Battery drains randomly when left to sleep all night

m

Go to settings/battery and see which applications use the energy in the background. You can also go to settings/general/background App refresh and choose which (if any) apps you want to run in the background.

The best answer, however, is to plug the phone into the night, every night. In addition to eliminating any anxiety about the energy used during the night he presents other advantages:

  • All data from one day to the next will use WiFi rather than cell; WiFi is turned off when the phone is in standby to save batteries, unless the phone is plugged.
  • If you enable automatic backup on iTunes or iCloud the phone will create a backup when the phone is in standby, power on and connected to the WiFi.
  • Your phone will be fully charged at the start of each day.

Occasionally, it may restart because something was wrong. It is not a problem unless this happens frequently.

  • Battery Drain on the IPhone 6s tried all what my batterery usually lasts a full 24 hours 6 now even not help

Tried most everything on the IPhone 6s battery drain because I've updated also OS 9.3.2 my battery went from Excellent too horrible will appreciate greatly any help too recti this question

Have what troubleshooting you tried? First, go to settings > farm and see what app is listed as using the highest percentage of your battery. You may have a blocked process that seeks to complete. How is - what report you? Weak signal will also cause a drain in the battery. Troubleshooting user steps include reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory; tests after each stage. If you get all the way to the factory restore, make sure that you have a current backup of the phone and after the restoration, test before adding additional content to the device. This can help to rule out software problems.

  • Battery drain even when the MacBook is stopped

Does anyone know why my now stopped even when Macbook battery drains. I loaded my MacBook to 100% this morning and in the afternoon when I turned it on, I noticed a drop of 2% in the State of the battery. I thought that the device using no power when turned off? Perform a SMC reset and test again:

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Z10 Z10 - battery drains very quickly even in sleep mode

My BlackBerry Z10, model number: STL100-1 v10.3.1.1565 of running operating system is suddenly cause battery drain issues. Earlier it used to happen very often that the battery begins to elapse without reason to a very fast pace, say, 100% to 20% in 2 hours standby.
From last 3-4 days, which happens all the time, I'm charging my Z10 to 100% and the battert runs in an hour or two with the phone gets hot as hell. Seriously, the temperature of the phone rises as it is boiling. It wasn't even a year and I am facing this problem. I was never tired of BlackBerry despite its app support deficiency compared to Android and iOS smartphoned but now I want to throw the phone in the river.

What Android apps you have installed?

Try first, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Look at your device sometime and see how it goes.

  • Droid Razr Wifi battery drain even when off

I just upgraded to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 4 days ago. I noticed that my percentage of remaining battery fell a little too quickly.

In the battery usage screen, I noticed that wifi was consuming 8 to 12% of my battery use. Even if it's OFF, the automatic connect feature wifi was off, and the wifi symbol does not appear on the top bar.

When I activated the wifi, it would normally connect

In graphical battery level screen, the bar under the graph showing the duration of use of wifi, indicates the wifi on almost constantly even if wifi is turned off.

The only time where the wifi bar shows a gap is when, after actually using wifi and I turned it off, it would interrupt its use but only for a few minutes at most before the bar itself turns on.

I have attached a screenshot graphic. Each break in the bar wifi use means that brief or two minutes after turning off wifi before it turns somehow reignite.

Airplane mode seems to be the only way to keep wifi active exhaust the battery out of my phone.

Everyone has similar problems, or have any suggestions?

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Q5 Q5 - battery drains very quickly even in sleep mode

I have been using my Q5 for about 18 months (only SMS, BBM and FB) last week, the battery is fully charged and then within an hour it was drained during a stand by. First issue with reload - normally I go at least three days without charge. Now, a charge not lasted an hour. As a non-removable battery, I can't remove and replace. Any suggestions?

No solution, except to write the phone is off. BlackBerry of bye bye.

  • Satellite battery drain click Mini L9W - B

    Hi all

Since the 1.70 BIOS update I noticed a couple battery draining.
I left the unit with the lid closed for 12 hours and the battery charge has dropped from 20% to 3% only.
I also noticed the two batteries give max 5-6 hours compared to what has been 10 to 12.

If anyone else has noticed this?

