Back to CC CS6

How to uninstall all CC2014 so I can run CS6 bypassing the computer tell me that my subscription lapse? I have a licensed copy of the CS6 and the school I attended issued me a year subscription to CC. I'm no longer in school and I don't need the CC, but I have to be able to reuse the CS6. Problem whenever I bring it up it fails because my CC subscription has lapsed.

Please try the steps mentioned as a work around mixed considerations of licensing - if you have an active member of the creative cloud and a serial number for Lightroom 6

  • If I go back to the CS6, I open my latest files?

This last 'upgrade' so disabled my workflow that I am more determined than ever to cancel my subscription to the CC. If I do this, what happens to my files that have been saved as versions CC when I try to open them in CS6? I only use PS, ID, Acrobat and HAVE. What makes me sick is that individual subscriptions to just the desktop publishing applications is more expensive than the wholoe package, most of which I've never used and never will be.

    Hi Carol,.

Files that are created in newer versions of applications (for example, CC, CC2014, or CC2015) will be open in CS6 not correctly or may not even not open because it is a previous version and a few new features may be missing.

Reference: "the project has been saved in a newer version of premiere pro and cannot be opened in this version." - except that it wasn't!

  • I want out of my computer, CC and go back to Indesign CS6 and convert my IDML files

I never liked CC on my computer.  It's very weird things, to freezes sometimes and I converted CS6 and updated to the latest version, which is of course far behind what CC is to (v 10 something now?).  However, when I open my newly saved as file IDML Indesign CC file, he loses the file name, I gave and it reopens as 'Untitled'- and it drives me crazy.  What is going on???

Normal behavior. IDML files always open as untitled.

  • Where can I find the navigation of the "back" button in CS6 again?

Currently I have several chronologies and may not know where to find the creation of buttons as you'll find on a DVD remote?  That is to say.  Once the video track is playing, and someone wants to return to the previous video track, NOT only comes at the beginning of the current video track, how can I target it?  ACTION of LATE and the OTHER touches the excellent work.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 5.40.09 PM.png

Yes is not a "previous" function in another so that a chronology that comes before, only for a chapter. Script (I think) can do that, but still has no script.

Another way to look at this: easy ways to go to the next timeline require the function "end action". There is no similar functions for what to do when the beginning of the timeline is reached.

  • Differences in transition in default shortcut behavior between CS6 and CC

For several years, I was using PPro CS6 until Exchange to CC a few months ago.

In CS6, I liked the logic/behavior of the shortcut video transition default (for a chassis 20 dissolve in my case) applied via the Ctrl + D keyboard shortcut. Of course, he had to sit the head of reading/CTI above the transition point (i.e. where two elements butted together) in order, but that's all. It didn't matter if you had another clip selected / highlighted anywhere else in your sequence, only when the playback head was. So I could apply default transitions quickly from the keyboard by moving the playback slider to the next transition point in my sequence (via the keyboard up and down arrows) and by applying the shortcut. No mouse participation whatsoever.

Move forward to the CC body and I just can't get this behavior to work more. Instead, if I have a selected clip elsewhere in my sequence and I hit Ctrl + D my transition by default now is applied to this element, no matter where my reading/CTI head is positioned. To work around this problem I need to click on an empty sequence part (to deselect the last clip), and only then can I ask my default transition where my head is currently positioned between the clips. The big problem here is that it requires catch me the mouse to click on an empty part of the sequence, thus slowing my workflow. Although it may seem petty, it makes a big difference in reality.

I've lived with this behavior for several months, assuming that there must be a hidden setting to give back me the CS6 behavior. I can't believe that adobe would force without our knowing that he can actually slow things down. Maybe it suits some styles of editing with a head I didn't understand yet, but it is certainly not mine and I hope that there is a "stop" somewhere.

    Are there?

No, there is no OFF. You will need to get use to it. I like it better then cs6.

    or feature request/Bug Report Form

Instead of placing the playhead on the Cup, using the rolling Edit tool select and press ctrl + D.

