  I just spent some time on telephone support to adobe tent to solve a problem, but only had a half fix.  I get an error of an audio device not supported on my Mac 6.1.  Nothing would in return play, I tried several fixes online, switching equipment, etc., but he was always pushing an error in audio device not supported (using audio devices in the Mac).  The problem was bypassed, then when we were able to create a global audio device that uses a webcam logitech for a microphone input and audio built-in for output.  Now I was getting sound and the guy said that the problem has been completely resolved and I'm good to go.  So I start to play my audio to the rear, and while it does not play back audio, he locked not able to go up to 44.1 Khz or 48 kHz 16 kHz.  Once I tried to remove the logitech camera is a no go once again.

  To be more precise, it gave the following error:

  "The device settings could not be applied because the following error occurred:

  The sampling frequency is not supported by the current audio device.

  The last valid device settings will be used.

  SOLUTION

  I just removed my Logitech camera on the computer, and all of a sudden, it works like a charm...  Clogged again and it wouldn't work... unplugged it and it worked again. It seems that if no input is available, output cannot exceed the rate of sample entries (perhaps because of the recording VO feature?  Whatever it is, that fixed it.  If anyone has this problem before they fix it, I hope this will help them.

  Maybe Dell doed has NO Vista Audio drivers for your model.

• Windows 7 RTM / Realtek HD Audio drivers not installed correctly.

  I have a macbook pro, and I was told that I need to install the latest Realtek HD audio drivers, as the drivers included on the OSX cd are not good.

  I downloaded both the executable installer for the drivers and the zip file, but regardless of how I approach it, after installation and reboot, I find myself with a little red cross on my audio down to the right icon, no noise, and after a quick diagnosis, I said that there is a problem with the Realtek driver.

  You can check with the vendor for the AC 97 Audio Codecs for installation instructions or read readme file for installing the audio driver. You can also provide the model number of the audio chip on your motherboard to the vendor for more information on audio driver installation instructions.

  I recently reformatted the laptop Toshiba Satellite U205-S5002 we gave me, since XP Home Edition, XP Professional.
  For the life of me, I can't my audio drivers to work. I tried all the downloads on the site of Toshiba, as well as several was recommended to me by a professional.

  whenever I try to burn a video file on a dvd - r disc, it will play in my dvd player, but said that the audio format is not supported. is that the wrong type of disc?

  You may need to use some sort of program, editing, if you are down and drag it to the dvd-video.

  So I recently downgraded my laptop dv4-1120us to XP.

  I have fixed all the drivers, but my audio driver seems to work correctly.

  I have not drivers 'unknown' and under my "audio, video, and game controllers", all the drivers are installed.

  I still get all the sounds, and I do not get the sound icon in the lower right of the screen.

• Windows vista keeps installation device HD Audio drivers not suitable for my card driver package...

  I use his extreme gamer of Sb. Vista guard card install the drivers HD Audio and won't install drivers creative creative. I tried to update and uninstall them but now just creative installation does not recognize the card and windows just re - installs again.

  I'm on windows 8 on my laptop want TO M6.

  After updating the "IDT high definition audio drivers" HP support assistant media Player stopped working (error on windows media player, itunes and app music same xbox) but windows sounds are beautiful, and I know that the speakers are working when playing youtube or plug in any device.   I'm far from being comfortable with all programs of this type, so please bear with me. I am doing a slideshow for my Peewee team and I'm up to the wire to it. I bought PE4 in an attempt to open some options for our slideshows (my wife has already used Roxio but I wasn't happy with it). I'm trying to take a video that I've transferred from VHS to DVD using a Magnavox dubbing system. I am trying to take the video of the dvd and put it in PE4, so that I can put music on the video (the things in the crowd were not always things that grade 5 students should hear when they look at their video of the season). I succumbed to the import of files in PE4. I always get the same error message: "audio rate not supported in the file. I tried to convert the dvd to AVI using "Next Video Converter 3.0" and even "DVD Shrink 3.2" & "AutoGK".» I even tried to convert it to AVI using NVR and leaving out of the audio file. I still get the same message. Please someone help me with this. I am against the ropes here, and I don't want to disappoint my boys.

  The challenge is that these VHS to DVD dubbing sometimes systems use codecs (compression systems) for their video and audio that don't Digest well in programs such as Premiere Elements.

  The simplest solution is to convert DVD files (which are the VOBs) to DV - AVI using a program called MPEG Streamclip. Instructions where to find it and what are the settings to use in the FAQ on the right of this forum.

  A much simpler way to do this, is to let the DVD on the move of the VHS to digital completely. You can do this by using a device called a DV bridge. You plug your camcorder VHS or player inside and it connects (via FireWire) on your computer. The files it creates on your computer are DV - AVI, the ideal format for editing in Premiere Elements.

  I recommend the ADS Pyro AV Link. It sells for less than $150, and it will be more profitable for itself in a few weeks, if you do this kind of dubbing VHS regularly. The FAQ have more information about it and other DV devices. (Do not use cheaper scanners, like the Dazzle unit, incidentally. It only will lead to more headaches.)

  I n t have Equium L40 but I'm pretty sure that the audio drivers are working properly. The point is that you need to first install Service Pack 3 before you can install the audio driver.

  So to remove the current sound driver and install Service Pack 3 for Windows XP. After that, you can try reinstalling the audio driver.

  I think you tried a bad driver.
  Some of the A300 series supports a Conexant audio chip and some of these units are equipped with a Realtek audio chip to use the right driver for a sound card.

  Satellite A300 PSAG0A - 02100Q supports a chip (onboard) Realtek ALC268 sound and you have the Realtek HD audio driver.
