BACK during boot

I used to power press ESC during startup, upward, in older versions of Windows and shows that orders BACK loading. Is it possible to do this in windows 7?

Which is typically managed by your BIOS put in place, if it is still available.

You can try it before you do a reinstall:

    Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • MacBook Pro glued on the filled during boot loading bar

My MacBook Pro (end of 2011; El Capitan 10.11.5) is recently become insensitive at the point of being unusable, so I decided to do a clean install, since I had to do one for a while anyway. Once I reinstalled El Capitan, I took my SSD (Samsung 840 EVO; 500 GB) out of the enclosure and put it back in my MacBook Pro, but it wouldn't boot. As a first step, it loaded so slowly that I decided to reset the NVRAM, who ends up helping just a little. The loading bar fills now halfway to the top with the usual speed, but after that, it takes a few minutes to complete. And once it is full, nothing happens. He remains on the Apple logo and the bar filled little matter how long wait.

I also put the 500 GB SSD with the clean install in an another MacBook (Late 2008) and it works fine, so the problem must be related to hardware, I just can't determine what exactly. I tried to do an AHT, but basic and extended trials got stuck shortly after and gave me no result. I had trouble with the kernel panics, so I suspect that something may be wrong with my RAM, as I exchanged the 4 GB to 16 GB just now. But before you go out and spend money on the new RAM, I wanted to know if maybe someone runs into this behavior before and knows exactly what's going on or if not how I understand what is wrong.

Almost all of the kernel panic seemed to happen every time I was using Photoshop or video in Safari streaming. I'll post an old report of kernel panic, but a problem with Time Machine has led to the removal of all my past, with the exception of the most recent backups. I hope someone can help me find another way to understand what is wrong.

Update: I just tried it on an other SSD (same model, 250 GB) which has been working well in my older MacBook and this time I get an error message as soon as the loading bar starts to fill to the top. It remains for a few seconds, then the MacBook stops and starts again; This continues in an endless loop. I have attached a picture below.

I really don't know how exactly to interpret this, but this looks like a kernel panic for me. What is my RAM after all? I appreciate any comment on that.

Connect the SSD to the external MBP via USB and see if it will start the MBP.  If so, the internal SATA cable is suspect.

If you can get the MBP to start, then you can start to deal with panics of the kernel:

  • MacBook pro stops during boot, same drive boots imac

My 2009 MB Pro has a 2 TB with (MacOS 10.11) inside drive. It suddenly started to stop a few seconds in the boot process. When I walk in target disk mode I can still boot my iMac using this same internal drive via firewire. I used it like that for a few weeks with zero problems.

I ran each diagnostic that I can think on the drive, including the latest version of Techtool Pro, and the player with the flying colors each time.

I suspect the problem was the MacBook Pro hardware, but it starts on another internal drive (with 10.6 on it) very well.

Any idea what I can do here to get this drive of my MacBook Pro starting again?

  • M9000t freezes during Boot with only Windows 7

I have all my gear to day and drivers and bios.  However when I try to install Windows 7 on this computer M9000t it works perfectly and restart perfectly except when I turn it on in the morning.

Every morning when I turn it on Windows 7 32-bit, it will go to the screen with the animated Windows Logo which move then just stop and stay there forever, until I press the power button then choosing the Recovery Manager thing.

I don't understand why its doing this with Windows 7.  Windows Vista works fine but I prefer 7 since I got for free at my school.   I have tried everything, and his making believe its something with this HP m9000t computer.   I've installed several times via clean install and it still happens.  Thanks for the replies.

I COMPLETELY RESOVED IT. The TV tuner was causing the freezing boot sequence. I never use the TV tuner card and when I removed it physically, it was HOT. Windows 7 WORKS BEAUTIFULLY here now.

  • How do I go back during navigation

    Hi guys,.

Sorry for my trivial question... but I want to allow a user to return to the previous page on an application of BB10 webworks... I can't understand or which is the gesture nor to display the bottom bar containing the button back (as for example in the "Settings" application).

    I'm a little confused...

    Thank you very much

    -marco

There are several ways to achieve this.

