Basic installation DVD with trial on computer

It is basic, but I can't find a clear answer in the forums or the support.

Just bought the CS4 Design Premium for Mac.

I have trial of InDesign, Photoshop, and Flash versions that have expired.

Should I enter my serial number to trial first and then do a custom installation of other applications OR I easy the DVD installation because it will find trial versions and ask me to give the serial numbers?

TIA,

James

Use the uninstaller supplied with each trial.

    About three weeks ago, I bought a new MacBook Pro, disabled Adobe CS 6 on my old MacBook and re-intalled on my new computer portable DVD with success. I used all my Adobe fine until today. Two days ago, I've updated all my creative suite after having received an automatic notification. Photoshop will not launch now (everything else is OK). • Installer Windows missing from my computer Windows Vista Home Basic

    Whenever I try to install a software, a window appears saying that my windows installer is missing on my computer and cannot install the software?  What should I do?

    I had to take my computer to Best Buy for repair.  He got like 200 virus on it.  It took 4 days to clean the virus, tune up and install Windows 7.  They couldn't fix with Windows Vista Home Basic on it because they did not have a disk and I don't have either.  When they have installed Windows 7, who took care of all my problems.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Back up my data with installation DVD

    I want to transfer my data to an external with installation DVD drive because my Mac OS isn't bootable anymore because of the sierra of mac os. So I'll do a new install of snow leopard on my macbook late 2009. Does anyone know how to transfer my data in my external drive across the disc of the DVD Installer prior to installation of Snow Leopard sanitation? Somone told me to do it this way, but I don't know how.

    I recommend strongly against from any attempt of recovery/reinstallation without a valid (and verified) backup on a different disk. As you are still able to boot the system with the installation DVD, you can

    • use Disk Utility on the installation DVD to create a full backup of your internal drive to an external
    • copy /Applications and /Users to an external drive (which should focus on 'all' critical data)

    Then comes to an attempt of resettlement.

    You can restore your data after the installation of the operating system. First make a note of bookmark, password or registration required by your system.

    Perform a full backup with time machine, then restart with your installation dvd, then reinstall the operating system

    When Setup restarts, you can restore your data with the migration wizard.

    When possible, you should do a clean install with 3rd party applications and drivers HW until the migration may or may not be compatible with the older operating system and removes the possibility of corruption of preference.

  • My computer turns off when I try to burn a DVD with Windows DVD Maker__

    My computer turns off if I try to burn a DVD with Windows DVD Maker.  It was working fine and now it will not get past a certain percentage without stop.  What can I do?

    Hello Timbay1,

    Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

    What has changed in your environment, as it was working before and now does not work? Have you installed any new software or updates?
    It can be 3rd party software created a conflict with your codecs and you need to re - register.

    You could check and see if you have compatible Codecs installed in Windows Vista.
    or you can try to use the codec for Vista Codec Pack - pack

    There are other 3rd party codecs but I can't guarantee that they will work with Windows Vista.

    Please answer back with an update.

  • Problem reading Captivate 6 on Vista installation DVD

    I just got my copy of Captivate 6 on a DVD for Windows. I would like to install 6 Captivate on a PC running Windows Vista 64-bit service pack 2.

    My DVD player can not open the installation DVD to start even the installation. Is there a way I can install 6 Captivate on my system?

    PS - I already paid for this copy of Captivate 6.

    Well, it is a mystery. After asking the question, I downloaded and installed the trial version and then used the product code for the version purchased to get a serial number. It worked.

    I also tried on the installation DVD on another computer with Windows 7, and he began to autorun as expected.

    I then returned to my PC Vista, inserted a former Acrobat DVD installation, which began in the autorun as expected. I removed the Acrobat installation DVD and inserted the new Captivate 6 installation DVD, and magically it started autorun this time.

    It must have been my optical drive, but I don't know why he read the DVD this time and not others.  (Never had any error message. The computer just did not read all the data on the disc and was always looking for media to be inserted. "Maybe something is slightly misaligned?)

    In any case, the problem is resolved and the software is installed and registered. Thanks for your reply.

  • The OSX 10.4 installation DVD can be installed on a completely wiped Mac?

    I have an iBook G3, with the type of disc loading slot. At present, it has an operating system installed. I found a DVD of 10.4 Installation on craigslist for very cheap, but I know that this type of disk requires that a previous installation of 10.3 be on the hard disk. I have no idea, and I don't want to buy the DVD to see that it does not work. Here is a picture of the disc:

    Can it be installed on a Mac without any version of Mac OS x on the hard drive, and if not, is there a workaround or modification that I can do to make it work?

    There is a part number on the DVD, so maybe it's a way to know if the DVD 'install' is or

    isn't wall installation or upgrade to OSX earlier. What is visible in the image, it does

    not seem to be an update for version 10.3 Panther. And a gray-label would indicate the disk

    was designed for use with a Mac specific build version only. So far, she poses as an installation DVD full.

    The iBook G3 (white and colors) do not comes with an optical drive to load per slot. Yours is a G4?

    From what I can tell by observing that the Tiger DVD install image you posted, it most of the

    not match a full installation DVD Tiger, that I still have in the official retail box.

    Mine says:

    Mac OS X Tiger includes 2 XCode

    Version 10.4 2Z691-5305-A

    If you have access to the actual DVD, try searching for the item by part number; If it is hidden

    in the picture you posted, so I can't say what I see enough search. And the numbers I do

    See are not among those listed in the database MacTracker which shows all OS X build versions.

    {Something on an installation of Tiger DVD, is the content of the disc is compatible with the capacity of a

    Media single layer; so if you need to, you could make a backup of emergency with the old style drive

    optical drive. {Later versions of OS X have more content and a double-layer disc would be required.}

    Should the cost for the DVD be really cheap and compose a full retail disk, which can be large.

    Install sites such as welovemacs and others who used to deal with the old system of out of stock

    media, sometimes, you can see what they ask if they have a few for sale again.

    This page includes pictures of the media the retail labels more old OS X install original disks:

    http://www.Macworld.com/article/2101301/advice-from-an-Apple-Tech-how-to-get-old - mac-os-x-install - discs.html

    {Even though I have a few original on DVD, the oldest media of retail OS X disks that I have is Jaguar or Puma;

    I have a tiger in the retail box & the image you show looks like an installation-in-all support Mac DVD.}

    Are you sure that your iBook is a white G3, or is this a G4? You say that it is an optical drive slot-loading;

    G3 models all had tray optical drives. I used to own a first white model dualUSB G3

    and no iBook G3 models use an optical drive "slot-loading". It was only the first iBook G4... And I have

    have a last G4 iBook model perfect condition, always close. It comes with 10.4 Tiger gray-label.

  • I don't see my cd/dvd drive in my computer?

    It's about to get the best of me!  I'm trying to fix HP Pavilion dv9700 with processor AMD windows Vista 64bitt wife. When you insert a cd/dvd in the drive it turns, bends and turns off. I do not see the cd/dvd drive in my computer (drive E :). I can see it in Device Manager and device manager says its working properly. I deleted the upper and lower filters in the registry, uninstalled the drive, reinstalled the drive, the drivers updated, physically removed the drive from the computer and check the connector, everything looks ok. Is the drive itself bad? If so, why then I see it in my computer. I ran a few fix his well they say they fixed the drive sucssefully it is still a problem, and it still does not work. I'm not a big fan of Vista OS, less than one become today!

    ================================================================
    Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
    a process that solves the problem.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
    Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
    RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

    Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
    cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

    Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
    Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.
