Is my pc completely clean and safe?

On the 31 security essentials microsoft picked up a Trojan horse and deleted successfully, how can I know it disappeared completely and my pc is 100% clean. I ran checks with microsoft essentials security, AVG, Avast, Malwarebytes, Spybot search and destroy, microsoft software windows malware removal tool, Microsoft Safety Scanner rootkit remover (from McAfee) TDSSKiller (kaspersky), gum power of Norton and Norton security scan over some other utilities to remove some common viruses (just in the water). and they all said that my system is clean. My pc is not slowing down and nothing suspicious has happened. I just want to be very sure there at - it measures I can take. I have a laptop that runs on Win 7

Thanks in advance

I think you already summer extra extra extra safe

you do. Just boot from the CD and follow the prompts for a

  • How to install drivers lost after complete cleaning and installation of xp?

I was given a ze5170 Pavilion older to use as support for a system to work.  He has problems.  It has been completely wiped clean (HD) and had Windows XP Pro installed.  None of the quick work keys, volume up / down / mute are not displayed on the screen.

I would like to re - install the drivers but can't seem to locate them as stand-alone dll or exe download.  HP Driver Detective does not load, error 'cannot initialize' so can not go this route.

Clues as to where I can get independent drivers?

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Can I charge a completely 'clean' version with nothing of the past have been postponed. I've been hacked and do not want to get Vorstan automatically on my system? Thank you

I've been infected with Vorstran (or Vorstan?) several months ago. I would like to reload Firefox now that I have everything straightened out on my computer, but in the past when I had to reload Firefox, all my old bookmarks, is back. (They must be registered to load for me next time I keep to recharge?) Not wanting to put Vorstran on a reload, I was hesitant to try to reload when it arrives, it infects all browsers, crushes my backups and usually locks in the system, I can get a completely clean version of Firefox to load to start over completely? I don't want to bring something to the front of the past at all. No book mark, bookmarks, folders, nothing. Do somehow so I can finally again use my favorite browser? My old email which is now closed, has been "[email protected]. I had to change to the current "[email protected]". How to get a completely clean version of firefox? Thank you

  • Completely clean a 10.11.6 iMac

I plan to replace my iMac (2011) by a Pro iMac.

My current iMac, I give a big kid who is very capable of daling with for example the Apple software.

However I want to completely clean my present iMac and delete any private data and programs that are totally private and or any use for my grandson. I definitely definitely want to remove all personal and financial data, email traffic so that recovery is impossible.

Indeed return my iMac to the factury State when I bought it.

I realized that this is no problem for a user to "revive" all programs and personal data that have been deleten in the iMac in the traditional way.

What is the way better and safer to delete the data of any user on my iMac?

  • What software is better and safer to protect my Mac

What software is better and safer to protect my Mac - OSX El Capitan 10.11.3? I was bombarded by MacKeeper advertising claiming recently that my Mac has "serious" problems and offering discounts of wholesale so that until recently the MacKeeper said my system was well protected and works well!

MacKeeper is considered malware: never install or use it. No Web site can analyze your Mac for "problems." If your Mac does not appear no matter what strange behaviour, it is not necessary to make "clean-up" operations

  • What is advanced Mac cleaner and Zipcloud?

I have a MB Pro mid 2012. Recently, I received a notification that an update was available and he came an offer to install a couple of free program called Advanced Mac cleaner and Zipcloud that would protect and 'clean up' my Mac. Since these came with the update, I assumed they were a legitimate Apple auxiliary and safe to install. But when I ran Adware Medic (Malwarebytes Anti-Malware) identified these programs as malware.  Can someone please comment?  I have not yet tried to erase those two requests.

They are two bins: If you have installed them you must get rid of them as soon as possible and do not use them. At best they they will do very little, but they can cause problems and can also be difficult to remove. They would never be included in an official Apple update - have you used another source? Updates Apple software or systems should come only from software update in the Apple Menu or the Mac App Store in Applications.

    Alhajji,
They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do.  I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system).  Then, run Windows update and update drivers.  At this point, you can install a game and test.  If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

  • I had problems with my gc, cleaned and he is now allowed outside my control file system system, that it will take place at 68% and stops running

I had problems with my graphics card cleaned and it works well apart from the system of checking file system on C: turns 68% and stops. If I have to cancel the computer checking seems to work ok, or is it?