    1. use a framework such as UI BB. This will give you the screen pushing and popping and the appearance of BB10 action inside a bar. You can see the project here: https://github.com/blackberry/bbUI.js

    2. you can also use the BB10 Jquery Mobile theme that you would simply add the back action bar and include js and css files. Pretty simple. Then connect the back button to window.history.back ().  You can view the project here https://github.com/blackberry/jQueryMobile-BB10-Theme.

    3. the last option is your own navigation. You could easily hang it in window.location.back () or something similar.

    Hope that helps

  • Jump timeline playhead back during video playback.

    Hello

Before I upgraded to 2014 CC and now CC2015.1, I have not had any problems with playback on my PC first.

But after the upgrade to 2014 CC and newer versions, I have a strange problem I can call 'playhead jump' or 'cursor jump game.

How it appears? When I play my video in real time I see time strange shaking or juming. This time jump takes only fraction of a second but ugly video preview do.

For example, when I press the "play" button I see about 5 seconds of smooth video and then small time new jump to about 0.1 second. And then I see 5 seconds of smooth playback and this time by jumping. And so on.

I see this jumps on video, and also on the movement of the playhead back too. Sometimes play smooth can take 5 seconds, sometimes 6 or 7 there is no value set.

I tried everything, all the settings in general or project. Nothing is changed.

Also, I will say this jumps don't depends of the complexity of the project of creation. I can simply make an empty project with only a sequensce and a color matte and see who jumps.

OK, I see a few things you could try.

First, the output of your card is listed as 192 kHz.  Try changing the standard 48 kHz, probably somewhere in the settings of the card.

If this does not work, try removing the card entirely and using audio to the mobo.

I wouldn't expect to one of these things to interfere with reading, but I saw a few other reports where an audio adjustment comes only if they can be worth a try just to see what happens.

  • How can I access the BIOS on a Pavilion p6710f when the usb keyboard is not recognized during boot?

There is no connection to access the bios with a standard PS/2 keyboard and the USB driver does not load in time to access the bios with a combination of keys on the keyboard. I need to check the version of the BIOS and check the settings of hardware for my readers who are accessible via the BIOS. If I can't enter the appropriate key, how to enter the BIOS? Seems to be a common problem, since I see issues with some answers all over the internet. I even looked for a possible 'hidden' ps/2 connection in the case, but not joy.

  • during boot, the BIOS is hidden activity

The system does not display the activity of the bios when starting upwards. You don't see no activity on the screen until the login screen is in place. I need to access the bios settings for the configuration settings, but do not remember how to reactivate the visibility. Can anyone help?

    Hi danielholland,

What is the brand and model of your computer?

I recommend you contact the manufacturer of your computer for help. The manufacturer would be able to help you to change or change in the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) settings.

Note: Changing the BIOS / chipset can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/chipset can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    Hope the helps of information.

  • Satellite A200 - need help with boot USB

    Hi all,

I have a starting problem with my Satellite A200.
I boot from my USB. It is bootable Linux to install the tutorial is as follows:

Insert the USB key or drive you want to boot from.
    Restart the computer.
During startup, when prompted, press the appropriate button to display the Options of 'starting' Usually this is F2, F8 or F12 (displayed on the splash screen).
In the boot menu, select the drive to boot from.

The computer will now boot from the USB key or the first disc to change the priority of booting back to boot from the hard drive. Perform the procedure again, but to choose the hard disk in step 4 the computer will now start from the first hard drive.

My share of any move to the right when it restarts with the connected USB still frozen and Toshiba screen but it does not load anything.

F2 I want to access the BIOS it makes me wait, but nothing happens. I'm nothing like 1 HR wait for selections of F12 boot except that all the boot are marked exceptions for the FDD, one on which I want to start.

I find myself facing a dead end because Toshiba loads must be connected to anything which is silly because I want to start on my key.

    If anyone has a solution...

Message was edited: assignment has been translated

    Hello

Please unplug your USB and start your laptop to see if everything is OK.
    Test with:

F2 - to enter the BIOS settings
F8 to display the advanced startup options
F12 - to access the start menu

If possible, try to enter the BIOS settings and set it to default settings.

After that restart your laptop and use F12 to get into the boot menu. When the boot menu appears to put the USB into the USB port, choose USB as a boot device and press ENTER.

But the first step is to check if you can get into the BIOS and change the default settings.
