  Let's start first of all, make sure you have software in place just in case you need more later.

  If they are the same exact drivers, it is possible that they have been installed twice, but the biggest problem is how much of usb devices you have connected?

  You can check and see when they have been installed in the properties for each driver.

  I want to monitor a data USB-6259 acquisition using LabVIEW 8.6. However, when you try to create an explicit task (using the DAQ assistant) in order to acquire a signal, I get the message asked supported device found¨. I can see the USB-6259 under ¨Devices and interfaces¨ to the MAX, but when I try to import the configuration data for NOR-DAQmx 8.7.2 in MAX, I get the message ¨Can´t import file configData.nce.  File not found¨. I use NEITHER-DAQmx 8.7.2.  Any suggestions?

• Difficulty to read the instrument of series and acquisition of data simultaneously.

  I have some trouble getting my VI read from my data acquisition and instrument of the series at the same time.  If I run the Subvi simultaneously (i.e. subANG runs in a window and subVEL is running in a second window) both return the correct values and behave as I expect.  However, if I call the Subvi in a society mother VI and try to run them both in the same loop structure subANG gets stuck and won't be reprobed with a signal change.

  I also tried to use a stacked sequence or plate to separate the execution of subVEL and subANG, but I still get no response to subANG.

  The point is is that, if I run Parent.VI in a single window and then creates a copy of subANG (call it '--copy' or other) and run it in a second window, Parent.VI behaves properly and will update the readings as they appear in '--copy '.

  I enclose 3 files.

  (1) subANG.VI - this bed an an inclinometer RS232 signal.  The signal is refreshed every 10ms or more.

  (2) subVEL.VI - this bed raw tension of a channel on the acquisition of data, calculates the average then that converts into a pressure difference and finally a speed based on the pressure and temperature inputs.

  (3) ParentVI.VI - they simply call and displays the Subvi

  My guess is that it's a buffer problem, but I am confused.  Someone out there in Labview Earth knows why this might be happening?  Suggestions welcom.

  It is not an instrument of series.  It is a UEI PowerDAq with their typical A/D and the cable.

  I found away to make it work by placing subANG and subVEL in some time different loops side by side in ParentVI.

• Problems with USB pnp devices series Tecra

  I have a lot of problems to install usb flash drives as pnp devices. It should install automatically as it did on my desktop and other mobile colleagues.

  I am running xp professional and all that happens is the found new hardware wizard appears, and fails to install. I tried to update the BIOS and Chipset with downloads from this site but nothing works. I ran the diagnostics and the usb drivers and features are ok.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Everything you wrote is really mysterious. It will be interesting to know what model Tecra you have exactly, and this occurs when you install the operating system using recovery DVDs delivered.

  I can't really imagine that this issue occurred all of a sudden.

  I do the USB communication between device (Microcontroller) Labview and USB RAW. I did all the things like the raw driver OR USB and I am able to get the 8 bytes using getusbinterrupt.vi, but my application requires continuous data transfer between pc and microcontroller, inorder to achieve that I put continuous loop in the microcontroller, so it transfers the data of continuos on pc, (in this case e.g.0 to 255 and again from 0 to 255 and so on.) , but I'm not able to get increment of 1 as written in my program, instead of that I'm getting increment of 5 to 10... is it because Microcintroller is very fast as my pc? If so how can I get continuous data without breaks...

  Run a quick code continuous mode is completely unnecessary.

  In your code you continiousely who and unregster events, it takes a while, maybe the following will help to improve the code:

• LaserJet 4000 printing error with USB/parallel interface and DATA light on at all TIMES

  Laptop Dell Vostro 3700, Windows 7/32, Laserjet 4000, connected via the USB interface cable / parallel on USB001. Interface drivers and printer installed automatically after starting the update of Windows PC.

  Single document print OK.

  Document of several pages: printer data LED flashes then REMAINS ON permanently. Printed front page sometimes, sometimes not.

  After some time, box status Control Panel/print poster printer fault and a yellow exclamation point appears on the printer icon.

  No possible mistake OK with MS print Fixit. No other printing possible before initialization of the PC and then to new as shown above.

  Same printer connected via a parallel cable that is normal for old PC Windows 2000 print OK.

  SOLUTION FOUND!

  A SOLUTION THAT WORKS: add only DC powered USB hub and connect the printer to one of the ports of the hub-s. Let Windows install the drivers for the USB cable and printer and printing is perfect!

  It is that the laptop USB ports do not have enough current or voltage, especially if some other USB devices are connected to the laptop...

  Please can someone help... I am running Vista Home premium on a Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 series. I ran diagnostics and any other thing, I see... I can get good sound play anything through Media Player... But no Internet Explorer sounds... makes no difference with or without USB speakers. Have upgraded to IE 8 to IE 7 - not make a difference.

  I just encountered this problem but luckily managed to solve it easily. I got guitar pro running playing sound normally and IE wasn't when you run simultaneously. I closed gp and IE worked as usual. I didn't know this before with these two programs, but I would say that if you have this problem try closing unnecessary programs and restart ie.

  I currently lead a unique test by using a pendulum. Currently, there is a rotary potentiometer measures the rotation of the shaft and a force sensor to measure the impact. The Rotary potentiometer and data acquisition work like a charm in SignalExpress but I currently have problems with the force sensor.

  The installation program:

  Sensor Signal conditioner box-->--> DAQ (analog input 1 & corresponding to the ground) by force.

  In Signal Express, when I "Add Step" process - should I choose "Acquire signals--> DAQmx Acquire--> analog input--> [voltage? The force? Custom?]

  Hey Bo,

  First of all, I would recommend that you discover the NI 6533/6534 for NOR-DAQmx help. You may be able to find some of your answers in this help document. Now for what you try to do in your application, it looks like you are only buying data. If this is the case, with the 6534, the device acquires data in memory shipped as soon as the DAQmx series start task VI, as long as you don't start hardware triggers have in place. If you have a trigger of starting material, then will make the purchase of the aircraft after the DAQmx start task VI and only after you receive this material trigger. If you call not the DAQmx Read VI, then the data will be stored in the memory board for you, as the driver manages this data in the on-board memory storage, until reading DAQmx VI is called, which at that time, data is transferred to the Board of Directors in the memory of the computer. Once you get it in the computer's memory, you can do whatever you want with these data, as this graph or treat. If you look at the sample programs (which have been mentioned on how to find those in a previous post), you can find an example that little shows you how it works.   It is simply an assistant DAQ for a card OR. I'm moving my a comptuer with LabView application than with the card = without labview and I prefer not to install labview on both.
