Backflip doesn't pair with Voyager Pro headset

I just got my backflip, and it does not recognize my Voyager Pro headset. I have turned on and pressed the scan for the device button, but nothing comes. The voyager pro is supposed to be in the mode of pairing for the first 10 minutes, it's on, so I don't know what I can do. Any advice?

Have you tried using these instructions? :

1 - Disconnect the headset from the charger.

2-put on the headphones.

Press and hold the power button until the LED indicator flashes red/blue. The headset is in pairing mode.

If you do not see the red/blue flash, press and hold the power button to turn off the headset, and press and hold the power button again until you see the red/blue flash.

3- Use the controls on your phone to locate your headset.

For most phones, select settings/tools > devices > Bluetooth > PROPlantronics. See the user guide of your phone for more information.

4- If you are prompted for the password (PIN code), enter 0000

If the phone does not accept this code, please refer to your phone user guide to make sure that your phone is 'search' for the helmet in the right direction.

Pairing is successful when the indicator on your flashing blue helmet. Your headset is now connected and ready to use.

  • Recognized Bluetooth headset but won't pair with PC XP...

I have two sets of headphones Bluetooth, Sony DR-BT21 and Sony DR-BT50. I bought a USB Bluetooth dongle a few days there is a mark not specific (it was cheap) - but before becoming doubtful, I can plug it into my PC (Windows XP Prof SP3) and he will recognize both my helmet when I put them in pair mode. I can put in the access code and then they will be accepted. However, they are not apparently connected even if they are listed as of the Bluetooth devices known as a) they do not say "connected" below where it says 'authentication enabled key' in my Bluetooth devices settings and b) if I can connect with another element, for example my phone or mp3 player the being on, they are certainly not a connection paired with my PC. Now, I check to see if it is a driver problem (there is no prompt for me to download or install any drivers when I plug either the dongle or when I try to pay my headset with the dongle). I also checked in the Device Manager in the control panel to see if there was anything else required to be installed, however it comes up with nada.

So what I'm asking - how can I get my headset to connect? Clearly, they are recognized by the Bluetooth dongle, but why didn't he go further?

A plantronic 510 is an "authorized" compatible hands-free kit as per link below:

Can anyone advise where Im going wrong?  Ive used this before headset with another phone and it paired no prob.  Just like the Blackberry has paired with my other phone.  I do not use both at the same time Im transferring to the blackberry.

    Help!
    Shirlzz

    Hi Shirlzz,

There are a few things that can prevent the matching with the blackberry handsfree:

    1. Peripheral Bluetooth not turned in "pairing mode" before attempting to connect to the blackberry. To put the Plantronics 510 into pairing mode, simultaneously maintain "call control" and buttons at the same time. Please see the user's guide for more detailed instructions. Once in pairing mode, try to add the headset via the blackberry.
    2. COMPUTING policy. If you use blackberry on a Blackberry Enterprise Server, make sure that the policy that has been defined by the administrator of BES to the bluetooth connectivity.
    3. The blackberry could be linked to another handset/headset or PC. You must remove the connection to one of these devices before plugging the Plantronics headset.
    4. Camera malfunction? Try to disable bluetooth, then do a hard reset on the blackberry (leave the device on, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)

  • Headset Bluetooth will pair with the laptop. Argh.

I find it quite impossible to pair my Bluetooth BH-01 for my Toshiba headset in Windows 8. I set the camera on the charged pairing mode then the computer to search for devices, and it has always come in white. I tried troubleshooting, to change parameters, whole enchilada, but nothing has worked. Is - this headset simply do not pair with Toshiba laptops? What is Windows 8? I'm completely confused.

    Zealous salvation,

    1. are you able to match other bluetooth devices?

2 have you tried pair the bluetooth device to another computer?

You can check the compatibility of the device to the Windows Compatibility Center.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/compatibility/WIN8/CompatCenter/home

I suggest combine the device with another computer by using bluetooth and check.

