  1. This has to do with the box model. If you were to apply the margin on page #-wrap, the division would be 20 PX (10 + 10) wider. Have a look here http://paulirish.com/2012/box-sizing-border-box-ftw/ just use

  at the beginning of your CSS. This will eliminate having to use the second container.

  As another note, there is a container called body that you can use instead of #page online purchase. This will remove both of the divisions

  2. I use only classes except when it is necessary to isolate a single element. The latter might be true when I want to manipulate the DOM using JS.

• Fix for content page styles?

  I am a novice user of IDcs6. I formatted a book with several chapters. on the content page, I want to have two fonts of different sizes in the same paragraph. for example the chapter number and title in 1 fonts size 1 and the subtitle on the following line in the font and size 2, followed by a broader attack before the next chapter title. My original text is in Word, but ID won't import the line spacing in Word or two fonts. What Miss me? I have class in the book, but can not see relevant lesson. Is it available in the styles of character and paragraph or make separate for each line text boxes and interest? Anyone know a YouTube tutorial that might help?

  I don't use automatic TOC - six onlt entered and the fonts are different as the chapter headings. I insert the page numbers manually.

• How can I disable auto resizing of tabs?

  I love Firefox, but the one that drives me crazy behavior is auto resizing of tabs. I would like to choose a size for the tabs and that the browser to stick at that size for all tabs.

  Ideally I'd like to achieve this without having to install the extensions for the browser. If anyone can help?

  FYI, I use the latest version of Firefox (27.0.1) on a Mac, under the last Mavericks (10.9.2). I tend to keep everything up-to-date.

  Nevermind, I figured it. If someone else asks:

  • In your URL bar, type "subject: config" without the quotes.
  • In the 'search' field upstairs bar, type "tabs".
  • Search for "browser.tabs.animate." By default, the value is set to 'true '. Double-click it, which must be set to "false".

  The value 'false' should fix auto (incredibly annoying) tab resizing. Now, you can continue to use Firefox and enjoy tabs without continuous frustration.

• Cannot change the table of Contents Page icons in RH10

  I adapted successfully table of Contents Page icons in the previous versions, but in RH10, option seems to be missing. After past the method as well as help boards & Forums, I have pod TOC page right-click, choose Properties, Advanced tab, but once there all I see are the image and comment options. There is no option to change the icon of the automobile to a different style in a drop-down list (because I expected to see under Advanced). My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. Either by the way, I used this feature in the past to indicate a subject that has new features or topics of a different nature.

  When you look at your single Source Layouts pod, which is the main provision on?

  If it is not configured for Microsoft HTML Help, find this layout and right click. Then propose that it be the main provision. Once you do this, I'd be willing to bet a dollar against a doughnut that you will now see the option to change the icons.

  Hello! I wanted to you guys give some more information about the use of sketches.

  I wanted to do a project where I could take a high-resolution picture and superimpose a drawn character in this "scene / photograph.»

  My photo was taken in high resolution with a digital SLR. I was working on a sketch on my Mac Pro in Photoshop. I dropped it in the CC for I can access it on my ipad and continue working on my sketch while I was on the road.

  I noticed that I could not import my photoshop PSD file layers in Photoshop sketch. It is important that the image being merged.

  Are there plans to make this a feature to keep the separate layers? It would be AMAZING that you can do (even if you only limited to a few layers, I don't mind!) Little is better than nothing!)

  Secondly, I also noticed that the original file was 4128 x 2322 pixel, and when I brought in the sketch, it auto - resizes (without letting me know?!) at 2048 x 1536 pixels...

  Is there a way that I was at least able to keep the original in the future if size at least I can work on stuff in a new layer and when I'm home and back to Photoshop, so at least I know it will be the right size?

  There will be a solution for this?

  Are also do you do cancel button and add a button to roll forward / ability?

  I know a lot of people would really like it. Like most things, there are a lot of things for the product team to consider before this feature will be brought to the app. But, it is envisaged, is certainly not out of the question. I have just no idea when (or even if) it's going to happen. I would like to have more information for you.

