  My problem with the BBM Pin code is as follows - a few years ago I had the BlackBerry 9900, and I got a pine BBM assigned to this device. Later, this device was physically destroyed and I started to use BBM on Samsung Galaxy (the same PIN BBM).

  Recently, I purchased BlackBerry Q10 and started using BBM with the same PIN (from BlackBerry 9900). It wasn't a problem, until that I've updated BBM a few days ago and then I noticed that my BBM pin has changed.

  Does anyone know why it happened and what to do with this issue? I mean, finally, I will create a list of contacts with my new BBM PIN code, but there is no guarantee that this change suddenly won't happen again.

  Good question, but so many numbers makes me headache lol just kidding. Unfortunately, this is not how it works. Different way with numbers of mail or telephone in our map. Blackberry PIN is connected with a single device and cannot be moved to another device. Your previous BBM with 123456 contacts are safe and always with you in your new PIN BBM 654321. To your new customers/friends you must inform your PIN or invite them.

  Technology can create something new. You can always tell them your new pin code otherwise you must continue to use your old device.

  I am writing today to ask you about a problem I've been for the last few days to my BBM pin code. About 02:00 on Tuesday 2 October I started having a lot of people add me BBM. I thought that someone their posted on facebook and made a typo, then I ignored for a few hours and just blocked everyone add me. They said that each pin is individual for the device and so I should get a new phone, but they also gave me an email address that did not work to see if you can do something for me. Is it at all possible to get my changed pin code?

  The PIN is unique to each device and is not editable by the user. The unit must be sent for renovation in order to change the pin code.

  The PIN is unique to the device.  No, you cannot migrate pine between devices (if you were somehow able to hack the client to change the axis to the new, you will probably be locked).  It is one of the BlackBerry's built-in security features.  This is to prevent people from cloning devices (ie. make false BlackBerry devices).

  Your BBM contacts are saved in the database BBID.  They are related to your BBID.

  People should use your new pin code or your e-mail address (BBID) for you send an invitation.

  In fact, I suspect that you use the same BB ID and not the same PIN. When the same BB ID is used on multiple devices, results exactly as you describe can happen.

  If you know the other person, you can chat with them and decide which of you will go through the painful process needed to remedy this situation:

  Who's going to do will have to do a complete device WIPE. To prepare, backups are necessary... See the link in my signature on this post to know... you'll need it all. You may also need a list of all your BBM contacts... If you're on BBM7, there is no way to condone those to restore after you are done as they are attached to your BBID, not your BB. If you are on pre-BBM7, then you can save and restore them. Otherwise, it will be a process of re-entry manual.

  Hi guys, today I managed to drop my phone, my screen cracked and that means now I can't type in my PIN code to access my phone. Also means that I can't save all my info before you send the phone for repair or replacement.

  If it's just the touch that does not work, then you can use a USB OTG cable and a USB mouse to take control from the touch

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBM do not change the display picture

  I noticed that when I try to change my display picture that does not actually updated in the network. In other words, people still see my old picture instead of the new. Now, it's happening for multiple users on my BBM. I see people update their profile messages complaining that their isn't changing either.

  I thought it was something related to the carrier, but people who use different carriers have complained about the same. Can you please advise or worsen it?

  The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now and try it with a different one that you have your display picture...

  I guess the moral of the story is, if many people with these problems a bit, just wait a bit. the folks at RIM will be noticed & repair.

So if someone sends me a message by pin code, both phones will receive it because they have been implemented using an email.

  No, each device has it's own specific PIN. You cannot change them.

  You cannot send a pin message to an e-mail address. Yet once the PIN is related to each device.

  Can I keep the same PIN BBM when BB sent an e-mail to the ativate BBM on my iphone?

  What can I do to keep it? I want to stop using my BB 8520. I use it only for bbm.

  Your new device will be assigned a new PIN for BBM.

  Your old PIN 8520 is attributed solely to the 8520 and is not movable.

  You can use your old e-mail address BlackBerryID on the new device.