I guess that Mark_S_Sloan is talking about chkdsk /r or running a disk check with fixed error on a restart. so I would say that what I used to say the performance is chkdsk:

The chkdsk/r can take a long time to complete depending on the size of the volume, the amount of data on the volume, the speed of the system and what chkdsk is to do.  It take about 2 hours for chkdsk/r run on one of the volumes of my1TB (I'm a right that I rarely run).

It may take a long time for chkdsk complete or they seem to be "stuck".  Be patient.  If the HARD drive led blinks always, chkdsk is something.  Keep an eye on the amount of the percentage to be sure that it is still making progress.  It may even seem to go back sometime.  Give him a chance.

    @Imran M - Microsoft technical support engineer:

Don't you know that the performance of the auditor of the filesystem (sfc/scannow) does not provide a percentage of completion?  Have you ever used it?

He also really tell you anything about what he did, or could have done when it is executed even if she finds something to do.

Everything you see in the Event Viewer system log are messages like this:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64016
Analysis of file File Protection Windows has been started.

    .. few time later...

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64017
Windows File Protection file analysis completed successfully.

Even if sfc/scannow find something to do, you will know about it, because it is not connected.

That's why use sfc/scannow still more of a waste of time.

I would not use any registry cleaner, which is what ASC mainly grows.  See the following for a long time MS - MVP Ken Blake:

Registry cleaning programs are all snake oil. Cleaning of the
registration is not necessary and is dangerous. Let alone register and
do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.
The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
    It can have.

    and also
    http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/Archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-Windows-fact-of-life.aspx

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry
cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it
the risk of a significant problem. And since there is no
benefits of using a registry cleaner, running that risk is a very bad
    good deal.

The files you listed, on the other hand, most of the time could be deleted-, but doing so probably will slow down your computer (probably imperceptibly) rather than the reverse.  You can Google any of these terms for more information, but in general, a "cache" is where Windows stores things that are frequently used, so you can find quickly and easily the next time that the item is searched.

Prfetch [sic. The "Prefetch" files], for example, to speed up the loading of applications.  There are many myths about the Prefetch folder, but for best results, leave it alone.

Usually the log files can be discarded.  Generally, you are not yet aware that a log file has been created.

Clearing "USER ASSIST HISTORY" is for the paranoid among us.  There is a registry key, but relatively safe to delete.  For more details, see http://personal-computer-tutor.com/abc3/v29/vic29.htm

  • Clean clean and reinstall XP and Win 7

Hi - I have two PCs I want to clean and install XP on one and Windows 7 on another.  I intend to use XP on the older who was a work computer.  The other is more recent and now running Windows 7.  I think he might have a virus or other software issues because the system restore does not work.  So my question is, how do I make as complete a wipe as possible in order to minimize the footprint and maximize hard disk space.  Especially for the most recent, I want to make sure that I can still use the material then will win 7 drivers automatically during this process if I am connected to the internet?

With XP and Windows 7, simply start over the CD/DVD and follow
guests for a clean install. It will begin by formatting the
    drive for you.

It will use the drivers what is already if he has them. For some, you
will have to go to the web site of the manufacturer after installation of
    obtain and install the drivers.

    Hello

As you are able to boot to the desktop in Mode safe, it means that the third-party application prevents the computer from starting in normal mode. To check you can configure the computer to clean start State and then try to boot into normal mode and check what is happening. To set up its own start-up follow the link below.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

If the problem does not continues when the computer is in the clean start State follow the steps listed to identify which application is causing the problem.

Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Lousy print quality no matter how many times I clean and align the printer.

I really like this printer, so don't want to give up on this! Then... color printing is fine. Is the black which is ruin. Clean the printheads several times and the report that prints shows the problem... printing of text is faded in task, lack of parts or lines through the text and others. I've lined up the heads and that works great... have replaced the black ink cartridge, but still the same issue.

Any ideas would be great... we had a paper jam at the time but it is erased, but perhaps it damaged something? Or is it a manual cleaning, I can do that could clarify this?

    THX... ~ Paul

And so... I continued to clean the print heads, repeatedly... dozen or several times and it finally started getting better little by little. Clean them some more and finally got the head to complete alignment properly. Then I'll call this resolved for now, and there you have it... clean, clean and clean...
