AVCHD video

I do a lot of editing AVCHD video and MTS files.  Should I be editing them just as they are in first or can I use the media encoder to change them to another format?  The issue I'm having is that the video seems not as bright in Adobe when I change it as it does when I play the video in Windows Media Player or on the camera.  Thank you.

First editions native mts. Make sure that the reading is set to full.

Copy the whole map on hard drive and ingest via Media Browser.

  • Photoshop CS6 do not play or process files Audio Dolby Digital (AC-3) of my AVCHD video files.

Photoshop CS6 Extened do not play or process files Audio Dolby Digital (AC-3) of my AVCHD video files. The video plays fine just no sound at all. When processing still no sound. Is there audio codecs (AC-3) I can download and install. How do I install them. Do I need to convert audio files to another format & if so how & what format.

    Thank you

You need to run your files through a conversion as Adobe Media Encoder, or even splice on the audio tool to separate WAV files by opening it up in the hearing. Otherwise, you can of course try as brake conversion tools at hand or MPEGStreamclip but AC3 CoDec trade involving granting licenses fees, there may be limits. Under these conditions, the smart solution is to choose another audio format in your device photo in the first place, is the settings to avoid all these steps, if possible. The AAC standard commonly used for STROKE / H.264 recording or audio MP3 would be much less annoying for further processing.

  • Toshiba Camileo H30 problem with conversion of avchd video files

    Hello

I have Toshiba Camileo H30-camera, how do I convert video files saved in FullHD mode in any format/good quality files that can be read by a DVD player?

When you left unconverted, they can't even read from the remote hard drive connected to the TV.
I know that his camera records videos in the form of AVCHD files with h264, but have no idea how can I covert them to any format reasonable and recently used.

I tried some converters, but no positive effect.

    Help, please!

    Hello

You can use converter like AVCHD Converter applications.
This would convert AVCHD files to .avi format.

But AFAIK the VLC Player should support the AVCHD file format and you could use VLC player to play movies recorded in this format.

  • Lightroom 3 does not recognize my AVCHD video

My Panasonic camera records videos AVCHD (.mts or .m2ts). Lightroom 3 does not recognize this as video. I wish I could download and catalog with LR3. Is there a way to get around this?

You can wait until LR recognizes AVCHD, you can convert AVCHD to something more standard like mp4, or you can try any plugin file.

  • Canon AVCHD video choppy/out of sync with audio on PE8

I imported several videos of our new Canon camcorder; they look great on Windows Media Player and Adobe Bridge.  But when I play them in PE8 video is hesitant and jerky, although the sound seems fine.   My daughter has made great videos with PE8 and other video sources as well as photos and she also has no idea why this problem occurs with my videos from Canon.  Also located on my 64-bit Windows 7 PC CS4 and Lightroom 2.  All I want is a simple way to edit my videos and add photos and then the CD, and I can't seem to access the first base on PE8.  Thanks for any idea.

What is the Preset project chosen for the source of the layer of this new camera footage? It should be HD AVCHD and you also want to match the Audio settings with the Audio setting on the camera. A lot of AVCHD cameras can be set to record in Dolby Digital 5.1 SS, and if you have the other, you want also to be selected. Your project Preset should match your footage source 100%, or you will encounter problems.

My guess is that you are still using the old project preset, and the new camera, it will take another. When this is done, you should have a red line above the Clips in the timeline, and the reading must be very smooth and synchronized.

    Good luck

PS - AVCHD material takes a lot of CPU to deal with power. It takes at least a Quad-core processor, and a fast i7 is even better. What is your CPU speed and the Core count?

  • AVCHD video on Mac computer

I use a RX100 II. When I shoot the video in the AVCHD 17 M 60i format and import it in Aperture (Apple who manages photos and video program), there are fine horizontal lines every time as the camera pans.

24I 17 M seems to work, but is a smaller file and so, I assume, has less detail. As I am doing domestic architectural, detail is important. (I guess that MP4 is the quality less.)

As you can guess, I have very little expxerience with the video side of things. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Brent

I have experimented with the M3 RX100. I use the same encoding of 17 M 60i and they also show horizontal lines / interlacing in Apple Aperture. However, QuickTime player works well (and can open and navigate to the master file AVCHD camera card). I can also open my iMovie Aperture library, and movie files play well in iMovie. So, this seems to be a problem isolated to the opening.

