Audio skipping

I had a problem with my audio skipping for about a month. He jumps when I opened several applications or when I switch from one process to another. Audio slows down and becomes extremely crisp and inaudible.
The problem is not limited to any application into one; It happens in iTunes, WMP, and Youtube among other programs/websites. I tried to buy a new sound card, but it does not solve anything.

I am running Vista Ultimate on a computer custom; 2 GB DDR2 800, Core 2 E6400, 320 GB Seagate HDD, a nVidia 8600 GT and map its Creative X - Fi Gamer.

    I have a Toshiba A105 with DVD multi disc player recorder.
    When I got the laptop in 2006 CD and DVD played fine without skipping audio, but now, I noticed audio CD to jump unless I have to pull them up on my computer.
    Then I tried a DVD and the picture is fine, but the sound skips unless I use DVD shrink and save the movie on my computer.

    Hi Mondobee,

    • You have a third-party codec pack installed on the computer?

    If you have any third-party codec pack installed on the computer, you can try to temporarily disable the codec pack or try to uninstall it and check if the movies and songs to jump into Windows Media Player. Later, reinstall or enable the codec pack after verification.

    I also suggest you to disable improvements audio speaker and check if it helps you difficulty jump her.

    To disable the audio improvements speaker, follow the steps below:

    A. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, hardware and sound, then clicking sound.

    B. on the playback tab, click speakers and then click Properties.

    C. click the enhancements tab, and then check Disable all improvements.

    If you do not see the enhancements tab in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

    If disabling audio enhancements solves the problem you are having, this indicates that your audio driver should be updated.

  • Audio skipping on the Satellite L350

    I have problems with the audio on my Satellite L350.

    I bought it in February & for the first two months, I had no problem, but more recently I've been doing audio stuttering/vibrations/jump on my laptop.
    It always happens to intervals of 5 minutes for a few seconds on all the sound elements of my laptop - CD, DVD, winamp, iTunes, Windows media player, Media Player VLC, audio stream of Web sites, tones of warning if they happen be awakened at 5 min interval.

    I've seen some suggestions about this problem online like updating my audio drivers (I tried that & it didn't work), close all unesscesary programs, listen to music when I am not connected to the internet & the cnnection wireless on my laptop is off - none of them have worked.

    If someone else has had this provblem & is there a solution for this?

    Hello

    Hmm, I've never had or heard of this issue. I have the Satellite L300, which is similar to yours and I can't view t no problem with sound I even often listen music.

    In any case, noticed the same problem with external speakers too? I mean if you can determine if the internal speakers causing this problem or something else.
    Check it!

    In addition, I would recommend updated the BIOS you can find on the Toshiba site.
    And what OS are you using? You use the factory settings or you have installed another Windows?

    This happens when the music is played, matches are played etc.

    The kind jump sounds like distortion.

    Latest video drivers are also installed, and Windows Update shows no more updates.

    Any ideas?

    Hello:

    You have the installed HP Power Assistant?

    If so, uninstall it and see if the problem goes away.

    If for any reason any you like the companion of power, and then reinstall the older version from your laptop support and driver page and never update it (at least until some lowest revisions of line which can solve the problem).

  • Audio "skips / stutters ' second time it is played.

    I am building an app that reuses several sounds again and again. I'm running a problem with the audio tag when a sound is reproduced.

    The first time that the sound is played he plays well, but sometimes it "stutters" at the beginning of the sound clip.

    I broke it up to its simplest form:

    sound test

    I posted a working example at http://www.tristancater.com/playbook

    It's works fine in chrome, but you will live the stuttering through the browser of the PlayBook.

    I know that I can recreate the sound whenever I want to use that eliminates this problem. But this, I was running in the memory of the questions because each audio clip is loaded into memory and I could not find a way to free him.

    her var = 'Right ';

    function playSound (sound) {}
    SND = new Audio (sound + ".mp3");
    SND. Play();
    }

    I thought I had found a work around for this in this way:

    her var = 'Right ';

    function playSound (sound) {}
    SND = new Audio (sound + ".mp3");

    snd.addEventListener ("finished", function() {}
    SND. SRC ="";
    (}, false);

    SND. Play();
    }

    This solves the memory eating question however, that random application crashes.

    I'd love to hear all of the solutions to repeat audio. I'm sure it's a common thing in games.

    I also had trouble with HTML5 audio on the PlayBook, and I found a solution that seems to work perfectly well.

    First take a look at the Tunneltilt sample of BlackBerry:

    https://github.com/BlackBerry/WebGL-samples/tree/master/tunneltilt

    See the 'sounds.js', "Readme.md" and the folder blackberry.custom.audio files

    They play using an adobe air extension, not not not using HTML5 audio. This extension has absolutely no problem with playing multiple sounds at the same time and the sound is clear. There are some things to notice, you:

    1. I wasn't able to play wav files so I had to convert all audio files to mp3
    2. Audio files may not be too short, so I added some silence at the end of the sound. My tests, I found that the audio files must be at least 130-130 milliseconds long.
    3. Ripple (in its current version) emulator does not support the extensions, so you hear no noise up to that deploy you your application.