    Thank you

I left the unit with the lid closed for 12 hours

Cover does not mean that the unit is turned off completely.
If you turn the power off, you will need to perform a full stop as described in this paper to Toshiba.

  • Battery drain after 9.2.1 update 1-2016

After iPad 9.2.1 update on 20/01/16 battery drains quickly to about 5% of all hours. The last update did the same thing, but we had a fix. Is there a solution for this one yet?

Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

    Good luck!

  • reboot random and battery drain

    Hello

Only two days, back... during the day that it randomly restarts every two minutes and the battery drains too quickly, I bought a new milestone.

While loading but it is not the case... and when the phone fully charged left in the mode "Eve" of the day the next day, 50% got discharged by the morning

Any ideas on how to fix? I'm based in Singapore

Try to find "mylock Auto Unlock for 2.0/2.1" in the Android Market. A facility that seems to help work around what is believed to be a bug in the screen lock code.

my battery drains very quickly even when not in service, what should I do to fix that?

    Hello rabeeha hafeez robi.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that your iPhone battery has been draining more than expected. I use my iPhone all day, so I know how important the battery life can be. Surely, I understand your concern, as much as it seems as if the phone is not in use.

First, I recommend that you check your settings to see what is using your battery life. You can do this by going to settings > battery. In some cases substantive activity of the app may affect the battery life. This means that the battery is used by an application while it is in the background. • Battery drain while sleeping on MacBook Early 2016

I just bought the M3 Core with 512 GB SSD and I love it.  I'm not a graphic designer or a game player.  75% of the time I use Gmail for heavy amount of e-mails and management Word documents or Excel spreadsheets.  Felt as if it was the machine for me.

I have also owned a MacAir 2014.  One thing I LOVED about this machine was when closing the lid and put into sleep, I could go on all night, and many lose any battery at all, or maybe 1-2%.

However, I was surprised to find out that when I close the lid on this device, after about 12 hours, I lose 10-12% I thought was a little unusual.

All this experience at all and found a solution?  I disabled BT so I know it is not that the services in question and the location are turned off except for the ability to use find my Mac, my Mac Air used barely no matter what juice while you sleep.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Thank you

    I turned off BT

Unnecessary, as BT and WiFi are turned off in Sleep Mode.

  • Satellite A500 / 01 K-battery draining all off

    Hi all

I have an A500 / 01 K. Battery average of 8% per whist day, that the computer is turned off. When removed he loses not any charge.
    Clues please?

    See you soon
    GT

    Hi gtpeyote,

In my opinion, 8% are ok and it s not unusual. Someone told me that the battery could be empty all night up to 10%.

It is important that you disable in the BIOS Wake up LAN/keyboard and USB Sleep & Charge. That s all that you can do to improve this value.

  • battery drains while the macbook pro is in sleep

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch, retina.  About 6 months.

Problem: Battery drains about 4%-5% per hour or more, while the computer is in sleep.  Which means that if I go to bed with the 30% battery charge, I'll wake up to a dead computer.

It started to happen about 2 weeks ago.  I already brought to an authorized, who ran the diagnostics.  Initially he failed cooling system test, but he re-greased the sink 'fan', and supposedly he passed all the tests.  But battery still absurdly quickly.

I tried to reset the SMC, by someone on the suggestion of this forum, but didn't seem to help.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Bring it for repair.  Your MBP has a warranty for which you paid the money.  Use the warranty.

    Ciao.

  • Laptop battery drains to 10%/hour when to stop.

    Hello

    I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Y400

    Intel i7-3630QM 2.4 GHz

    8 GB RAM

    1 TB HARD DRIVE

    nVidia Geforce GT 650 M

    64-bit Windows 8

This is the first laptop I have (I've always been using desktop computers) and I first noticed that leave my laptop in standby drain the battery to 10%/hour, so I decided to let him hibernate instead. Same thing happens, the battery drains to 10%/hour, so I try to stop... Same thing happens, battery drains to 10%/hour. So I removed the battery waited several hours, he plugged back in and noticed that he do NOT drain in any significant quantity. All this happens when the laptop is not reloaded also. Any help would be appreciated!

I found a solution to the problem. All I had to do was disable quick start settings in power options. Now, there is no noticeable drain when the laptop is turned off!
