Battery help?

My battery no longer works as well. Where can I order a new battery of? and I'll be able to install it myself, and if so what should I do?

I ordered last week an OWC and it works perfectly.

  • Replacement battery help & advice?

My Razr V3 is 5 years old and the battery is almost completely dead constant charges, requires after the short duration of use.

When I go on line to check on spare batteries, I see prices ranging from $3 à $20, seems yet almost all the comments are so negative and rant on switch products or batteries that don't work, won't hold a charge, etc even if they are packaged and supposed to be Motorola OEM batteries.

Recommendations, advice or businesses to buy to get a 'real drum"which works reasonably well?    My battery is a 3.6V 710 ohm

Given your battery is 2005, I would say you're doing pretty well. How I load and use my phone, I don't think any battery I have that would work long. Sorry that I have not all the recommendations of places other than the MotoStore buy a battery since I could not help you check before hand the date code is on the battery or if it's a Motorola Original and not a knock-off. If you choose another company... I'll make sure that you are well aware of their hand before return policy. Because you don't want an old battery or one that has been sitting on the shelf since 2006.

To perform a search you can search SNN5696 or BR50 and Motorola. Most of the results will be for companies that have got the batteries by various means. So just be careful.

If you chose to go with the MotoStore, you can use THANKS to the Fund to save a little, or perhaps, to get a battery to a load rating of your local T-Mobile store.

My phone was giving me errors about the main battery so I conducted a test of the battery and it was recommended that I replace the main battery. Hello LisaMarieHarvey,

Looks like you need a battery of RTC. The RTC battery part number is 599516-001 and can be ordered from HP.

Your best option is to pop just the battery (instructions in the service manual below the link to page 56) and carry it with you in a place like Radio Shack and just buy a new one.

  • Tecra R850, battery "plugged in, not charging".

    Hello
I'd appreciate some thoughts on the problem.

    The problem:
The battery is not charged. The icon in the status bar indicates that the battery is "connected" but that it is 'not charging' and 'remember to change your battery.
    Something similar to:
    https://BD23.HTTPS.CDN.SoftLayer.NET/80BD23/142.4.51.106/images/consider-replacing-your-battery.PNG
In addition, the battery charge indicator is off

    What happened:
I was using the computer on battery power. During use, the message appeared that the battery is critical 3% and computer suddenly stop (or went to sleep/hibernate). It is possible that the battery was empty, since I was not charged for 2 days. Which was weird, is that I do not have the message that the battery is at 7%, which is normal warning that I get.
The next day, I plugged the computer power cord started. At the start, computer called I want to boot into 'Safe Mode' or 'Normal '. I selected 'Normal '.
Then I noticed the problem described above.

    History:
Nothing in particular. Notebook is less than 2 years old. Battery was at six, now has dropped to about 4 hours, but had no previous problems. No power surge, does not drop the computer, etc...

    Comments:
-L' computer works without battery, only on the power cable.
-L' computer does not react if I put only the battery, without the cable, even if it is said that the battery has 9 percent. (he says there are 3% before the initial stop, however)
-When I plug in the power cable, the battery charge indicator is on for 2-3 seconds (in orange) and then is off. This happens whenever I take the cable out, then in.
-What is strange, is that every time when I disable networks wireless/mobile using "Flash Cards" and restart the computer, they are 'on '. Previously, this situation will only occur when the computer crashed, or I made him stop (holding the power button)
-J' tried what was suggested on the forums of Toshiba:

    * 1
§Remove cable power, battery, clean contacts, put everything back in place
§Leave to load a few hours
-> Indicator battery charge was not on a few hours after the

    * 2
    §Remove battery, start the computer
    §Go to the "Device Manager".
§Uninstall method to control compatible ACPI Microsoft battery
    Computer §restart
    § ACPI Microsoft settle again
    Computer §shutdown
    §Put battery, start the computer
-> No change, still do not charge, indicator is not lit

    * 3
Also have interpreted 'Factory reset '.
§Apres recovery and restart, there is no change
§Cela time, when I turn off the networks wireless/mobile using 'Flash Cards', they remain "off" even when I reboot a computer, which was not the case prior to 'Factory reset '.
§However, if I take the feeder and then place it in (while the computer is turned off) and then start the computer, wireless/mobile networks are once again 'on '.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

On the picture, information is displayed: consider replacing your battery. This means that the battery is defective somehow.

I guess you need the battery help, another tested good original.

I don t Jules Destrooper that there is some sort of problem since you've already tried the factory reset recovery software and computer laptop. Problems of software, this procedure should resolve any software related issues. But it was not.

You have android apps that are running in the background, even when they are closed.

Download the 'Advanced Task Killer Free' of the Amazon app or 1MobileMarket and run it and set it to kill android applications that are running in the background.

Then I would remove 1Mobile market completely.