    Here is an article that deals with extensions:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Web-and-WebWorks-development/tutorial-for-writing-WebWorks-ex...

    Just one last thing. I think they have a leak memory in the extension code, so here's my version of the file 'CustomAudio.as ':

    package blackberry.custom.audio
    {
        import flash.media.Sound;
        import flash.media.SoundChannel;
        import flash.media.SoundTransform;
        import flash.net.URLRequest;

        import webworks.extension.DefaultExtension;

        public class CustomAudio extends DefaultExtension
        {
            public function CustomAudio() {
                super();
            }

            override public function getFeatureList():Array {
                return new Array ("blackberry.custom.audio");
            }

            public function playFile(eFileName:String, eLoops:int, eVolume:Number, ePan:Number):Number {
                var req:URLRequest = new URLRequest(eFileName);
                var snd:Sound = new Sound();
                var channel:SoundChannel = new SoundChannel();
                snd.load(req);
                var pausePosition:int = channel.position;
                var sndTransform:SoundTransform = new SoundTransform(eVolume, ePan);
                channel = snd.play(pausePosition, eLoops, sndTransform);
                return 0;
            }

            public function setVolume(eSoundID:Number, eNewVolume:Number):void {
                //this method has been disabled
            }
        }
    }

    It will be useful.

  • Windows 7 Audio skip/cutting

    Hello, I have been using Windows 7 on this PC for over 2 years now, but I have very recently started having problems with my audio cutting out randomly. The problem comes immediately after the start and is usually after a few hours of use, usually once I'm in a PC game or listening to music. The audio will cut in and out frequently once it starts, and what I'm listening becomes unintelligible due to cut. My temporary solution is to reboot, which gets rid of the problem for a few hours.

    The problem persists, all programs, which means that it is not only in games, or only on YouTube, etc. It is quite irritating that I stop what I do to reboot and hope the problem goes away. I did a lot of research and have yet to find a solution. I thought it was my audio drivers, and I didn't know that they were obsolete, so I've updated them, but the problem persists. I guess that the problem has something to do with my use of the CPU, since it happens only a few hours after I start my PC.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Audio playback takes usually one deferred "back seat" to other processes deemed most important by the system. I suspect that your system is running several programs more than actually necessary background for normal operation. I suggest that you start in a "clean boot" environment and if the problem did not reassert itself, start watching substantive programs which have been disabled and decide that you do permanently without.

  • Last second audio skips and repeats after upgrade 2015.3

    The question:

    Hello everyone. I just upgraded to 2015.3 and have noticed a problem since. When I made a file (file > export > "Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue") the last second or two of the audio track bounces and repeats. It's a workflow I've used for several years without problem until today.

    Troubleshooting:

    I checked triple file hearing and resulting. WAV to ensure that the question was not there. I ran the audio by itself through the SOUL and it is fine. I dropped videos I did with slightly different parameters directly in the SOUL, and it travels very well. But when I export EI by SOUL - no matter what presets that I use in SOUL - the audio Bobbles in the end.

    As an experiment I did a long model of twenty second with audio long ten seconds followed. When I made the comp, the result was interesting - even though the audio file was only ten seconds of time, the last second of the audio track repeat endlessly through all twenty seconds.

    I deleted all my _AME folders, rebooted my Mac, created a new AE comp to scrape, interrupted audio, and had made the same question. (I was kind of hoping it would be a memory issue).

    The question seems to exist that in the link between AE and SOUL, but for the life of me, I can't find a setting to shake the bug...

    Technical information:

    27-inch iMac 2011 Mid, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM, OS X El Capitan v 10.11.5. I use version 2015.3 of the creative cloud, downloaded and installed last night.

    AE Comp settings (it is not editable because the company I work for has very strict guidelines): 1920 x 858, Square Pixels, 24 frames per second, full resolution, comps are every twenty seconds.

    Parameters of the SOUL (even once, it cannot be changed according to the requirements of the company): H.264, audio and video, export 1920 x 858 (1.0) 24 fps, progressive VBR, 2 pass, target 20.00 Mbps Max 22.00 Mbps, AAFC, 256 kps, 48 kHz, stereo. The only 'effect' that we use is vital - "Normalization of loudness" using the standard ATSC A/85 (LUFS-24).

    Any help would be appreciated - my workload is very heavy and the deadlines are tight. I have a good number of files requiring rendering in the next few days...

    There is a bug in after effects CC 2015.3 (13.8) where export your composition via Adobe Media Encoder cannot make audio correctly. Audio can be repeated at the end. It's only a problem with the audio, the video is not affected.

