• Can't see image Simulator in the Simulator window

  I have the eclipse plugin and when I run an app in the Simulator, simulator window appears and it is empty.  I use the Edit-> copy instant camera and then 'paste' in the painting and the image of the phone rises.  I looked around and I can't find another post with this problem, so any help would be appreciated.

• Combat Flight Simulator Windows 7 - cannot install

  Hi all

  I just combed my 1998 version of the SFC - the one with the mustang on the cover.  I can not install it at all!

  The sepia action aerial shooting appears small turns turquoise ring and that's all.  It hangs then (excuse the pun).

  I tried the road to compatibility - no joy - and diagnosis says "incompatible program.

  If the game is not compatible with windows 7, as suggested by compatibility diagnosis then the only remaining option is to switch to other versions of Combat Flight Simulator, which is compatible with Windows 7.

• Simulator window is reduced in the taskbar, but I can't restore/maximize

  I'm new to the Blackberry development and that you ran right into my first problem. Until today everything worked very well, I created a really basic web application and it load/shows correctly in the Simulator. This morning, I tried to refer to an external dll file in my code by right-clicking the project and selecting Add reference... it seemed to work ok but after trying to display in the browser display the Simulator is more properly, it appears like a window minimized in the taskbar that are not maxmised/restored.

  I tired to remove the link to the external file, I tried to uninstall the webworks & SDK, download and re - install the latest Visual Studio plug-in [vs_plugin_11.exe], but this did not help. I don't really know what to do now.

  Everyone knows about this problem? I would be grateful for any advice.

  I don't know exactly what happpend in your scenario, but I had something similar happen to me.

  By chance have you changed your screen resolution?  What happened to me, it was that the Simulator was actually being run, it was just off-screen.

  The way I fixed it was a click right on the entrance of Simulator in the taskbar and choose "move".  Then I used my arrows on my keyboard to bring the Simulator to the display.

• Windows 8 Hyper-V w / Windows Vista Home comments

  Is there a reason Vista home is not supported from a perspective of integrated services? I should be able to install any OS and have it install as usual, if the operating system is still supported by Microsoft or not. It is the purpose to run virtual machines.

  I'm trying to find a way to resize Adobe Captivate 8 demo and simulation recording window.  I am only able to 'align the window', but what is it.  I want to customize it and increase or decrease the size of window. I couldn't find answers addressing this issue. Can someone help me?  It is currently the appearance of the window:

  

  The complete options must display if you select software Simulation in the new menu. The options you are viewing should only appear in a sensitive project. The dimensions that you get is the default page for a sensitive project size. Maybe change of dimensions of your project page to fit the size you need would do it.

  If the simulation can / must have fixed a size, you can just go with the regular software simulation.

• Flight Simulator Windows administrator privileges

  I recently installed an update of Windows 7 and that the Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 (FS9), who resided and worked perfectly on my system now opens is no longer.

  I am denied access and asked to log in as an administrator. I always had full privileges on my machine and have had no problems with the software until the update flight sim.

  It's very frustrating because there is nothing wrong with the machine or software.

  MS doesn't want people playing versions on disk based hundreds of games due to a security threat.

  I just doubt about installing controller HCK and Studio facility. According to the prerequiesties, HCK controller isn't hypervisor support on Virtual PC or any third party.

  But is it compatible with the R2 2008 or 2012 VM in Hyper-V that was 2008 R2 OS installed?

  This problem has been resolved. As my pc was a new purchase, the issue ended up being that the seller installed windows 8 home edition not pro. As soon as I reinstalled the pro version of windows 8, hyper-v settings appeared.

  Morale... Make sure that you get exactly what you buy.

  on the model of HP pavilion-17 - e054ca I upgraded win8 OEM Pro Win8.1

  I wanted to allow for hyper - v and to prepare the laptop for the clean system image backup

  I followed the steps below

  0 in active Bios virtualization

  1 deleted Norton

  2 installed Avast

  2 uninstalled ebay, neflix and other nonsense to screen Windows Metro

  3 went to Task Manager to see wat processeding are running (wanted to speed up the system)

  3.1 disabled Bluetooth process (should I really it works if I don't plan to use it?)

  4 license option Hyper-V

  system restarted showing that future added applying...

  then the system restarted again to stop forever on a black screen with hp logo

  I boot from the flash and auto repair-> option opportunity recovery disc start advance

  After only 5 minutes system started

  I check term windows and Hyper-V option is not impossible

  What is the true way of Hyper v impossible on hp pavilion model 17-e054ca with Win 8.1 Pro?

• Which player from VMWare for BB10.3 Simulator?

  Hey. I installed Momentics IDE and downloaded the Simulator 10.3 995 (what phone is this?) and the sdk. Now, I'm trying to get the Simulator working. Windows could not open the vmx file so I thought that I needed a VMWare Player that was missing.

  This should be the right VMware Player. In two years, I was never able to get the autodetection of the IP to work. Just read the IP address off the coast of the lower left of the virtual machine (with the operation of the OS simulator) window and enter it manually in the properties of the target BlackBerry.

  I just installed the 4.2.2.161 Simulator device 8320 and can't seem to connect to the network via the browser.  I run the 4.1.4 MDS Simulator.  I have several other simulators installed, and they can all connect fine when I run it.  When I'm trying to here, it is there for awhil, and then it times out with the message "unable to connect to the selected Mobile Data Service. Please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your administrator. »

  I noticed a strange thing is that I do not see the "arrows" flashing at the top right of the screen of the simulated device, and I see no record appears in the MDS Simulator window.

  Managed to get the 4.2.2.161 Simulator (8320) working on the PC with MDS 4.1.4.  The only thing I did was shut down, install the 4.2.2.163 Simulator (8310), try it (it worked), and then re-run the 4.2.2.161 Simulator (8320).  It just started working.  (If all goes well, it blocks everything works again.)

  It does not always work on another PC with MDS 4.1.0 but I guess it's just a matter of MDS version.

  I use the 9800 Simulator.  I copied the code from the BOARD documents and he ran. The code is supposed to create a file on the blackberry file system called newfile.txt.  Because I do not use a real device, I expect this file to be created somewhere on my desktop computer instead.  But the search for my entire system.  Where the file is gone and what's his name?

  In any case, I recommend that you change your Simulator to use a directory of your SD card, and then you will be able to see the files.  Look at the menu of simulation (Windows menu above the Simulator, not the Blackberry menu) for more information.

• invalidate the problem with 9700 (OS 6.0.0) Simulator

  I work with a PaneManagerView, and I extended in order to call the invalidate() protected method.  When I run my program on a physical device, painted correctly screen each pane that I move from one tab to the tab.

  However on the Simulator both flaps and tabs often not repaint, even if I call invalidate.

  Then I discovered this - with the simulator at a time where the screen is bad, because it does not repaint, I cover the window Simulator with another window (such as Notepad).  Can I move the other window, exposing the Simulator window.  Display of the Simulator is now correct.  In other words, the Act of covering and uncovering it forced to repaint.

  Moreover, I also saw problems with the screen, when you simply browse around the Ribbon.  My code does not for the moment, while the problems are clearly in the Simulator.  When I use the PC keyboard to move to the right (for example) sometimes the ribbon icon does not get the highest point.  Move to the right, once again and now the 2 during the last icon highlighted icon gets the highest point.  Clear the display did not update.

  I saw this problem with the Ribbon in the 9650 and 9800 simulators as well as the 9700 Simulator.

  Is there a work around for this bug in simulators?
