  That means tat that you should try to change the type of encryption; try using WPA instead of WEP.
  This should be replaced on the router and WLan configuration settings
  Check if you can configure using the Atheros WLan WLan configuration tool
  But if you would do this, please don t forget to turn off internal Windows zero config.

  What you need to do is first of all update the WLan driver and if possible, you should check if the latest BIOS is installed too.
  I had similar problem on my A210 and all first I've updated the BIOS, then driver WLan.

  Have you tried using a client such as Intel ProSet utility or Atheros WLan Wlan connectivity tool?

  According to your WLan card I recommend you check out these two tools and try to establish the WiFi connection using one of these programs!

  I have a Qosmio G35, I have no problem connecting to unsecure networks, but whenever I have to enter a WEP key, it says I am connected but when I open internet Explorer, I am unable to view all of the Web sites.

  Sometimes just with the normal message that you get when you have no connection "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". I tried ping the server and that has worked well.

  I put t know what Wlan card you use, but perhaps also a WLan Intel card. So check the site of Intel support for some updates.

  It connects to the internet without problem if I use a cable, but it's not really practical, wifi would be much better.

  Can anyone suggest something to make my laptop use/recognize the WPA2-PSK?

  I talked to Toshiba, very nice chap called Daniel spent 30 minutes on the phone and found a very old and apparently obscure update for me to download. Once this has been done the phone was able to connect to the router WPA2-PSK using WEP. Not too sure exactly what the update does but at least it will now connect to modern wi - fi, even if it is only at 11 Mbit / s. apparently, it's as much as the material can handle!

  Whether you are able to implement security, it is imperative that you plug a cable from a computer to the router. But it's just temporary, unless you have finished all the settings. You can do wireless, but you will have to reconnect again and again to set up the page because you will be disconnected whenever you change a setting. Please see the link below:
