follow these steps exactly or if you cannot, after differences you encounter.
