• HP 15-ab125AX: a backward compatibility are Windows 10 drivers?

  I want to buy the HP 15-ab125AX (http://www.amazon.in/HP-15-ab125AX-15-6-inch-A10-8700P-Graphics/dp/B014W98REA) for use during my MBA courses. However, the school I'm going to format all laptops and installs Windows 8.1 on them. The HP site lists only 10 Windows drivers for this model. Would I be able to install these drivers on Windows 8.1?

  Probably they are not.

  You might be able to use the W8.1 drivers and software the 15z-ab000 on this model, except the BIOS and firmware files, but no guarantee.

  If you are not willing to roll the dice on this, I suggest that buy you a business class notebook that has the support of W8.1.

• Anyone else get randomly disconnected backward compatibility games? I'm about to give up the program.

  Whenever I play a games backwards Compatibility (BC) 360 I randomly cut from Xbox Live, but only on the 360 end not the end of the Xbox One (XB1). Here are a few notes for intelligent types:

  -It is not isolated to a game because it happens to me on Left 4 Dead 2, Gears of War 2, Peggle, COD: Black Ops, AND MORE.

  -Coming when I broadcast, coming when I broadcast. (I like to broadcast and this hinders my ability to do)
  -Not my connection because I'm staying on XBL on the dashboard XB1.  In addition, my other devices are connected.
  -Only occur on XB1 games... ever
  -Sometimes when I'm in a group of XB1 and 360.  Occurs when I'm not in a party.

  -My download is between 50-100 Mbps, Upload is between 15-30mbps

  -I'm on a wireless signal, reception of 100%.  Move to a wired connection soon to try this (doubtful).

  -J' forwarded the ports required for XBL according to Support.

  -J' went down the firewall on my router.

  -J' deleted games and reinstalled them.

  -J' deleted my profile player and re-uploaded on XB1 and 360.

  -My NAT type is OPEN.

  -No matter if its on disk or not. I actually bought L4D2 digitally even if I have the drive to try to alleviate the problem

  I'm not there are more things I forgot.  As you can see I have tried almost everything and got no results.  I contacted the support like 5 times and that is why the list is so complete.  It's incredibly frustrating when even people to Xbox support can help me then I'm going to try this as a last ditch.  I'm about to give up compatibility backwards and I have a large catalog of games that I NEVER threw.  Been a member XBL for 11 years in very good condition.

  I hope you guys and girls can help or at least it attracts the attention of young people the tech guys to Xbox.

  Hey, Yes, I find the problem. do not install the update from the apple software. installation of apple.com it won't give you the error when downloading it on their actual location.

  I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-3280 ca and problems with compatibility with Windows 10.

  If your computer is experiencing problems find and install updates of the operating system, try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem.

  If this is not enough, you need to restore the laptop to a previous version of Windows.

  I'm trying to upgrade Windows 7 Pro 64 to 10 Windows. The only problem is that HP Windows 7 video driver is not compatible with Windows 10 so I'm stuck with the default driver Microsoft Lo-Res.

  My laptop has NVIDIA GEForce 9600 M GT graphics processor, so I tried to find a driver on the site Web of NVIDIA. They do not have that a driver for the GEForce 9600 GT, am ' version for laptops. I tried anyway (version 341,74) but it is unstable and my laptop crashes after a few minutes.

  Thanks for your quick response. The W7 driver was already loaded before I did the update W10. During the update, there was a graphic recoverable error (don't remember the exact message) and once finished, I found that the default Microsoft video driver been installed. I tried to install the driver W7 HP but no luck.

  I did some more research on this forum and found the fix on this thread:

  It turns out that NVIDIA has a beta driver that supports the GEForce 9600 M GT processor and up to now it works.

  Try the following steps to disable the compatibility mode.
  a. Locate the launch of Dragon NaturallySpeaking file, right-click on it and click Properties.
  b. click on the Compatibility tab.
  c. in compatibility mode, uncheck the box "run this program in compatibility mode for".
  d. click ok to apply the changes.
  e. check if the problem persists.