    The After Effects team is aware of this problem and is working on a fix. Until that is available, we recommend that you either:

    • Export with audio compositions using the queue of rendering in After Effects for an intermediate file (e.g., QuickTime with the GoPro CineForm, Avid DNxHD/HR or Apple ProRes codecs) and then transcode the file in the final format using SOUL. (Look at the SOUL records are very useful for this).
    • Install After Effects and SOUL CC 2015.2 and export with audio compositions using this version of the SOUL. Project files saved by after effects CC 2015.3 are compatible with previous versions of CC 2015 (a few new features, of course, won't be available). You can either add the composition in the interface of the SOUL, or open after effects CC 2015.2 (13.7) and use the add to the command queue SOUL there.

    Our apologies regarding this bug.

    (Under the hood: the problem is with the new audio architecture, which does not take into account segment size which requires of the SOUL for audio encoding.) The length of the composition should correspond to a multiple of the segment size requested, there will be no problem, but in most cases, the length of the composition does not match a multiple of what awaits the SOUL and SOUL filled the rest with audio Rassi is still in the buffer).

  • Movie hangs or slows down and audio skips and cuts after import - please help

    Import the clip from the movie and when I play it some of it plays very well, but then it freezes and audio cuts out in various places. He plays all along as the timer works as it should but it's like the film and audio cannot follow. I played the clip in Quick time player / VLC and its fine. I am new to this software so I don't have any idea how to solve this problem. I just updated my version of Premiere Pro, so I don't know its update. I'm working on a PC. Thank you very much.

    Restart the computer and make a new project

    Trash media files.

    Rename the folder in which the clips are

    Import clips and see if it still freezes / jumps.

  • Audio skips out of sync in several places when the export of the first pro

    I have a short, 15 minute, turned to 23.976 FPS.  When I export to load in yet somehow audio jumps not synchronized to several different places.  The weird part is that in all cases there are 2 people in the scene and that a single audio out of sync breaks people.

    I went through all the audio files in the sequence in Premiere Pro (CC) and the audio fits perfectly even though I play in first.

    I checked and double checked settings FPS in first and still, as well as other parameters such as the video and audio format audio sample rate, etc., and everything is consistent.

    I'm exported from Premiere pro using the "Multimédia" option and choose MPEG2-DVD, NTSC, 720 x 480, progressive quality of 23.976 FPS, 100, CBR, target 9.00Mbps, with audio PCM, 48 Khz, stereo, 16-bit output.

    Source sequence is 1920 x 1080 (1.0), 23.976 FPS, progressive, 48000 Hz, stereo.

    I also used Media Encoder on the same sequence to create an MP4 file and that seems to come out perfectly synchronized throughout.   So, I'll try using media encoder to create a .iso file, if possible.

    I'm new to this, all the words of wisdom or of things to check would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Bobw

    Voice out of sync with the lips.  I look for "bilabials" (P, B and M) in the speech, then make sure that the sound correctly synchronizes with the lips.

    I guess we can do exactly the same with notes on an instrument if it was of expert musicians.

    In any case, I turn on the "show time audio units" and then carefully align the appropriate sound with the position of the pack language appropriate lip. Often it's 'zoom' on the frame and audio tracks and the cleaning back and forth several times.

    OK, but let's go back to my problem.  That, it turns off does not exist.  I treat so badly that I had to remove the camera and audio sound recorder and sometimes contract between the two during a audio jack.

    AND, I actually had audio out of sync by about 3 images in three different places in my sequence, in one place.   And Yes, I looked at dozens of times and convinced myself that it couldn't be my work because I had "checked" so many times.

    This was caused by a drawing of lots of last minute "tweaking" and "assume" that the settings I made did not affect the video tracks & audio following.  (HINT: it is almost always if you don't take extreme care and seems sometimes even when you do.)

    AND I also had a "nested" sequence I had absolute fits for audio, synchronize perfectly on.

    BECAUSE...   I had 'nested' video but I have NO audio with her nest.

    .... The "Lesson Learned" here is: "If your export ends with audio out of sync quit"guess"that it is impossible because of your Premiere Pro sequence is wacked"

  • Audio jumps randomly on my HP Pavilion p6310f

    HP Pavilion p6310f product # AY018AA #ABA

    Operating system is windows 7 Home premium

    The sound skips and cracks at intervals of 5 seconds at random, I went and time without it and thought it was better and all of a sudden he pops up. I have read many things on the GAL, the audio.exe file try drivers etc. Realtek is accompanying the computer so I even bought an another card (creative) sound in the hope it but no good.

    As far as I know the audio drivers are up-to-date

    Looking at a spell of latency dpc I see it stings at a time where the audio skips, but that did not help me learn anything except there's a mismatch somehow.

    I noticed that the lag occurs more frequently when I use the browsers IE or firefox and browse to a new page, but it ignores even less frequently even when I'm not internet.

    This may help someone, but after months trying to figure out what was causing the noise to jump I started searching for DPC latency and the use of monitors and finally highlighted that whenever the sound popped, I had a lag spike. I went further and got a latency monitor which has been more accurate in indicating what processes or the pilots were using. There was a little, but what I did is notice that I kept having an activity that was of fortification, then I tried to disable mcafee a firewall I used, but still it happened then what I did uninstall Mcafee completely and reinstalled and uses just the windows firewall and the sound problem is gone!