  I thought that's what you hear on Undo/Redo, but I wanted to make sure before answering. There is an Undo icon (I pasted a screenshot below), and if you press and hold down on it, the forward icon. There is also, in this same menu, a calendar icon where you can scroll backwards 50 steps in your drawing (Please be very careful with cancellations and the function of the timeline. If you make a mark on the screen after going on the timeline, it will substitute all your work. You will get a warning that you are about to delete all of your features, but many people ignore the alert and lose their jobs. So be careful.)

• Resize all pages in a PDF to the same dimensions (height, width)

  I have a big PDF file of several hundred pages in which all the pages have slightly different dimensions. I want to resize these pages in such a way that they will all have the same dimensions. I tried to do it with the crop in Acrobat tool, but if I get all pages in one fell swoop, the resulting dimensions of the page will always be the same for all pages. I can't get page dimensions the same if I harvest each page separately, which is not really fun to do with a 300-page document. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to do this in one fell swoop? I can always crop (rare) pages that do not perfectly match thereafter.

  You can print to the Adobe PDF printer to a desired page size, but it will flatten your PDF & the other option is going to be trimming the PDF file.

  The result is that Adobe does not provide any software to defeat the security of a PDF file. If the creator of the PDF file set to this level of security, intentionally or not, that's what it is! The solution to your problem is to go to the creator of the document and ask the password or an unprotected PDF file version.

• VMware workstation 11 and Windows 10 build 9926 auto resizing does not

  Problem I have is in the guest operating system (win 10).  I can not auto resize the guest to fit the window (now Vmware worksation, opinion, comments made.  It flashes on the full screen, then goes back to the resolution that it is.  I'm stuck at the Windows gives me resolutions.

  I know that this version comes out today.  But I thought I'd give you guys a heads up.

  Build 10074 works!

  So, I did a clean install of the new generation (10074).  Workstation makes easy installation on it.  During the easy setup process, it didn't install VMWare tools, but I see the tools have been installed.  I tried to re-size that the screen with 3D powered acceleration; and it worked!

  This issue is finally resolved. !

  Pages wide you need to tax a plugin or script in Acrobat.

  Alternatively, you can print them on the Adobe PDF printer using the desired page size, well that which will remove all the file contains metadata (bookmarks, fields, comments, etc.).

• Table of contents - page automatic update of numbers possible?

  As a typographer, I generate the table of contents, all the time. That is, if there are significant changes to the book in the final stages of verification that paging can be shaken around. When this happens I find myself to update the table of contents by hand.

  There must be a way to automate that.

  I guess some kind of variable text that I place on the content page that is related to an anchor any on the page in question that just returns a number of page this anchor is located. If this page is moved the page automatically updated content. (This would have to happen in the whole of files: the issue head-on with the content on the subject is usually a different .ind file as the content of the body.)

  Is there something like this in InDesign? If this isn't the case, in InDesign basis, nobody knows about a script or plugin that would do this?

  The standard TOC requires intervention to update (layout > TOC update...). If you manually generate using cross references, it will update automatically as you work. The downside is it's more work to implement, and x - Ref is known to be unstable through several files in a book.

  I like how the content reacts when scrolling. I can make a frame with scroll base but cannot find out how other managers to react. I was wondering if it was at edge or HTML, but then how they make specific clickable pages with the magazine? I'm sure theres a simple, yet clever tip in overlays that can be used.

  This isn't a DPS application. Looks like they use some kind of Objective-C for that. I searched on their application with PhoneDisk, and I don't see any html file in the content page.

  This is not to say that you can not do this via HTML - certainly, you should be able to.

  Personally, though, I think it's sloppy. Why other sections should scroll when I try to scroll in one?

  Hi all.  I abook on the road with a main content page. However, one of the documents in this book I want to separate content, but she insists of the whole book.

  Is it possible to have just the document I'm in content?

  Also this forum high right cheek on my mac, starting a new discussion has taken time as the pop up has simply refused to do so, in safari and chrome. And when moves around, tapping the page!

  In the Table of contents dialog box make sure that include book Documents is disabled.