    Hello

Your language is good enough, don't be sorry

Your Support page is not a listed Intel graphic driver. Your laptop came with 64-bit Windows 8 & I guess you clean installed Windows 7 64 bit, right?

Your laptop has Intel/NVIDIA switchable graphics system. In this case, you can install the Intel graphics driver first & then NVIDIA driver HP supports the page. for example,.

You can try this graphics driver Intel Intel directly. Download, save & install it. Restart the system.

Then download, save & install the NVIDIA graphics driver. Reboot the system after installation of finishing.

Check whether the problem is resolved.

Wow I can't believe that no ONE was able to understand this and help me.

You know what fixed it? A FACTORY RESET of the phone. Whenever there is a major problem with this POS phone, it MUST be factory reset, reset is not only difficult or subscribed battery. Nope. Must be erased and all delivered on all over again. I can re-setup from scratch, as it was taken out of the box.

Once I even had to take to the ATT store because he wouldn't restart itself. He arrives to the main screen after a reboot and then reboot again, again and again and, constantly, nothing didn't stop there. The tech had factory not only reset, but actually wipe it with a format, restore the o/s and to do this through a series of steps followed in this menu on their computer. It is sending the software on the phone formatted on the air to get it reset, so this was not reset by software corrupted at first. It has been freshly on software factory.

And the first time, as time in this thread, when I reset myself by visiting the factory reset function on the phone to do, I set up Motoblur under a different e-mail account, thinking it might be a thing of Motoblur corrupted or she might have gotten recorded on my Motoblur account by accident. But it is not serious. MOTOBLUR is not incorrect data, so just FYI don't think he does.

But in any case this is what fixed the problem. a FACTORY RESET.

  • Security 0176 - the system has been tampered with

The machine is therefore a T40. He had no no password for at least the 2 years ive had it. The main battery was bad and the cmos battery died recently (id assume bad main battery helped along).

After replacing the cmos battery (tested with v-meter and it shows 3.23v) Im getting this error message. When I click ok to goto setup it asks password. But when I hit enter it leaves me without any problems. Its also never done this before the cmos battery is dead.

Under Security, it says disabled lock bios setting. Power and HDD 1 is also disabled.

I thought trying to reset to the default values, but when I Press f9 it does not work. No idea if this key is broken, ive never used.

Info from the BIOS 3.21 (1RETDPWW)

    On-board version 3.04

Someone has ideas of what to try? I know that toshiba has had a similar problem with some models there, but they included a cmos reset jumper on motherboards out there to reset the default settings of the bios.

Ive seen thinkpads with all 0's on the UUID before where were going to the boards, but it contains a correct number.

Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Its an older machine so card mother isn't really a practical value.

Your T40 has a supervisor on that password, that's why you can't reset defaults, etc..

Die the CMOS battery has raised this issue, where the error message.

Use it as not is not that you can do short of permutation of the motherboard.

    Good luck.

  • T400 incredibly slow Windows 7 boot

    Hello

I came across a problem that I can't bring myself to its cause is a mystery to me:

I got OEM Vista Ultimate installed on my T400, which worked well, but since I installed Windows 7 today, the windows startup takes unusually long, make me stuck "starting Windows" screen for about 10 minutes each time. Once it starts, it works OK without hiccups or lag whatsoever.

I have no idea where the root of this problem may be, perhaps this will give you an idea.

I had two T400 lying around, it had taken defective helmet (stuck somewhere, so the computer assumes that the headphones are always connected, so I could not any sound on the speakers.) As the headphone jack is soldered to the motherboard, I needed to replace the mobo) and the other had it bad LCD. So I decided to use the functional components to build a fully functional T400 and sell the other for parts.

    So what I did:

-Exchange of the LCD screens (LCD good + good mobo, bad LCD + bad mobo)

-Exchange processors (because one with defective plug had 2, 53Ghz - anything but the sound was very good! - while the other had only 2, 4 GHz)

-swapped hard drives (as those with defective jack was the computer I used usually, there were W7 installed, while the other had Vista)

I put them together and all in one that has Vista booted up quicky as usual (although as before, his mobo was used with a processor more fast and Windows 7), that now with W7 took forever to start up, which has never happened before. I thought it would be because of the CPU (the BIOS reset or disconnect the battery helped CMOS), if I swapped processors once more (-> back to their original mobos). The defective machine with Vista had no problems turning, but it did not help the machine running W7.

    Here is the mystery:

I swapped hard drives too, so the only change in their original configuration was the display (swapped defective TFT 1280 x 800 for good LED 1440 x 900) and after that two of them were able to start normally.

But once I erased the disc HARD with Vista on it, which worked very well in the machine where the drive of W7 took forever to start and reloaded Windows 7 at this disk, the problem returned.

Now I have two T400s with Windows 7, but rather of takes ages to start.
