before the safe mode

I thought my computer had a problem with a recently installed program. I started to look around for a fix and stumbled upon the restoration of the system. I went from there by clicking on safe mode. I am now in safe mode and everything is different. The icons on my start page are great and my Web page is out of sorts & incomplete. Long story short - how do I return to where I was before?

You restart the computer to return to normal mode.

While you are in safe mode, your system restore, isn't that why you went to the 1st place.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

See you soon.

    Hello

Things to try (in this order):

    1. set the dpi. Right click on the desktop, choose personalize. The option is in the left column.

    2. set the resolution. Of the above customize menu, select display settings. Adjust the resolution to the right to reduce the scale.

    3. If you can not reduce the resolution enough, it is probably because your display drivers were corrupted and you run a standard VGA driver. Visit the graphics card manufacturer's Web site and download the most recent (non-beta) release and install it, then restart your computer to finish. Hello

Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way? Keep in mind
This associated heat does not always mean too much heat as it is often a part or a component
who is too sensitive to normal levels even heat.

Remove ALL power and reinstall all the memory cards and cables (both ends where possible).
in fact, remove and replace - don't do not just tight. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the

  • Unusable outside the safe mode of Windows 7

Problems with windows OS 7. It will load, but impossible to click and open anything. Even pressing the windows key will not display the start menu and ctrl alt del showed a black screen for a few minutes before an error message says that it cannot complete the action. But it works in safe mode. I rebooted several times, but still no change.

    How can I fix?

Time to get your windows cd drive and start it and reinstall your system.

  • Firefox does not comment based on Facebook on all websites (for example Huffpost): I tried the safe mode, disabling anti-ad... nothing works.

I can get on FB and post. etc., but sites that use them commenting on do not display comments. I've tried safe mode, re - install Firefox: not to go.

It's complicated. There are many links in the chain...

You want to check if Firefox is actually sending a request to Facebook many different servers and receive a normal response? Here's how you can try it.

While watching the HuffPost (or other) page, press Ctrl + Shift + k to open the Web Console in the lower part of the tab along its top edge, click Network. Then reload the page and network monitor should start to fill with dozens of URL in the order that makes Firefox the application.

After he calms down, you can scroll down or click on the header of the column field sort by site and search queries to these areas. They were called in the order in my little test, among a bunch of other things:

For example, if there is no request to connect.facebook.net, then a script blocker or a blocker Tracker can kick in. If there is no request for html pages, then the script could be at fault or another type of block can be considered.

Note: I stay connected on Facebook, so being connected may have some influence on this point that I'm not aware of.

  • Firefox keeps crashing outside the safe mode (reset, uninstall-reinstall and disable all add-ons do not help)

I've actually had this problem for over a year now with previous versions. The browser always crashes just after that I start it, but it seems to work fine in safe mode. I tried to reset the Firefox, disable all add-ons mode security and reinstall the application, but none of these methods does not seem to work. Here's the accident reports I after you have installed the latest version of tonight:

  • three times I've asked for help, I can't open my attachments. I tried the safe mode, without change. Help!

I saw someone ask a similar question. I tried in safe mode, no luck. I have an attachment with a PDF, PPS or LSH. None can be opened. Hitting the room attached, says it is scanning, action can save on my computer, then no further. Where does go and why I can't open it?

You can disable Firefox integration with an attachment security feature Windows. That is not ideal from a safety point of view, but it could solve the problem in the short term so that you find out what is the cause. Check out this recent thread: downloaded files immediately to disappear at the end.

  • Access to the Safe Mode on Windows 8

    Hello

I understand sometimes through troubleshooting or for other reasons, there is a need to access safe mode when using windows 8. What many people do not know is Windows 8 does not use F8 at startup to access the secure mode. It needs to be done inside of Windows 8, himself. The screenshots below will show you how to access safe mode when you use Windows 8.

On the startup screen, click settings:

Then click on change settings for PC:

Click gernal on the left side of the page:

On the right side scroll advanced boot:

The computer then stops, and you want to click on troubleshoot:

    Click on advanced options:

    Click startup parameters:

You will then see a page that lists information, click Restart on the right:

You will then choose which environment you want to connect to:

    (1) open administrator command prompt

    (2) write "bcdedit/set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy" to allow the start of legacy with F8 (don't forget to change the settings after this guide)

    (3) reboot and press F8
