  This is an Acerdocument to help you reinstall Windows Vista from the recovery hard disk partition. Through their website, if you are unable to reinstall from the partition, you will need to recover using a disc.

  Please answer these questions to better understand the issue and help you:

  1. You have the disc of windows 7 installation?

  I want to suggest everything first, disconnect any external devices (Cd/DVD, USB key, webcam, memory card reader, etc.), except the mouse and keyboard and try to start.

  Now press Ctrl + Shift + ESC key combination to check if the Task Manager opens.

  If you have the Windows 7 installation disc, try to run the Startup Repair tool once more with the disc.

  If this does not help, get in safe mode with command prompt and use startup recovery tool to repair windows startup problems

• Just updated through the creative application of cloud and now lightroom will not load again.

  As the title suggests:

  I've just updated creative cloud app, run lightroom from the standard m desktop shortcut and got 5.7. You who quit and tried to run the shortcut again. No charge.

  Thought it might do with still some 5.7 installed, uninstalled as well as through cloud creative app and it still don't load. Noticed that the creative application cloud still showed as being installed lightroom (5.7 has disappeared the first uninstall). Choose uninstall again and this time she went from the installation of the application to be an option to install section.

  Installed new version and it will not load.

  Could someone please advise how to solve this problem I would like to be able to access my files and the changes that I made.

• Installed SP2 for Vista now Facebook will not load

  First, hotmail would not work, I have to connect each time www.login.live.com .  I used for any type of www.hotmail.com and would be redirected.  Now it will not redirect, I have to sign in each time.  As mentioned, Facebook does not charge or the other.  I don't see any other update that did these two things stop working, this happened at the same time, then SP2 update.

• Installed Vista Update 1 package and now windows will not start

  I have a laptop Acer Aspire 4520 with a 32-bit system 64 x 2 dual core processor with Windows Vista Home Premium and just installed explorer8 updates Vista I get the package. Installed successfully, took about 45 minutes. Tells me to restart my computer. Click on restart. It restarted with goin' through bunch of # s as the first part 24 390 / 74 280 in growing in order to achieve the final number that it stopped at about 34 761 or something like that for over an hour.  I assumed that it froze. I did a hard closed down and after reboot door top, unable to start Windows.  A recent hardware or software change might be the cause and options to start windows normally or start the reboot system (recommended).  I chose normally, microsoft corporation logo came on screen with progress/cargo in addition to this box, and then it turns off and rebooted itself.  This time I chose the launch startup repair and he went to remove some threads or something and add as 9 things that did not file names.  He said he was doing a CLNDSK?  It was the only time he's done this.   "Cannot start Windows, a recent change in hardware or software could be the cause.

  Just startup repair brings back me to the same page. When I try to start windows normally the loading bar appears and nothing happens.

  I use a computer acer laptop, when starting by pressing ALT f10, you are able to restore the system to factory settings.

  I just posted the same problem, a quick fix that worked for me is to start in safe mode and run a restore system to date before you installed the update. Don't know what to do on the other but the computer is workig for the moment.

  Sounds like something went PEAR somewhere along the line. I would suggest relocation like this:

  • Go to Download Firefox 4.0 and download a fresh install on the desktop file.
  • Then go to add/remove programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, etc., the customizations (don't tick the box).
  • Reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  • Finally, run the downloaded installation file.

  After completing the installation, go to the Plugins check page and those if necessary updated.
