Awkward table refresh behavior
We stumbled upon a behavior attached display objects that bother us. This happens with the 11.1.2.2.0 and 11.1.2.3.0 versions. But I think that it would also have the same way in 11.1.1.6.0.Sine qua non
-Create a VO based on at least two EOs that are joined.
-Create an editable for this VO table.
When you now change the data of a record in this table and change the selection to another line, the table is updated. It is a boring behaviuor, especially if you want to change a lot of data.
I tried to change the attribute of the second entity refrence in the View object, but it doesn't seem to help.
Is there a way to change this behavior? I mean, with your 'normal', based on the only entity you do not get this behavior refreshing.
Thanks in advance.
Hello
don't think it has to do with the way which is built the VO. Open the file view PageDef (page or a page fragment) and change the property PolicyChangeEvent of 'ppr' to 'None '. This should fix the behavior

table refresh automatic-how?
I work with the latest version of jdeveloper 11g. My problem is that after I have create an adf table and I try to enter data into the table, run the validation button still remains inactive.if I hit the problem is resolved. I would like to know how can I do the table to present the data(refresh automatically) whenever I have enter data or click the column? I tried the auto submit property on the columns, but I have the same problem. Thank you for your help.Hello
You may need to add all the IDS of editable elements to validate partial trigger button.
You may also need to define all the components autoSubmit property to 'true '.For example, if you have 4 inputtext to then change:
1. you define all the four autosubmit property to true.
2. you add all four codes to validate partial trigger button.
Just add the id of the table may not be enough.At least, this way, we were able to define validation, visibility of the button restore correctly.

ADF Table Refresh / Commit on delete
ADF 11 g in jDeveloper 11.1.1.1.0
So, I have an element of the ADF Table in a collection of panels. In the collection, I added a menu with the menu item to delete the current line. The line is not engaged. Is it possible to do a removal of line in one operation?
Note:
I just medication the type of operation to remove the data on the menu item control.
Action Listener: #{bindings. Delete.Execute}
Partial submit: true

ADF table refresh in the db table does not
Hi people,
I have an ADF table based on a table of db. It also has a box - a transitional attribute. When the button called, kicks historical method of a stored procedure to treat assets selected (from box). After that the ADF table should get updated based on the underlying table of the db. When the button is pressed, it calls a managed bean. Code in it is below. The moveAssets is a methodAction defined as PageDefinition links. Even though I have executequery on the iterator, it is not update / take into account changes in the db table. Could you please suggest me where I'm wrong?
public void MoveAssetsbtnMtd (ActionEvent actionEvent) {}
Add the code in the event here...
BindingContext bctx = BindingContext.getCurrent ();
Con DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) bctx.getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
Note "moveAssets" is the Id of the link actionMethod in PageDefinition
OperationBinding oper = con.getOperationBinding("moveAssets") (OperationBinding);
Because the method takes a parameter, send the ToLocation to assign it with ParamsMap
oper.getParamsMap () .put ("vToLoc", resolveExpression ("#{bindings.")) HZLocations1.attributeValue}'));
oper.getParamsMap () .put ("Param2Name", "Param2Value");
System.out.println ("Moving asset for:" + resolveExpression ("#{bindings.") "") HZLocations1.attributeValue}'));
Execute a method
Oper.Execute ();
Look for the error after the execution of the method
If (oper.getErrors () .size () > 0) {}
Handle any error here
System.out.println ("error in MoveAssetsbtnBean");
}
Update the table of the ADF of material movement hist table
After you have moved the selected assets - 20150429
DCBindingContainer links =.
(DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
DCIteratorBinding iter1 = binds.findIteratorBinding("AssetMove1Iterator");
ITER1. ExecuteQuery();
}
Thank you
It should be fair enough, yet can you check number of VO lines after the call to the stored procedure to ensure that the data is updated in ViewObject?
and if t is not then when calling executeQuery on viewObject and then check again

Af:table unwanted behavior
JDeveloper 12.1.3
Benefits: I tried searching the forums but I do not know how to use appropriate terminology to describe what I see. Basically, I have a table of the ADF that returns the results of the query. The table is read-only with unique, select enabled.
However when the results appear, more a folder is grayed out. I can't say it is "chosen" because when I actually select the line, it's another shade of gray. It seems that the recordings to greyed out are grouped by the first column of the results set.
See this screenshot:

If it is a function, how to disable. I really want to see just selected line
A primary key can be of several attributes. Together, they identify a row.

Table refresh using network binding
Hi all
I use the 11g 11.1.0.6 database and I'm usning network link to update the tables. The requirement is something like, on production, we have the META schema
and the Test, we have meta_qa diagram. Meta on prod has five tables, for example tab1... tab5. now, I need to update these tables in meta_qa on the test.
We also use a job, what does the same, but here, the only difference is, we meta_qa prod database schema.
concerningStill, it does not appear that you use qualified table names. In your original post, your setting TABLES has the display names table
TABLES=(META.USER_SECURITY_INBOX,META.USER_ACCESS_SECURITY,META.WH_USERS_OPID,META.WH_USERS_OPID_INFO,META.WH_USERS_REDBRICK_INFO)
What happens when you have table display names in your setting TABLES and that you include the REMAP_SCHEMA parameter?

I use leaving the graphic scale automatic for my program, but it seems to use a minimum value by default to zero instead of something near the lowest values in the chart. So since I have 15 series on the chart, they are all bundled together in the upper part of the graph and it is very busy and unreadable. I know that I could manually set the minimum value for each series, but the point of this program is to autoscale intelligently and apparently the default Flex behavior does not work. Is there another way to change the default behavior? Or do I just have to manually set the minimum values?
Okay, my bad, I finally thought to it. If you look at my code above, I create the vertical axis IN the loop so it keeps changing. That's the problem. When I pull this code:
Set the vertical axis
var vAxis:LinearAxis = new LinearAxis();
vAxis.labelFunction = formatVertLabel;
vAxis.autoAdjust = true;
vAxis.baseAtZero = false;outside the loop, it displays correctly.

