backup Collections bridge cc

Hi, I have spent hours to build Collections using bridge CC and wants to make sure that I don't lose them. I can only find instructions on where to find the file in order to safeguard their place for previous versions of Bridge cs5 and cs6. Thank you

Mine are located at

How to delete folders in mini collections Bridge?

Can clarify you a bit on this one?

A collection in minijonction reflects the collections in the bridge itself. If you do not see the Panel collections go to the Bridge menu window and select the Collections Panel

But I don't know how you have a folder in this collection because a collection only accepts files and no record, is not possible to create a new folder in a collection.

But maybe I did not understand you correctly and you want to delete collections named himself?

If yes go to the collections Panel in the bridge itself, select the folder you want to delete and click on the right menu of the mouse allows you to choose 'delete '.

  • CS6 keywords - Collections, bridge of backups etc.

    Hi guys

In order to completely save the bridge database with the entire structure and key words related to each image (so that the XYZ image has all the same settings/keywords/metadata) after having for example completely reinstalled the MacBook (clean installation), it is sufficient to simply drag and drop the/library/Application_Support/Adobe/Bridge CS6 / Collections and Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml is?

What are the best ways to deal with safe information in Bridge to not waste time things relocation after purchasing a new Mac or clean install, having had an accident or...?

    Thank you!

    Bob

As Curt I don't know what's your workflow with export frame.

But for the copy of the library, during the migration to a new update system with clean install or a clean on the new computer installation, it is useful first of all copy the former library of the user in a backup location, but in this case, it is also wise to rename the copied library folder if the system won't make any errors in finding locations and getting confused with several folders of Library.

The most important issues for me are application Caches and Mail support but keeping the lot for a while as the back until you are absolutely sure that everything is in place and running as it should would be my way to go.

But do not copy an entire folder of a former library to a new library. This will cause you problems because the application on the new facility has retained its own parameters. Just compare the content of two files side by side. Be sure to have left the bridge and see what files are in the new and which in the former.

You only need to search for custom settings that you have saved your self. But also be aware that some files are only created after you have used or customization. In particular, a new installation, not all records from your old library. For example, you must start at once Adobe output module before creating its files at this location.

In the case of the output module, you should look at the user templates / boards contact and inherent are your custom lay the parameters stored (even for Media Gallery but I'm not very familiar with this).

It is also possible to overwrite the key file, but my favorite workflow would be to export the list of old and import the list again with the replacement of the existing default keywords help

And even more that I copy the contents of the batch rename collections and parameters (if you have customized settings), but know that collections are only aliases for the original files. If you have a new computer, the changes that an old collection will not be able to find the new location.

Workspaces should also only be copied for the same versions.

Photoshop has retained its screening in the Application support folder.

In basic, be so careful with what to copy and do not replace the files unless you are sure they are the right ones.

  • Migration of Bridge CS6 to CC

Hi, is it possible to migrate the labels, keywords and collections to bridge CC?  It is impossible to do in + 30 000 images.

I'm afraid that I can't help as much as I don't know anything about Macs. In Windows, the path contains hidden folders. We can not make them hidden in Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer, so it has nothing to do with browsers).

See if it would help. It contains information for Windows and Mac...

  • previous versions of files available for recovery "windows server backup.

I use "windows server backup" to back up my Windows Server 2008R2 and R2 for Windows Server 2012 boxes.

Using the graphical user interface of 'windows split backup', I can:

o search the various backups on disk

o down through the tree of a given instance of a backup to disk

o select a single file to retrieve

I want to watch all instances of a file that do not exist to recover.  This feature is available in 'windows explorer' by the 'previous versions' tab.  How can I get this same 'previous versions' ability via the 'windows server backup"collect mistletoe?

Are there other utilities (other that the 'windows server backup"recover gui) that allow me to browse the catalog of backup?

Is it possible to browse the catalogue using the powershell cmdlets?

  • Why the colour profile Adobe RGB (1998) get stripped when I save a TIFF as a psb?