  • Could not open the CS6 applications after you have uninstalled creative cloud - MAC

I'm having a problem my applications CS6 to open after canceling the creative cloud. Legally, I brought and paid CS6 suite in 2013 or 2014, I think, that has worked well. I recently attended the University, which required for me to get the license of creative cloud of 1 year. This license has expired there is, at this time I deleted and removed creative cloud of my laptop and came back to the CS6 about 2 or 3 months. So far, I had no issues or problems. I get an error that appears when I try to open one of my apps CS6 saying I need to renew my subscription creative cloud. I tried to use the tool to download creative cloud, and whenever I use the tool, it says done but with errors. I've searched the forums and I tried some of the suggestions but nothing seems to work for me. I think that since I didn't renew my subscription, I can't call Adobe technical support for assistance. I'm ready to post videos and screenshots if that's helpful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • Stuck on cloud, but I want to CS6

My company has Adobe Web and Design Premium CS6 since 2012.  I recently tried InDesign on CC and now that the track is completed, I * need * back to Indesign CS6 to finish work on a project... but every time I try to open Adobe InDesign CS6 CC dialog box opens and tells me that my trial is over.  I'm not interested in renewing or buysing.  I downloaded Adobe CCleaner and deleted everything related to cloud.  Not really sure what to do now and I am on a deadline.  Any suggestions?

How we stop to resume my perpetual license CS6 creative cloud?

  • CS6 Windows will work on a Mac?

A few years back, I bought CS6 Production Premium for Windows.  I plan to switch to Mac and wonder if I'll be able to install my copy of CS6 on Mac OSX.

Your license will not work for a Mac, but because it is CS6, you can ask a (once) swap of platform.  You can exchange languages/platforms for a newer version product if you follow the instructions on the following link:

    l http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/Policy-Pricing/Order-Product-Platform-Language-swap.htm

If you want to keep the option open windows, then you would have to take the chance to try an emulator Windows on the Mac.

  • How to add icons additional app in CS6 without getting "error creting. files. Icon file is missing.

When you add new link icons in the XML descriptor, I always get:

    Untitled-1.jpg

The way of working icons is a mixture of what makes ADT and Flash Pro compiler what. The current version of Flash Pro is better in this regard, as is the current AIR SDK. If you want to continue to use the CS6 and avoid the problems of the icon, you may need to make generations using the command line. I don't think that Adobe will go back and revise CS6 in the way they maintain with the CC versions.

  • After Effects CS6 is no longer supported?

I just finished a conversation with a customer service representative.

I have a perpetual license of Adobe Production Premium CS6 I used for a while. Then I made the HUGE mistake of switch to CC and try it. My subscription has ended and I decided to go back to the CS6 (took me forever to convert all my files compatible CS6 if...). All of my applications worked really well... With the exception of After Effects.

Everytime I open the program, it opens a message window that reads:

    RENEW YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Go to the Manager of subscription to renew your subscription for creative cloud and continue to use your product without interruption...

The customer service representative told me that I need to renew my subscription or purchase a new license... is this for real?

In the end... even though I own a perpetual license for a lot of programs that I use on my daily life (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects), I still have to pay rent to use After Effects? Can someone give me an answer please? I'll appreciate that.

Unless your license has been acquired as part of some special educational or other similar agreement, if you paid full price directly to the license, you must always keep the license and the ability to take full advantage of it.  You can try to contact Adobe support for more details.

  • Embed Youtube video indesign CC/CS6

I'm trying to embed a video from youtube in indesign to publish using DPS in an app on the ipad...

I already have done this in indesign CS6 then upgraded to CC and now is no longer displays correctly.  Since then I went back and reinstalled CS6, but now it does not either...

I tried on CC and CS6 to integrate the code using the function "insert html" and also right click on the video to get this embed code copy and paste directly... neither work :/

I had the same problem after an update.  Seems the code for YouTube may have changed or changed something in InDesign.

Here is the code you need to do if everything goes well work (works for me every time):

You need get the string of numbers & letters that youtube gives in action like code: Z452rs9qHuc.  I put where you need to make it bold.  (This is what YouTube gives now, it does not (you must take the info like what I pointed out in bold) & put in the code I provided.)

When you make the form, you will need to you visit the video & display again the form HTML & press on entry to operate once you have everything set if an empty rises.  That's what I had to do for the last few months.

I just tested using both the code I gave & what YouTube gives now & only my code would work.

    Hope that helps.

    Karen
