Audio stream large

I am getting very frustrated.

I tried to stream audio for the last days in one of my applications. I've practically exhausted all resources on here to try to find a working example, and I'm at the point where I want to break my computer.

I tried a simple way of streaming by using a Media Manager, that actually worked the best for small files. The problem is when the mp3 file is more amount XXX MB (a large size, say 300mbs), I get an error 413 on the device when the streaming not WiFi.

_player = Manager.createPlayer(_source);
_player.start();

So of course, I can't use this method of media streaming.

So, I checked the demo "BufferedPlayback" - which is a nightmare in itself.

Essentially, it seems that anything in OS5 causes the ContentConnection which returns null. This is completely useless since OS5 + is that I am targeting.

Since the JDK:

           // Open the connection to the remote file
            _contentConnection = (ContentConnection) Connector.open(getLocator() + Networking.getConnectionString());

So, I was then recommended to visit streaming media "end all be all' on the BB which is here:

http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/streaming-media-start-to-finish/Ta-p/488255

Now, this example RIM uses a circular byte buffer - they do not provide a piece of code WORK for.

The example that is bound has a resize() function, but the function does not exist.

                       buffer.resize(buffer.getSize() + (buffer.getSize() * percent / 100));

So you can see where I am getting extremely fed up with these examples of non-working, or incomplete.

Can someone link me or tell me, how to stream a large mp3 file on BB without him blowing?

Thank you!

I would say that it was proposed for large files to use the WAP or WAP2.  Problems with WAP are that you will still need APN etc, but to WAP2, you should be able to use it for all networks without the APN information.  Learn about the options here WAP2

  • WTVConverter problem with multiple audio streams...

    The WTVConverter MSFT includes Windows 7 does not correctly handle multiple audio streams. The WTVConverter in the conversion of the format ".wtv' to '.dvrms' instead of keep the main audio stream retains the other stream audio visually impaired. Usually, he keeps the other stream audio visually impaired. NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles, CBS programs have this problem because they include signals SAP (accessibility for blind and partially sighted options)

    Hello, Chandra

    If you think that there should be an option to select a stream when converting, you can leave your comments on the following link:http://mymfe.microsoft.com/Windows%207/Feedback.aspx?formID=195

    In addition, you can try searching for a free replacement program convert WTV files.

  • Unable to read the audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware is not responding.

    my kids are always downloading music and other things on the internet and some without reason, I lost my sound that I get an error that there is no audio device found... or being used?  This was the last message according to test of microspft race driver and then tried to play something of my documents... (1) try reinstalling the audio drivers from the drivers disk that should
    came with your PC.
    (2) try to do a restore to the point where the problem wasn't there:
    Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore
    (3) download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.

  • How to transcribe audio streams in real-time text?

    Hello

    Currently, I listen to a live audio stream voice using Communicator Desktop WAVE on Windows XP. I want to use a voice-to-text application to transcribe this audio in Word or Excel in real time. I'm looking to reproduce the same experience as the direct subtitles on TV. I read that Windows is a speech recognition software and there are also 3 application of the part such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Is it possible to what I can achieve this?

    Thank you very much

    dambk.

    Hello

    The speech recognition software is not transcribe audio voice to text.

    You can search in your favorite search engine for the voice to transcribe text software.

  • Cannot record audio streaming - only microphone listed as peripheral.

    I can't record audio streaming because there is only listed as device micro. I checked in the recording devices, see the disabled devices Show disconnected, but there is nothing except micro it (Realtek High Definition Audio). I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the website of the manufacturer, nothing changes and I looked in the bios to see there at - it no audio devices listed and (perhaps off), but in the bios, I can't access anything except the date/time settings and password changes.

    Help! :)

    Hello JelenaJovanovic,

    Please provide the make and model of your PC. In addition, the record from the audio device or the stereo mix option is available if the sound card or audio device driver supports this option.

    You can check directly with the PC manufacturer to check if the PC audio device supports the registration of the aircraft.

    I hope this information is useful.

  • How can divide you two audio streams to the speakers and the headphones, using two separate takes?

    I am currently using windows 7 and I want to have music that fate of my speakers then I have game sounds threw my helmet. I currently have Hd Realtek Audio Driver.

    Bumping an old topic.

    I also had this works with the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
    There is an option in the settings: "do front and rear output devices play two different audio streams at the same time."
    Check it and you're good.

    It worked!  Thank you!!  I thought that I should buy a 2nd card audio to accomplish this task.  Can't thank you enough.

    And for the person looking for the option, double-click the Realtek speaker icon in the status bar.  When the window appears look on the left side, click on the pinion (Advanced Settings feature) and you'll see the option right there in the middle of the screen.  Check the box, it will reload the audio driver and you will be ready to go!

  • Detect when HTML5 audio stream started playing or failed to load

    I'm working on an application audio streaming using the HTML5 and webkit browser. I created an audio stream using code similar to the following:

    var = new Audio audio
    audio.setAttribute ("src", "url of feed to play here");
    audio. Play();

    I would like to be able to tell the user:

    (1) when the feed was loaded and gets ready to play. This is because the stream can take a long time to load and I want to inform the user that the application works.

    (2) when a feed failed to load. If the flow is interrupted for some reason, I wish to inform the user that something did not.

    Does anyone have any ideas on how I can do this?

    There are a lot of events and properties on the media items. For example, you can add an event handler for the 'mistake' to detect if the load fails. The 'loadeddata' event is raised when data is actually down. There is also an event of 'progress', but I have not much used. There is an event of 'game '.