Quick question: the table Insert method sends the SQL string once or once for each link? That is, could the wire size of text sql to network problems?
You referring to the links table, or passing an associative array? In fact, it does not matter, the sql statement is sent once in both cases. If you have messed around with SQLNet trace, you can use it to see the actuall with db communication to confirm that.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the size of the sql text could lead to network problems.
It will be useful,

Refresh the result table or rerun the query
I have a requirement, simple but stuck somewhere.
Jdev 11.1.1.17 Expert level: Mid-Senior
I have a form of application and the associated result table. It works great and no problems.
My requirement is that I have a commandlink on one of the column. Clicking on that will open a popup with an editable filed. OK will commit and Cancel will close the pop-up window.
After that the popup is dismissed with partial trigger, my table refreshes but data is identical to the front. But if I click the Find (Search) button on the query, it shows the data with the results updated which are changed in the pop-up window above.
How do I update table which re - runs the query and then refreshes the table after the popup is dismissed, or when the user clicks the OK button in the pop-up window.
Get on the viewObject of this table and call the executeQuery method that
Write this method in the method AMImpl and then call it in bean managed using the OperationBinding at the click on the Ok button of the dialog box
ViewObject vo = this.getViewObjectName ();
vo.executeQuery ();

Refresh the one row in the Table of the ADF
Hi all
I have a webcenter application where the ADF Applications has been deployed. Now the data arrives on Tables in the ADF for a webservice. In this particular table, I need to update the single line (as selected by the user to change) or to a particular area with the updated values and need to validate and create a message box saying about errors if validation does not.
Please think!Hello
If "update the value" means that the value has been changed on the intermediate layer (not the client browser) then the update requires the table to be partially updated. If the user changes a line in this line a dependent fields, then it is possible partially updating the column. Note that ADF Faces tables refresh only a cell

Hi all
I have a page jspx, with a table and a button.
Create the table data control, and it contains 4 columns
(Name, card student, asked (Question or answer)).
I create the code for the button to work
1. Select a record
2 send email
3. when I send the request goes from Q to A
All work fine. The mail has been sent. The demand for DB password Q has. But in my jspx table refreshes.
Until I close and open again, it displays all the data.
How cal I solve it?
Thanks in advance
Christos.
Simply add partialTrigger on table pointing to the button.
It will update the table when the button is clicked.

JDeveloper 12.1.2
I have two display criteria, VC1 and VC2 are based both on the same VO. For example, let's say that I have used VO
SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID
Employees;
Let this be VC1:
SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID
EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2
Used for af:query
So let's say I have VC2 with bind variable
SELECT * from (SELECT Employees.EMPLOYEE, Employees.EMPLOYEE_ID, Employees.FIRST_NAME, Employees.LAST_NAME, Employees.DEPARTMENT_ID
EMPLOYEES employees ) QRSLT WHERE 1 = 2 AND ((UPPER (QRSLT. Department_id) = UPPER(:DeptIdBind))) )
The user runs the af:query research and resulting table lists some employees. The last value of the column in the table of results, I did as links:
< af:column headerText = 'Department' id = "c1" width = "140" >
< af:link shortDesc = "#{bindings.myVO.hints.DepartmentId.tooltip}" id = "ot4" text = ' #{row. "" DepartmentId}'
action = "#{backingBeanScope.MyBean.byDept}" partialTriggers =": t1" / >
< / af:column >
If the user now clicks on the link, I would expect the following:
1. the values entered in the af: query to stay
2. the table refreshes since the underlying VC2 is defined and executed VO. Here is the code VOImpl and backingbean
The bean of support code
public String byDept() {}
Links DCBindingContainer = (DCBindingContainer) BindingContext.getCurrent () .getCurrentBindingsEntry ();
DCIteratorBinding dcItteratorBindings = bindings.findIteratorBinding("EmployeesIterator");
Line r = dcItteratorBindings.getCurrentRow ();
Object keyvar = r.getAttribute ("DepartmentId");
OperationBinding searchExp = ADFUtils.findOperation ("searchByDept");
searchExp.getParamsMap () .put ("deptId", keyvar);
searchExp.execute ();
Returns a null value.
}
Impl VO
{} public void searchByDepartment (String deptId)
setDeptIdBind (deptId);
executeQuery();
}
Problem:
Query (VC2) runs but table does not reflect that. That is to say I don't see the list of employees of the selected Department
Any idea?
RPP = partial page request
PPR refresh a component jsf
AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .addPartialTarget (UIComponent);
Where component is the component that you want to refresh.
Have you checked that the query executed vc ID?

ADF: Partial trigger in one column of a table
Hello people!
I have a master - form detailed with departments - employees (HR diagram).
In the VO of departments, I have a column transitional 'TotalSalary"calculation of the amount of the salary of all employees by the Department. I use the expression Employees.sum ("(salary is nothing)? 0: salary ").
In the column .jspx Salary is AutoSumitted and partial target runs 'TotalSalary' salary.
The result is fine, but the issue I'm having here is how NOT having all the Department table refreshed with every single change in detail, but only the TotalSalary column.
Suspicion. I dragged once more the transitional column outside the table, and I noticed that the outfield is updated immediately, but the field within the table NO (because the table does not update).
Could you please provide any help!
Thank you very much!I had a similar problem. The only way is to update the table. The partial relaxation for a single column in a table works only if the trigger is also a column to the table.