    I'm on Aperture 3.5.1

  • Windows Media Center/player will not play my AVCHD videos

I have a Canon Vixia HF R300 that came with a CD-ROM utility transfer, but not with the video ver.2 (Pixela) browser, which is supposed to work with my camera, but does not come with it and I can't find a download for it. I was able to transfer videos on my computer but not able to watch videos, much less edit. My videos have been saved in a folder called TVD_AVCHD, then in separate folders with .cpi and .mts 'pages' and a separate JPEG image. I tried to click on all of these files and used Windows Media Center and Media Player, but it says that no videos not found. Help, please. I know that my videos are okay because I can visualize in my camcorder and my TV.

    Thank you!

I guess you have to experiment... Try different media

  • Questions of workflow with the AVCHD video

I copied the entire contents of an SDHC card which was shot with an AVCHD camera to a folder on my desktop. I just use the media browser in CS6 to double-click files to view. I just Final Cut Pro where I had to convert all these Pro Res 422 files before you can edit them.

    1. simply leave the contents of this file, as it is? I have to do something for the files before changing them? So if I start to edit clips from this map after their opening in the media browser and assemble clips in my calendar and then export it, is that all I have to do?

    2. If Yes, number 1, then after every shoot I would simply copy the entire contents of a card in a folder on my hard drive and just leave it there until I'm readt to change it, and after that I changed the folder structure and the content of the map remain the same?

    Thank you.

This may cause problems with the rest of the contents of the card to work?

If you do not erase?  No, this is why not to delete is recommended.  Keep the complete folder structure intact, with all content intact.

  • How to integrate images into Premiere Pro shot of AVCHD video camera?

    Hi all experts out there.

I bought a Canon camcorder that records in AVCHD format on an SD card.

My Mac computer has an SD card reader.

It is, how to import the captured images on the SD card in first pro?

    Thank you

Copy the entire map SD (including folders) on your hard disk and then use the media browser to navigate through the folder structure. Once you open the folder PRIVATE with Mo, will prove all the clips and you can drag into your project.

  • AVCHD video mixing with hdv in a project

I recently bought the Sony HXR - NX5U AVCHD and CS5.  I'm getting used to the time.  I have the Sony z7u, who recorded in the HDV format.  What is the logical workflow for combining images in a project without losing good image quality (ie. can I combine on a timeline?).

    Thank you

    Lisa

CS5 supports multiple formats in the same timeline. Simply drag your timeline and presto, ready to go.

  • Import and editing of AVCHD in CS4 video sequences with a 32-bit Windows computer

I have a question about AVCHD video:

We have some AVCHD (.mts) sequences, we filmed with a Sony HXR-NX30.

Is it possible to import, edit and export (on DVD) this sequence ".mts" with Premiere CS4 in a reasonable quality?

I have a 32-bit windows computer, and want to know before you buy such a video editing program.

    Thank you

    Rob

    Never found CS4 buggy.

You can import avchd in CS4, but being on a machine 32 bits edition will be slow.

You will have to restore everything in the timeline.

  • AVCHD with first Elements 8 video file will not advance or reward

I just finished an AVCHD video project in first 8 and I can't fast forward or rewind the file on my computer with Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center. The file plays great but it's annoying to watch it from beginning to end for 45 minutes.

I have a Vixia HF S20 - the video format of the originals was ACHD. After completing the draft edition, I chose to save it to my PC (a Dell Inspiron 8100 with I5 - so much power awailable) as an MPEG file. I noticed that this format was the one who gave me the possibility to record video in H.264 1920x1080i 30 preset.

The rendering of the video took about 3 hours. He recorded the video in the AVCHD format and playback on my computer screen, it just seems like it should - quality HD - but the lack of controls, it's really, really stupid!

In any case, I need help to understand what is happening here. I did something wrong? Are there other record settings/presets to choose who keep HD quality, I'm not aware of?  Thanks in advance to 1 million!

Well, if you're against WMP, it might be that pre could have done something differently.

Now, I'm not a fan of WMP and not a fan REALLY of RealMedia Player. I compare this one to a Trojan horse, that had to happen. Finally, I had a version about 12 years ago and would never let another close copy one of my computers.

In addition to the two that I mentioned, GOM Player gets high marks, as well.

    Good luck