    I'd be a little careful about the assumptions of State - for example I would not be surprised if the press started playing before being fully charged. Seems to me the type of optimization that someone might throw together

    So I threw the following test code.

    appstart = function() {
        var main = document.getElementById("main");

        var b = document.createElement("button");
        var t = document.createElement("div");
        var a = document.createElement("audio");
        b.innerHTML = "Play";
        b.addEventListener("click", function() {
            a.addEventListener("timeupdate", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Played "+a.currentTime+" of " + a.duration + "";
            });
            a.addEventListener("progress", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Progress";
            });
            a.addEventListener("load", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Load";
            });
            a.addEventListener("error", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Error";
            });
            a.addEventListener("playing", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Playing";
            });
            a.addEventListener("stalled", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Stalled";
            });
            a.addEventListener("loadeddata", function() {
                t.innerHTML += "Loaded";
            });
            a.src="long.mp3";
            a.play();
        },0);
        main.appendChild(a);
        main.appendChild(b);
        main.appendChild(t);

  • Not able to record audio streaming as "what you hear" option is missing from Windows 7.

    Original title: return to xp from w7 I need the internal registration option

    I bought a computer laptop compaq 615 with w7pro installed on it.  I have since discovered that for some reason any microsoft removed internal records "what you hear" function so I now can not record audio streaming and cannot also sound route from one program to another, which, as I'm involved in music, is something I have to do.  for example, I wanted to send audio from ableton live to visualjockey but w7 doesn't let me do that. I wanted to also allows you to record with camstudio but w7 will not realize any record audio.  It seems really stupid and now I can't do a lot of things I used to do on my old laptop with xp

    is there a way to get around this? I'm using the latest drivers.  If I reinstall xp on this laptop is going to find the "what you mean the feature? or y at - there a patch or something that I can use Microsoft?

    Thank you very much

    My understanding is that stereo mix is only available on some sound cards. You can try the steps on this wire to turn on the stereo mix:
    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itpromedia/thread/73415150-ec9b-44EA-8119-a2ea4f901ca0

    If you don't see it after showing devices disabled and disconnected, it is possible that an update of the driver of the manufacturing may add this feature in the future.

  • Audio stream

    Alrighty, so I dela final version (1.0.1) of waiting for the flash Sound class be properly supported with streaming audio, but still I get no sound, are there other means of audio stream / access raw audio data?

    It works fine on office air, right on the real playbook, because no sound...

    I'm basically just loading a url into a Sound object request.

    That is to say:

    soundChannel = soundObject.play();
    tunerController = soundChannel.soundTransform;
    tunerController.volume = volumeSlider.value;
    soundChannel.soundTransform = tunerController;
    audioIsStreaming = true;

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Just found things, seems the Sound API is not fully supported, but I managed to use the MediaPlayer... will see if I can hook up the SoundMixer...

  • Multiple audio stream switching in Win7/WMP12

    Hello.

    I have a bunch of home movies I took with a 1394 camera and recorded on the PC.  I have used DivX to compress these films and my wife overlay a second audio track of Chinese for Grammy can watch movies.

    Previously, I used WMP 9 to play movies and used Morgan Stream Switcher to allow audio to pass (it was quite a thing to learn at the Grammy Awards to right-click).

    Now with Win7 and WMP12, I don't know how to change the audio stream.  Reading, two audio streams are superimposed and I hear Chinese and English both at the same time.   I googled around the internet and binged this site and do not have too much success, just stuff of DirectX, but nothing useful.  It seems that Morgan stopped supporting its flow selector in WMP10, so I don't know if it works or not, or is now by WMPv12 there is finally an embedded solution.  There is another shark codecs pack that seems to resolve the issue, so this may be a limitation of codec in Win7/DirectX/Wmp12.

    We'd appreciate clues.

    Hi DumasaRock,

    There are several third party plugins to tour the market. You may need to search for a third-party plugin using your favorite search engine and support for the codec to go with it because there is no embedded solution to Windows Media Player 12 on this issue.

    Just as there was Morgan Stream Switcher to allow the passage of audio streams in Windows Media Player 9 with Windows XP, I'm sure there will be a third-party plugin for this one as well.

  • cannot record audio streams in Win 8 pRO

    I can't save the audio streaming to Win 8 using any software... Sound forge (updated driver) Audacity (just installed as test) and your 'recorder '... They will all be the record of a microphone but not reading.  The file should be saved to HD and then it can be played using the media player... Also I can't use the built-in DVD/CD device, he continually tells me to insert a disk... My external HP dvd1040 works very well, but this is not the point...  These two problems may be related? ... In the Device Manager it tells me the CD/DVD unit is not plugged in and there is several HDMI and S/PDIF devices that show not plugged... From time to time, it (they) change... Sometimes, the Device Manager shows four items sometimes ten to twelve, more unplugged... Leave a clean install, not an upgrade, Vista (update, at the time), I have Win 8 Pro...

    Maybe your outdated software and is not compatible with Windows 8? Try this audio streaming recorder

    It works like a charm with Windows 8 and 10.

  • Sound preview audio stream starts beginning rather than at the current position in the timeline

    I have an audio stream which I'm doing an animation. After working for a while, especially later in the video (like 2 minutes or more). audio will not play at the position, I'm in the workspace and rather play early instead. It is therefore impossible to work efficiently synchronize audio animation.

    I tried with several computers and sound cards, and I get the same behavior.

    What is going on? Is this a known bug?

    Yes, it is a known problem in Windows. I have reason to believe that it will be corrected in the next update to Flash Pro. Don't know when this will be.