If you are unable to pair another bluetooth device, then uninstall and reinstall the drivers of bluetooth on the manufacturer's Web site.

    Hi higi97,

How are you connected to the internet? You're behind a corporate firewall particularly safe? You're on Mac or Windows? You have an anti-malware software running on your computer which can prevent applications other than your browser to connect to internet?

You can try the steps below:

    1. close the application of creative cloud.

    2. navigate to the OOBE folder.

Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

    Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / folder/Library/Application Support / Adobe / OOBE

    3. delete the opm.db file.

    4. launch creative cloud.

Let us know if this helps,

  • BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone will remain not functionally paired with Motorola H500

I managed (at the beginning) paired my H500 with my curve.  After a few days, the State might be involved and there is no audio routed to the headset.  I wiped my phone and restored.  Problem solved for a few days, but now I'm back in the same boat.

    I tried to remove and re-"coupling" - doesn't help - it's worse.

    Symptoms:

Curve to find and match H500.  However, it gets stuck and says "waitng for Motorola H500" no matter how long you wait.

It you give up in the screen "waiting...". ', devices appear to be matched, but there is no audio data.

The choice of the "Disconnect" menu is initially present in the menu device paired on the curve.  After you select "Disconnect", the choice of the menu 'Connect' never appears in the menu device paired on the curve, so you cannot start the connection from the curve.

Any attempt to connect/disconnect via the H500 (after mating) fail.

    Hope someone can help me.

Yes, bluetooth is turned on. I have also turned off and turned on again to see if that would call to zero anything.

If I click on Setup > Bluetooth > BB button > add device, the BB will search and find my earpiece. Then I click on the H500 and he asks the passkey, i.e. when 'stuck' in mode "waiting for the Motorola H500".  The H500, estimated at this stage, it is paired with the BB and if you press the button "Cancel" and out of the "waiting...". "window, the BB believes while he is paired with the headset, BUT without audio...

Ok. Thanks for the replies. I assume you have the H500 mode thus matching and you enter the password on the BB and it is when you're stuck?  I know that you have tried to remove and reinsert the routine.  At this point, I wonder if your listener getting really into pairing mode so stuck.  He does not receive the authentication key.  Warranty?  Try pairing with another BB?  Just try to eliminate the variable as much as possible.

  • What encryption (if any) is used by Apple bluetooth Magic keyboard (MLA22LL/A) when communicating with MacBook Pro?

I am considering buying magical Keyboard wireless Apple (MLA22LL/A). What (if any) encryption is used by this keyboard blue-tooth when it communicates with the Mac Book Pro?

I have a Mac Book Pro running OS X El Capitan.

The only real encryption it offers is the fact that it pairs with your computer based on a code that you see only on your computer.     There are some wireless keyboards with much more sophisticated cipher such as AES.   Interestingly enough Apple uses AES encryption for its images of which are encrypted disk utility.

When you use a Windows keyboard, you won't get the same start strokes keyboard sequence, and the implementation of the Alt key and the windows are in reverse order of the Mac keyboard functionality.  Many start sequence shortcuts only work on the wired Apple compatible keyboards.   Logitech and compatible third-party Apple MacAlly keyboards.  Microsoft for its own keyboards makes a pilot who will the placement of the button Alt and Windows in the right order.

ALT = key Option from Apple.

An iPhone will not pair Bluetooth with a computer (Mac or Windows) for one use other than personal hotspot and it will only do that if the carrier is supported. However, there are a number of things will be using Bluetooth between the computer and the iPhone where the devices are NOT matched. The following link for MacID support site has instructions on how to do the installation. It requires Bluetooth to be turned on in the computer and the iPhone, but the rest of the configuration/connection is done inside the MacID app on each device, not normal Bluetooth pairing as follows: http://macid.co/help/?c=Setup & sc = Pairing % 20A % 20device
