avg rootkit removal 8

My avg found enough rootkits (600 to be exact), but when I try to remove my laptop crashes as well my avg software seizes 8 upwards? I followed some indications here, but have had no luck? I also s Malwarebyte which does not pick up one of these kits from root to the top... ?

When I type in the temporary hidden leader in the search bar, I find a lot of unknown files and also juice entered something, following the instructions of an answer on another post and I found around 5 different... hikey records or what ever

What is the best solution to get these from my laptop until they destroy it

Hello

Rootkits can simply be deleted to remove. The problem is that they are active and related system processes. They must be removed when idle. This means before loading them (ie: Windows), or by scanning a disk infected in another system.

If you have the means, remove the disc and it slave in another system. Analyze the inactive player there to remove infectious files.

If not, try a tool like TDSSKiller for help: http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684 it can generally identify the problem and remove it when the system is restarted before loading.

  • Alureon Rootkit bar me bad. HELP Please!

Hello dear users of Windows. This is my first post here, because the problem is so serious that even I could not remove it (or I don't know I did).

    Problem:

I was infected by the famous Alureon rootkit.

    Reason:

I think it has been updated for Windows. I updated Windows 2 months ago, and after it had to restart windows. I restarted windows and it loads perfectly, but when I click on Internet Explorer to make sure that no new updates, my computer was attacked by at least 10-13 virus/worms. My AV-> Avast! Internet Security is crazy, it was like: a thread has been detected, was detected a thread, a thread has been detected, a thread has been detected so I did not wait for him to remove them I was very shocked so I emidietly restart the computer. It's my BIGGEST mistake. After reboot avast cleaned a few worms in the temporary folders, but these verses have been just a small fry. The real deal is that Alureon that injected somewhere

    Symptoms:

-L' massive attack on Internet Explorer.

-Blue screens of death at startup pointing to important system files, windows will load after reboot of the 5th.

-Sometimes I get Restrictions folders-> your security current settings do not allow you... blah blah (change of the configuration)

What I used to optimize the pc and remove the errors & virus (Optimizors):

    -Win XP Optimizer: 4 times

    -Error Repair Professional: 4 times

-Speed UP My PC: 4 times

    -PC Health Advisor: 4 times

    -Driver Scanner: 4 times

    -CCleaner: 4 times

    -Registry Mechanic: 4 times

    -Advanced System Optimizer: 4 times

    -Your Uninstaller: 4 times

    -HiJackThis: 2 times

-Malicious Microsoft Software Removal Tool: 2 times

    - Avast! Internet Security: 1 all the discs, normal, max and 1 System Boot Scan

I tried stuff even more (they are my usual optimizers)... nothing

    I want to add:

It is a lot worse then it sounds at first. He even tried some of my ACC, even now, all that remains are the blue screens at startup. Avast! Security is one of the best AV out there it scans everything that happens and I have no notification of rootkits since it happened. I know he's hiding it's self, but I can't even see it running in the Task Manager... I guess it runs only until windows loads... PLEASE HELP ME!

    P.S.:

-Formatting the drives, reinstall Windows, updated for Windows Vista/7 or Linux or any other operating system are not an option.

@joelj1964 - Yah... Thanks for nothing...

@ GTS - NJ - UM, um, that I realized, he could not be Alureon, BUT DID I had put it to day in-depth Windows and Yes, I did managed to remove it.

    Here's how I did it:

I turned on Avast! Shields of Internet Security to the MAX

I Ran Kaspersky Lab tool for rootkits, it finds only c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys locked

Other rootkit removal tools I ran were Buster of Sopshos Anti-Rootkit, Gmer, Rootkit, Rootkit Revealer.

They found a large number of infected files sys I removed and restered with those in SafeMode (sfc/scannow) clean (I have not found in a big box store so the stuff above... I am my only computer scientist, sorry = /)

A ran my default optimizers and updated many drivers restore those infected

Results: System running faster, faster start-up, there wasn't No 10/05/20 system restarts before loading windows-online WINDOWS 10 LATEST UPDATES ACT AS THEY have not been INSTALLED.

