• Files using 24-bit audio and exporting to H.264 Blu - ray

  Hi all

  I use a track 24-bit audio and I mixed with the video but when I try to export the movie using H.264 Blu - ray, the only option I see in Audio > sample size is 16 bits 48 kHz.

  Cannot encode LPCM 24 bit audio first, or did I miss something?

  If I check the properties of the WAV audio file, even from within the first, it's certainly 24-bit integer (little endian), stereo, 96,000 kHz.

  Any ideas?  Am I missing something?

  I guess the problem is Little Endian PCM. Linear PCM is a Blu Ray specification, SD is much more efficient and allows for 16 or 24 bits LPCM 48 or 96 KHz. L (as linear) with 24-bit 96 KHz PCM is not supported by still/PR/AME.

• Audio and video out of Sync

  I capture images from video game using ShadowPlay recording at 60 fps mp4 files. When I import into first and play in the sequence, the audio and video are out of sync. When I play in VLC or Windows Media Player, the timing is perfect.

  Why first plays the audio and video synchronized?

  The corrections that I found online that does not solve the problem are:

  -Make the video in the work area bar (it actually makes it worse for some reason any)

  -Edit video in .mov file extension

  -I know how to use Handbrake to make the files before import has also been suggested, but I don't want to have this extra step added to my workflow, it should not be necessary.

  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

  Not if you use the GPU hardware to capture your h.264 videos, there isn't.  First can not correctly handle variable frame rate images.  And the images only you're going to get your encoder is VFR.

  You have 3 basic choices:

  (1) stop using ShadowPlay and use something else which will tax your system more to capture video in a constant frame rate format.  There are other applications that capture images CFR, generally in AVI format, and the resulting files are massive.  You will have a drop in performance in the game when you use these applications.

  (2) transcode w/parking brake to the CFR

  (3) use a different NLE.  Sony Vegas, from what I hear, will support VFR without problems.  Most other NLEs will not, including Premiere Pro.

  When I play my clips in Premiere Elements, they audio and video synchronized early, but quickly get out. This does not happen with Windows Movie Maker and I had tested a few videos NCH also editing software and do not have this problem.

  I need to create an application that records the audio and video from the webcam and transformations in this video using the latest codecs and formats. The development platform should be Java EE 5. The API standard because it comes to JMF, but unfortunately its development was stopped long before and so I don't know if he's using now is the best choice. What I do currently performs a raw to AVI recording using JMF and convert then to MPEG-4 (H.264) using Xuggle. Unfortunately, this solution does not work very well because the Raw AVI consuming too much disk space, a few minutes takes gigabytes. The best choice would be to do the JMF to use the H.264 codec rather than it is by default, the recording would be alreadly in the right format. I could not find a solution to add a Codec that encodes to the H.264 format, only decoders... so any help will be well appretiated.

  This is the example of how to create a custom codec, techincally. Is a codec that decodes simply PCM to PCM_RTP, but the code structure is there.

  Essentially, a codec not something more than a function of process, where your job is to take the input stream, transcode it and then write to the output buffer. Before being called the first time, setInputFormat / setOutputFormat must be called to specify the transcoding settings.

Check the conflict between Logic Pro X and external device. LPX allow me to change the sampling frequency of 44.1 and 48 kHz, it is not available as an option.

  So yes, I'm aware of the conflict but I can't do something. Is there a work around?

  The problem as you know, it's the USB output Roland of locks the system to 44.1 while the SB is locked at 48. Round it is to get an external MIDI interface and use DIN 5 pin to old for MIDI input/reading and audio recording via the outputs analog L/R in the SB.

  Try the following to see if you can install HP MediaSmart Webcam.

  First, download the MediaSmart Webcam Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Then, if you do not have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip.

  Now, open your download folder, click with the right button on the HP MediaSmart Webcam Installer, select Extract 7 - Zip, select the files and then click Ok.  Open the newly extracted folder, open src and scroll down until you see the application setup ( 12th from the bottom with a size of 310 KB ).  This Application Configuration right click and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once installation is complete, restart the computer and see if the Wecam software has been installed successfully.