I say cab to incorporate Adobe RGB color profile (1998) when I generate a TIFF of DNG. So far so good: bridge shows the tiffs as tagged with Adobe RGB (1998) in the category of metadata "Color Profile". When I save a TIFF as a PSB (large Document Format), I leave ticked the box to incorporate that color profile. But once the backup completed, bridge shows the psb as "Untagged" in the category of metadata "Color Profile". Similarly, the 'Get Info' box, under 'Détails', lists no color profile for the psb. Is this normal? If Yes, then what is the best way to get the psb tag Adobe RGB (1998)? And if not, then how can I get Photoshop to successfully integrate Adobe RGB (1998) when I save the tiff as a psb in the first place? Thanks for your help! -Mark

Your file is like most even when referenced, but Bridge preferences are set so that they do not deal with an overview on this large-format, so it turns non-marked. I bet that if you open the psb file and choose the drop down menu to display the color profile to the lower left of the document window, it displays the correct profile.

  • Problems in functionality of cancellation for a datagrid

    Hello

I have a datagrid that has been assigned to a collection of table variable may be related to its dataprovider, acData.

    < mx:DataGrid id = "dg" x = "200" y = "81" editable = "true" dataProvider = "{acData}" >

As soon as the application is loaded, some data are stolen in acData, which in turn is displayed in the datagrid control.

    acData = event.result;

I tried to create a copy of the data so that I can use it, in which case the user cancels entering data. Therefore, as soon as the data is loaded, I assigned the data to acData and also another collection of array named acBackUp.

    acData = event.result;

    acBackUp = event.result;

Because the DataGrid is editable, user can make changes in the datagrid control. But there is a button called 'Cancel' at the bottom. If the user clicks on this button after making a few changes in the datagrid control, I want to assign the backup collection table to acData, IE.

    During the click on cancel - > acData = acBackUp;

But what I noticed, it was even before assigning back up ca to acData, acBackUp crushed with the values that have been entered in the datagrid control. He won't these old event.result values in it.

I'm doing something wrong here ? How can I store old values in a collection of table and use it to the datagrid?

    pls help...

    -Deepak

    Hello

It looks like your berries are pointing to the result rather than being a copy of result data.

    maybe try something like this

    var acBackup: ArrayCollection = ObjectUtil.copy (event.result) collection;

    David.

  • Time Capsule backup disabled on Bridge mode

    Hi all...

I have a 3rd generation (A1355) Time Capsule and I connected on a D-Link DSL-2520U router which is connected to my DSL via PPPoE internet connection. In order to get my setup working, I had to put the network on the bridge mode settings. Since my backup Time Capsule does not work, and when I try to manually force the backup system, it is said: "the backup drive is not found. Make sure that the backup disk is connected, or select a different backup disk. »

When I try to put the time Capsule to DHCP, it is said: "the DHCP range you have entered conflicts with your base station WAN IP address."

Now, what can I do to get it working again?

Bridge mode is the correct setting of the time Capsule, but you changed the 'path' that has been using Time Machine to locate your Time Capsule on the network, so that it can not find the time Capsule.

(Gear on the dock icon)... open Mac system preferences

    Open Time Machine

    Click Add or remove disks

Under the backup disks, click to select the current backup drive

Click on remove the disc at the bottom right of the window

    Close the windows

    Restart the Mac.

Then, go to time Machine again as above, click select disk and select the backup drive that you want to use, and then click on using the drive.

Wait a few minutes for a backup start, or if you do not want to wait... click on the "clock" icon Time machine at the top of the screen of the Mac, and then click Backup now.

  • import Bridge collections in Lightroom CC

I have a lot of collections of bridge and switch to Lightroom CC, I want they to be imported.

What is the right way to follow?

