Awesome 4.3 icon fonts (fa - bed)

Brilliant 4.3 icon of fonts (fa - bed) - what is the easiest way to add this icon to APEX 5?  I really need this icon in my navigation menu...  It seems APEX 5 do not comes with icons fonts 4.3 awesome that I don't see fa - reads in the list - y at - it an easy way to add awesome icons fonts, because they are already packed in 5 APEX?  Thank you!

Hi Dan,.

the instructions above are for older versions of the APEX. APEX 5.0, it is still easier to integrate the latest version of FontAwesome without load unnecessary files.

(1) pass the shared components-> Edit theme

(2) change universal theme

3) go to icons

(4) change 'Library' to "- select Library -"

(5) the "Custom Library File URL" value "/ / maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.3.0/css/font-awesome.min.css".

(6) the value "Class prefix Custom" "fa".

(7) click on apply changes

(8) go to the component where you want to use the new icons and set "Icon of the CSS Classes" 'fa - bed '.

That's all. Please keep in mind that, by changing 'Library' to any built-in library, the manufacturer will not be able to show the preview icons more.

    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How can I change the color of the font describing the desktop icons?

    I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. How can I change the color of the font describing the desktop icons?

    Hello

    You cannot change the font color of desktop.

    Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.

    The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can I add an icon fonts manually for web fonts?

    I want to use a font for the icon that we live sites and avoid the versatility of spriting steps the charaters of the individual for the icons in the reflow.

    e.g. http://fortawesome.github.IO/font-awesome/

    This isn't something is typekit lets you add so it would be local. Is it possible to manually add a font to the list of fonts to web-based application so that it is selectable for use in the spans of text?

    I know that this would have implications for the preview of the page in the browsers and through inspect, but it's another bridge to cross.

    Hmmmm... Seems odd that adobe would not say that... Maybe I'm wrong, but I do not...

    Its pretty simple... Reflow is just for CSS... If you can do what you want with HTML... And reflow displays the handwritten mention CSS...

    So, to put in place a great icon of police police... Using Dreamweaver or media, all you would do is download or link to the kit in the head of your HTML file... Then just put the good brand upwards in your HTML file where you want the icons to appear... Then load this HTML file in reflow and you should see the icons... Then just use normal class or ID selectors to target and position the icons where you want... I'd probably use and tag to put the icons in...

    Awesome police has the mark HTML here - impressive font examples

    Hi all

    It is a known problem (CAR #1451404) and R & D is currently studying this issue.

    Most of the fonts look better if you increase the size of 12 and more. You can also try to go to control panel > display properties > tab: appearance
    Click on 'effects '.... "and disable or change the active element of the option" use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:'. "

  • My firefox does not display the icon fonts!

    If Safe Mode is good, the more likely culprits are one of your extensions or incompatibility of the graphics driver. To work around the second question, you can disable use of the hardware acceleration Firefox to see if that helps.

    "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced

    In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

    It takes effect the next time you exit and restart Firefox.

    * original title - everything on my screen is small! I don't know how to fix it please help.*

    Hi Johnny,.

    Looks like you may have to try to adjust the DPI settings on your computer. Here are the instructions on how to do it:
    I hope this helps.
  • My icons/fonts are large (as in low resolution)

    My screen is bigger than my resolution is low, even if I do not change the settings. I believe you can also achieve this effect even when the computer is started in safe mode. Where everything is enlarged. I change all the settings, this happened to me I connect in my user on my laptop (vista home prem 64 bit). I tried to change the resolution, which does not help, it's a whole little bit better, but it still doesn't look good. I don't know what went wrong or how to fix it.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
    Then:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
    Change the screen resolution
    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
  • Cannot change the font color on the desktop icons
    I am running windows vista. I can't change the font as in windows xp. No matter if the background is dark or the police is always black... Help!
    Hello
    Thanks for posting the question in Microsoft Answers.
    I apologise for the inconvenience.
    Unfortunately, you cannot change the font color of desktop.
    Because desktop wallpaper images have different colors, it is easy for the colors of unreadable fonts if they are on top of the same color in a background image to display. For example, a black font on top a dark part of the background image or a white font on a white part of a background image.
    The desktop icon fonts are dynamic and show white on dark background and change in white with a shadow effect black on a light background.
    In previous versions of Windows, it did not matter what color you chose to fund policies, some would still make invisible because of the background color of a desktop wallpaper. The user was constantly moving icons around the desktop computer to another colorful area where the police could be read. This was the source of a large number of complaints from users asking for a policy that was still visible, regardless of the color that was behind the police.
    However, you can change the theme and see if that helps:
    Awsome FA - Fa icons are not displayed on firefox that displays well on other browsers. go to www.upsingh.in
    It seems that Firefox tries to retrieve the fonts by using the link to the server http://www.upsingh.in/ and these files do not exist and does not use the link to the maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com .
    I don't see any request of the file hosted on maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com
    If I delete the link or disable the sheet style css/font-awesome.min.css Firefox then shows the police for me and I see a request to the server maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com to get the police
    You can paste this code into the command line in the Web Console (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to test this.
