He suggested that I call Dell - the product is out of warranty, so they won't do anything without recharging.   It is very rare that the system prevent access to such a degree that you can reach even the approved methods of activation. And a Normal relocation usually gives you the time to all features (30 days) before resorting to the reduced functionality because it has not been activated - and even reduced feature allows you to access enough to be able to activate.   in any case, I activated my windows key 7 on my hard drive, but I opted for one SSD drive, a week later and went to put Windows on the SSD.   Aiinstalle the product on the SSD, but he told me that the product key is invalid, which I thought was due to have it always on the HARD drive.  I thought that I only had windows and a game on the hard drive, so I formatted it.  I tried again with the product key, but it still wasn't valid.  I started watching online solutions to this, and the only option I had yet to try using the phone activation.  When I go to the prompt for activation, however there is no option for the activation of the phone?

  Wow, never mind. The product key is very difficult to read, and even if I watched more than 30 times to ensure that I wrote the correct key, it took 31 tries to get account that maybe Z is actually a 7. Worked. No problems. Guess that's what they say, 31st time's the charm