    Hi bliks

Unfortunately, you cannot import collections of bridge because there is no way automated now, but you can assign a keyword for each collection so that you can easily reproduce in Lightroom. /

You can check Collections in Lightroom and Bridge: retouching Forum: Digital Photography Review and LR: how to import bridge collection - RAW, post processing & printing in photography-on - .net forums

  • I have no bridge in CS6 Master Collection

    Hello everyone.

I am currently at the end of my rope and very frustrated and confused.  I looked on the forums for a few days now and I just more confused.  Looked at 100s of pages in the forums of Bridge and Photoshop CS6 Collections.

I bought CS6 Master Collection 6 weeks ago and after a few tries they have everything in the folder applications except for After Effects and bridge.  I can't live without AE but it seems bridge or a substitute is a must for opening RAW files in Photoshop as well as TIF, jpg, etc. in the raw files.

I'm running OS X 10.9.5 bought a Mac Pro used (2008 model) computer with 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors, the 12 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB - DIMM memory, ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 256 MB graphics card.  I just upgraded to CS6 Master Collection (had suite CS4, which does not handle the RAW files from my camera) and that's what I have a problem with.   I understand that after effects 64-bit architecture needs to run and that is why it does not turn on or charge in the folder of the application from my computer and almost everybody does.  I don't know it's just that I haven't explored AE on the forums yet or if it's the problem with the bridge.  I saw nothing about whether the bridge to 32 or 64 bits for the CS6 version.

    My questions are:

First of all, is bridge one component of CS6 Master Collection Suite (some say no) - should I have seen as a component of CS6 MC or not?  I have seen no stand alone fill in my collection that some components in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator and one or two others.  Photoshop did nothing referring to the bridge in its download.  It is forums that bridge some form plays well with Photoshop (CS6) so I don't know what the problem is.  If it is a separate issue, what's her name and where can I get it?

The requirements for the CS6 States that Photoshop needs 64-bit like AE, but it seems to work OK in my 32-bit, and that's where my real confusion comes into play. Bridge must 64 - bit - anything.  I saw nothing in my 'to about this Mac' who says 64 or 32, but I'm probably not the right pane.

If there is a reason I can't bridge to play nice on my machine?  Someone can think otherwise to open jpg files and did the first as bridge is supposed to do if I bail on the bridge for a reason any (last resort)?  I open CR2 files in raw one or twice so this isn't a problem, it seems to me - just of conversion.

Thanks for everything and all the tips, suggestions, etc.    If I can begin to manipulate pictures in Photoshop.

    Thank you.

    Eric

Bridge is not autonomous in CS6, CS6 bridge comes with 32-bit and 64-bit. Try to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop to see if that solves the problem.

  • Use support of collaborative bridge collections and labels?

I'm creating a wide range of collections with custom labels. All the files in the collection exist on colleges have access to a network share. I have succeed to save xml data from collection to a network share that users can copy to their local machines. This allows them to see my collections on their computers. I have trouble getting my custom labels will be displayed for them. I also wonder if there is no automatic way to bridge to use a space of clouds to save these configs so that we don't have to go through the synchronization and the manual copy of all the data in the collection all around. Any help with this is appreciated

    Hi PetewMWM,

    > This allows them to see my collections on their computers. I have trouble getting my custom labels will be displayed for them. >

Unfortunately, the bridge is still kind of nobody, a computer app. It is not designed for servers. For the labels will display correctly, you will have to each of your colleagues have to name their labels identical to yours. Bridge recognizes that there is a label, but it is unclear what if labels have not been assigned to each bridge to view the files. So labels will appear as white if there is a mismatch. I guess that's what you see?

    > I also wonder if there is no automatic way to bridge to use a space of clouds to save these configs so that we don't have to go through the synchronization and the manual copy of all the data in the collection all around. Any help with this is appreciated >

Bridge is not connected yet to the cloud. But it would be a great feature request: Photoshop community customer family

While you're there, everyone do a favor and also to ask the bridge in order to better support on a work network. I keep hope that if enough people request features for Bridge, Adobe will be accompanied by more support and improved enforcement. They have no need to know you are out there trying to use the bridge.
