AutoCAD LT 2004, Windows 7
When you copy an item using X, coordinates and ORTHO, for example 0, -50 mode, the copy is found to the left and below the original. Even if used 0.50, the copy is in the same area. Can someone please help. Is it to do with the UCS, WCs, etc.?

I use AutoCad LT 2004 in my consulting business, and it worked fine under Windows 7 RC. When I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit is no longer works. The event handler says it's incompatible. That's happened? I can't afford to upgrade to a newer version, since it costs more than $1,200. Help, please.
Hi Driftwood42,
AutoCAD LT 2004 is supported by the following operating systems: Microsoft Windows XP (Professional, home edition, or Tablet PC Edition), Windows 2000
However, try to install this program in Windows XP compatibility mode that should be in this work programme.
1. Once you download the program on the Windows 7 computer, right click on the iconof the program .
2. click on Properties , then Compatibility tab.
3. now put check Mark for run this program in Compatibility Mode for and select Windows XP SP2 by clicking on the menu drop down.
4. click on apply , and then click OK.You can use the program compatibility Wizard before you install the program.

How to install AutoCAD 2007 on Windows 7?
I recently bought a new system to upgrade to 64-bit with Windows 7 (home edition). I would like to install an AutoCAD program on the new computer. Preference of AutoCAD 2007 ((j'ai les versions R14 et 2007))
I do not own or operate a business, and my use of AutoCAD does not generate income, so it is not profitable to run out and buy a new copy of AutoCAD, whenever it is updated (GETS expensive). Running out and purchase Autodesk - AutoCAD 2010 is therefore not an option.
So what can I do to circulate and operate one of these two versions of AutoCAD on this new system? ((I really need to do market.)) < pulls="" hair=""> > I thought conversion on Windows 7 XP would be GREAT... but NOW I'm starting to regret!
Hello phnx428,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
The site of AutoCad:
Both 32-bit and 64-bit AutoCAD® and AutoCAD LT® 2010 2010 are compatible and supported on Microsoft Windows® 7.Autodesk does not officially support the versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2009 and older on Windows 7. If you choose to run older versions of AutoCAD on the Windows 7 operating system, you can opt to use the Windows compatibility mode.
I would try to install in Compatibility Mode for XP or Vista. If you have an older application for Windows XP or Vista, which does not work in Windows 7, you can make it work properly by running the program in compatibility mode.
1. to start, find the application or the shortcut which is the cause of the problem, and then right-click on it and select Properties.
2. then, select compatibility in the menu tabs at the top of the properties page:
3. now check the box run this program in compatibility mode "dethrone" and select the operating system you want to emulate. For most applications, this will be Windows XP SP2. Once you are finished, click OK.
4. When you then run the application, it must run under compatibility using the OS mode you have selected. If it runs properly, try another selection of OS in step 3, and then try again.I hope that this will help solve your problem. If this isn't the case, you will need to communicate with AutoCad to see if there is no work around.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

Hello
I need to install AutoCad 2009 on Windows 7 Home Premium, which I am unable to do. Can I get a solution as soon as POSSIBLE for the same?
I also read in the forums that if I switch to Windows 7 Professional, I would be able to run the installation of AutoCAD in XP compatible mode. Kindly update me on the same.
I use Asus K61IC notebook PC series and would also support the upgrade.

AutoCad 2006 running slow on Windows 7.
Original title: AutiCad 2006 running on Windows 7
AutoCad 2006 on Windows 7 slow course. I usually run 2006 on Windows XP without any problem. You have a solution?
Hello
AutoCad 2006 is compatible with Windows 7.
Method 1: It is possible that any software third is at the origin of the conflict, run the software to the clean boot and see if that helps.
Reference:
A clean boot to test if any element of service or third party application startup is causing this issue.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: When you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.
Method 2: As it works very well under Windows XP, try to run the program in Windows XP compatibility mode and see if that helps.
See the following steps:
(a) right click on the icon of Autocad.
(b) click Properties, click compatibility.
(c) select the compatibility mode for Windows XP (service Pack 3).
(d) click OK.
(e) to run the program.
If the methods above do not help, you can contact Autocad for additional help.

I use Windows 8 (default OS in my pc - Samsung NP550P5C), but when the Autocad installation, Windows Installer V 5.0.9200.16384 box appears, and then the entire installation fails.
Hi all
I did install AutoCAD 2009 on Windows 8.1 after you change the msi files and Setup and it works fine.
The idea is to remove all tests of the version of the OS during installation process.

I have the Virtual PC 2004 (Windows 95) mainly of records in Microsoft Money v 3. I'm impossible to personally adapt to later versions of money.
The last time I opened the Virtual PC to add information to the registration of money, all the programs have disappeared. Fortunately, I had copy backup of the money on a floppie drive, so the problem is partially supported. What could have or did happen to the content of this Virtual PC?Hey Evan,

Is - this Windows 7 autodesk AutoCadd2002 suport?
Windows 7 has a collation of features, allowing it to run programs designed for earlier versions?
Hi Rdrak8718,
Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forum.
AutoCAD 2002 is built for the desktop environment Microsoft® Windows®, including Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows NT® 4.0.
Versions the most recent as AutoCAD 2010 are supported in Windows 7.
However, backward compatibility in Windows 7 is a great feature that allows applications designed for older versions of Windows to work perfectly under Windows 7.
Note: There is no guarantee this will to autocad 2002 with Windows 7 in compatibility mode.
You can always try it on your computer. To configure the compatibility mode for an application
(1) locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe, selecting Properties from the menu.
2) click on the Compatibility tab:
(3) you can choose to run the program in Windows Vista or Windows XP compatibility mode, or even all the way back to Windows 95 compatibility.
I hope that answers your question.
Kind regards