My Question: When the windows updates will be safe for users of Windows XP new :((

I thank very you much for the replies!

  • Remove virus Win32/Protected.Fm

My system is infected with a virus attached to my WinLogon file. According to my AVG Virus Remover it is white listed which means that the program cannot be removed because it is essential to the operation of the computer. How can I do to remove it manually. I'm reluctant to simply restore my computer if I use Microsoft Office widely and have my discs (they were lost in a substantive motion) and don't have hundreds of dollars to replace.

This virus also affects the recognition of my hard drive. I tried to load a new malware fighter and he told me that he could not find the E drive, my hard drive is D.

    Hello

    Method 1.
I highly recommend to run a Scan of Virus online.

Sometimes the security program installed might not be fair enough. I also recommend you update your security software regularly.

    a. follow the link below to start the free online scan:
    http://OneCare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

    b. run the malware removal tool from Microsoft.

    Method 2.
In addition, you should consider the steps that are listed in the article below for disk drive.

  • Vista Sidebar and Media Player stopped working after uninstalling Mcafee and AVG installation

Hi, I'm new to the Dell Forums, my apologies if this isn't the right place to post this.

Yesterday, I decided to remove Mcafee completely from my Inspiron 6400 (running Vista Ultimate) and install the free version of AVG. First, I downloaded the http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=107083&lc=1033 and AVG Mcafee removal tool and was save on my desktop. I unplugged my internet connection, uninstalled Mcafee Security Center of programs & features (recommended by Mcafee), rebooted, then ran Mcafee Removal Tool Development. EXE, rebooted, installed the free version of AVG, went online and installed the AVG updates, performed a full scan with no errors. The system seems to work well, but then I noticed that the clock on Windows Sidebar gadget turned black, the deleted with only a yellow box calendar gadget. I tried to open Media Player, no luck because he would not just open. Tried to launch Media Player as an admin, no luck. While my connection is an admin one. There is another connection admin account so connected to this account, but you have the same problem. I did a system restore and also tried to create new accounts, but the same thing happens with the Gadgets and Media Player. I also ran startup repair by using the Vista DVD, no luck.

Did somebody encountered this problem? There is an almost similar post under Vista (http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=vista&message.id=41524&query.id=225388#M41524), but no solution. I had a feeling this uninstallation of Mcafee or running the Development. EXE may have messed up with the registry keys for the sidebar and Media Player. I also downloaded another gadget clock, no luck. Y at - it a fix for this? I don't want to install Mcafee again, as I had many problems with MCProxy and Spamkiller causing system crash and Mcafee has no solution so far. I also have spybot running on the system.

I would appreciate if someone could help me with this. Thank you

  • I was told that AVG (of virus) is not good.

I was told not to keep AVG (virus removal) because that was bad. is this true?  I was told to REMOVE ALL THE OF moy. I clicked on AVGx2 on the desktop and there is no option to uninstall it. SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT TO DO?

    Hello michelle.e.TH,

AVG anti virus is definitely not bad. As others have said, there are 'better' anti anti-virus there applications (not Norton or McAfee).

Of course, if you use Windows 8 then unnecessary AVG that you already have Windows Defender. It is also an anti virus / anti-Malware application.

AVG can be easily uninstalled via the screen of programs and features in Control Panel. Just look for the AVG entry in the list programs, click on it and it should start to uninstall.

    Hello

If you use Norton, AVG, Avira, Microsoft Security Essentials, McAfee, etc. the default action is for Windows Defender must be disabled, that these AntiVirus programs have their own Antispyware Applications.

    There is nothing to worry.

Using both programs at the same time can cause system conflicts, etc.

  • Infected by a dangerous virus! (inline hook win32k.sys)

Hello. I have a 64-bit windows computer 7. My computer has been acting strangely, so I checked my computer for infections and viruses with AVG free anti-virus. He picked up the so-called inline hook win32k.sys and he couldn't remove it from my computer. It's amazing how AVG always deletes and secures the threat automatically when parsing. This virus, it wasn't able to do. I need help to remove this threat from my computer because it is really dangerous. Here is a link to more about the virus:
