  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

• HP 15 t select - need help in the event of opening

  I just got an Envy 15 t custom selection and delivered to me in order to upgrade for one SSD HARD drive I have. When I received it, we suddenly see that there is no access at the bottom of the laptop panell, nor it did not seem that the bottom of the laptop could be deleted. Look, the only seam in the whole of the device is where the top plate (which the keyboard is mounted on) responds to the lower part of the body. It's hard to describe, but essentially, it looks like that with this model the keyboard must be free from wall first to access the Interior.

  I tried to find a manual online and I found just for mobile phones of the previous generation where all the background can be "pryed" after the screws are removed. Mine is not like that. I don't know if this is a new generation or what, but there is absolutely no way to get down out of the computer. I tried to get a manual by HP help-chat, but after 40 minutes of waiting and slow responses, the "technician" was able to tell me that the ram and ssd are not extensible in my model because it is a "sleekbook". Of course, this statement is false, but I'm sure that HP does not want people who do not know what they are doing to open the computer.

  I just need to know how to get the machine open without breaking the plastic clips or folding of the upper plate. I got it 70% retired, he just does not know how to get the part directly under the screen on. The one with the most recent repair or some experience with this would eb greatly appreciaed.

• Newbie needs help with the new system specs!

  I need to upgrade my system to my work because of the need to begin to use Camtasia and Premiere Pro CS6 (as well as other elements CS6).  I'm not a computer expert and the machine below will be set up for me next week.  I have a few questions that I had grealtly appreciate any feedback on:

  1. Do you think that in general my new system specifications are not enough for basic audio/video editing of SD and HD material?
  2. Can I expect a significant increase in the quality of video playback, as well as a reduction in the time of video rendering while you use Camtasia and Premiere Pro?
  3. Is my diet is going to be enough for the specifications below and if not what is the danger of not leveling who?
  4. If there is some thing/nothing else I had to upgrade what would it be?

  I work for a retail tile distrubtor with about 130 employees.  Training videos, that I create are mostly screenshot simple and basic videos that do not require a TON of high-end editing.  I use a lot of images JPEG high resolution and basic SD video sequences captured from a camcorder Canon GL2 (Mini DV cassettes).  Us will modernize ends up the camera, but that's what I use now.

  The previous computer I had suffered with very choppy video playback and long video rendering times and so I convinced my boss and IT Manager needs an improved system that has a faster processor, a better video card and more RAM.  I used my old system this year and the other takes place next week, is listed below.

  I wrote a small example queue state machine to try to teach myself about the creation and use of the user events.  The purpose of the machine is periodically pick a number (I do now with a control instead of a generator of random numbers for troubleshooting), and compare this figure with the number I put in a control.  When they match, I want to raise an event to fire so I can do something about having found a match.  The examples in the file LV references help show events within the structure of the event, but I want to reach out of a State and trigger an event...

  Can someone point me in the right direction here?

  I think the service you're looking for is generating the user event.  What to put in your consumer loop, inside the case structure when identical numbers.

• Need help to set the system...

  I received message 'ERROR of FAILURE of BATTERY CMOS... So I changed the CMOS battery and even now, the question is not attaches... Now I get the error message "CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR" and also, I am unable to set my time system... Also, if I try to set the system time in the start menu, I'm unable to do so and also my pc restarts again after receiving this error...

  Someone please help me solve the problem.

  Ideally, the CMOS battery should solve this problem, but in this case, it seems that the new CMOS battery does not work as expected.

  When a CMOS Checksum error occurs at the start of the system, this could mean that the system has been restored to the default factory settings. CMOS contains data related to the BIOS and may have been reset. It could also resolve the problem by resetting the BIOS. The problem may also occur due to the depletion of the CMOS battery.

  To solve the problem, it is recommended that you update the BIOS firmware, based on the make and model of the computer, I ask you to contact the computer manufacturer to obtain the latest BIOS updates.

  Note:

  BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  If the BIOS update does not help, it is perhaps due to the fact that the battery powering the CMOS (when the computer is off, it allows the CMOS store information), is sold out. You can consult the hardware manufacturer or the store local tech for more information on the question if the new battery CMOS works or not.

• Need help with user events

  I have an initialize VI where I create a number of user events.  Originally, these consisting of a number of different types of data and have been released as a cluster.  However, I had to change this to an array of variant, as I'm indexing later user refnums in a loop FOR to generate a Boolean matrix of the conditions-based events.  As I'm unable to elements of a cluster index, I have all types of event data changed to variants so that I could pass them on in a table that could be indexed.  It seems, however, that the labels property that populate the structure of the event with the names of the individual event to select from are lost during the use of variants - the structure of the event shows that multiple instances of

  : User event

  in the drop-down list.  Is it possible to get the event names to persist or pass them in the structure of the event, so I can configure cases properly?

  It seems so the VI changed with the data types variant event works, but for some reason, the structure of the event did not update to reflect the changes.  After removing and recreating the event record Refnum indicator in my VI initialization and recharge the parent VI, everything seems to work as expected.

• Need help with the time system

• Hello! I have a laptop HP Compaq 6730 s with a windows XP SP2 OS. I need help with my drive burning/writing speed CD/DVD and its ability to play DVD. __

  There an Optiac DVD RW AD-7561 pilot. Before it used to have a 8 X read speed and a 8 X write speed, I can see via NERO everytime I have will burn a DVD. But now the writing speed has become 2 X and therefore more adjustable from a NERO software. And also I tried to burn a DVD every time, he finished but it does'nt displays data that has been burnt at all... I already tried to uninstall this software, rebooted and installing it, thinking that this might well be the cause of the problem, but it's always the same. I even tried to install Roxio 9, hoping that this will solve the problem, but it still shows the same write speed 2 X... His ability to read and burn to a CD is fine, but the problem is when it comes to DVD's just makes a strange noise and takes a long time before displaying the content of the DVD and its ability to burn a data file on a DVD...

  Before this problem occurred, I remember I have inserted a DVD and tried to copy paste its content on my desktop. But while the copy is in progress, I accidentally typed on the eject button while trying to reach for my cell phone, which was placed next to the my laptop cd/dvd drive.

  IM desperate and I need an experts'advise on what to do...

• I need help and im not sure how to tell you what the problem is. Firefox has a tools app

  There are a bunch of garbage that firefox imported from google and I can't get rid of it. How can I stop firefox support Web sites. I am very frustrated. I love firefox but if I can't solve this problem I will be forced to remove it.

  Could you be more specific on the rubbish heap?

  In the meantime, here is my procedure suggested to track down and cleaning of the bad modules. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

  (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date. This can help the undisclosed items bundle smoker who snuck out with some software, you have agreed to install. Beware of everything that you don't recognize / remember, since malware often uses sounding names important or innocent to discourage you remove. Out as much garbage as possible here.

  (2) open Firefox page modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
  • in the Windows "Run" dialog box, type or paste
    firefox.exe "about:addons"

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Set essential and unrecognized plugins 'never enable '.

  In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  Any improvement?

  (3) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. I suggest the specialty forums listed in the article in this case.
