behavior in a single layer operates automatically to any layer

I hate to be a pain, but I'm really learning a lot of following tutorials and this problem is recurring with every tut I try...

I followed this tutorial: [L = http://www.entheosweb.com/Flash/preloader2.asp]

I'm stuck on this (again at least 17 times after verbatum but something is wrong):

Now, return to your bar layer, move the rectangle to the left, as shown below

Go to the 40 frame, keeping the playhead on frame 40, pull the rectangle on the other side, as shown below

My problem is that when I move in the framework, it moves also in the frame of 40... and when I move it to the other side in the frame of 40 and return the frame 1 is no longer in the original position... I can't get my head around that! I use Flash 8 Professional if that's any help!

I'm not, insertion of images and keyframes as the tutorial says...

I FOUND IT! I was so stuck on following the tutorial I didn't there might be a mistake... I don't know if it's just because I have a newer version of flash than what they used for the tutorial, but instead to insert a farm at 40, you must insert a KEYFRAME... so I fixed it myself, but read my post really helped here!
don't want anyone to rub the wrong way with all my stupid questions! :)

  • How to convert the pulse signal line single layer

    Hello

    I tried to create a VI that will allow me to convert a pulse signal (generated by a tachometer) in a line single layer, indicating that a revolution succeeded. I would like to overlay this line on other signals generated.

    I am able to detect the falling edge of the signal, but I could not make a suitable line. I tried to create a new waveform, and juggle the markers, but no method worked for me.

    Does anyone have ideas for a good way to do this?

    Below is my test VI.

    Make the second vertical lines style trace (trace style: no points, no interpolation, fill - inf). a NaN whener you don't want a power cable and a '+ inf' when you want a vertical line.

  • multiple bevel effects on a single layer?

    Hello, I decided to participate in the PSCC, and already, I was really happy to know that there is support for layer on groups in CC effects, but in the latest version there is even support to add multiples of the same type of effects on a layer (for example, "stroke") but not all the effects have this option. I was wondering (and hope!) if it's something that will be in a future update?

    As a more minor feedback, I have also not found a way to remove additional effects: say that I added 4 effects of 'coup' in a single layer, that I have not found a way to remove the extra 3, I have created. It would be really awesome if the whole layer effect function has been more than one function "on demand" where you can freely add/remove as many effects of each type as you want and start with a clean slate "" so to speak.

    In any case it is certainly moving in the right direction for what I use it for.

    Thank you!

    The effects of additional weather elimination:

    You can either click on one of the traits in the layers panel and click the trash downstairs, or

    Double-click the effects above the strokes in the layers panel, select the stroke and click on the trash can in the layer Style dialog box.

  • Is it possible to import a single layer of HAVE (and keep as a vector)?

    I created illustrations using layers - export to After Effects (CS6) for the animation.

    Is it possible to import a single layer to HAVE? Thank you very much!

    When importing and Illustrator document as images instead of a model, you are presented with an option to select the merged layers or choose your layer. I'm a little surprised that you even need to ask.

  • a single layer is exported/rendering

    Hello

    I'm stuck in AE. I tried to export my head of 5 seconds of EI in the quicktime format.

    Whenever I do, I get a single layer (background) as an end result. If a white 5 seconds, basically.

    Which box do I need to check or uncheck? It must be something simple. I can't find in tutorials.

    Thanks, V.

    If you want all of the compositions in a QuickTime, set your render settings to include the whole composition, and not only the work area or do your work area reach your entire publication.

  • Avoid to group all the objects in different layers into a single layer

    When I group objects to different layers, they all end up in single layer... I have a slight memory of what it is possible to the group object without affecting the layers... maybe a setting?

    Vincent,

    Crossposting: I was the addition of the procedure (which I posted accidentally before finishing).

    Here's the Bill:

    But you can create a selection across layers as follows, using the drop down selection:

    Select objects, then > Save selection, selection of a name;

    After that, the choice is displayed at the bottom of the drop-down list selection, available for selection (sorry)

  • Type on a single layer is blocked

    I created a document with three layers. On a single layer, it became apparent that no matter what type, I put on this layer would be caressed, but there was no line not indicated. I don't see that the layer has something unusual about this. But if I put the guy on another layer it seems normal.

    pammm,

    You can have a glance to the aspect with the sick selected layer palette. Maybe there's an added, edge effect applied to the layer.

  • What I lose when the flattening of a single layer?

    Can someone tell me what I lose in fact when I flatten a single layer.

    I have a large (3.4 G .tiff format) image on a single layer.

    I need to print it, but the printing software allows (2G .tiff).

    When I flattened the image, I get a background layer and the size of the image down to (370 MB).

    Now I wonder, have I just lost the picture quality. If so, it is not visible on the screen.

    I won't print to see the effect, if I can help it. Large print would be very expensive.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    If all your information were on a single layer, you don't lose any info. If you had a transparency on this single layer, then Yes, you lost the ability to edit using this transparency, but you don't lose any quality.

  • How to flatten a single layer in photosop by using a script (js reference)?

    I see a lot of script using activeDocument.flatten () but I need to know hot to flatten a single layer

    activeDocument.layers [3] for example.

    Thanks in advance

    I'm usign cc2014 ps by the way

    Hi Matias,

    you're right - the layer names are not unique. Here is a version using the ID of the layer:

    function rasterizeLayerByID (id) {
      var s = function(str) { return app.stringIDToTypeID(str) }
      var d = new ActionDescriptor();
      var r = new ActionReference();
      r.putIdentifier(s('layer'), id);
      d.putReference(s('target'), r);
      executeAction(s('rasterizeLayer'), d, DialogModes.NO);
    }

    (Both id and name) should work with smart and other objects.

    Best,

    Davide

  • Apply the feather to a single layer

    Hello

    I am created an announcement of both parties.  One of the two parties (on two different layers) has a background image I want only the center appears and the rest I would bleach (about 90% opacity, leaving 10% of the visible background image) using feathering, as described in the pen in Photoshop with quick mask Selections

    So, does anyone know how to apply these feathers on a single layer?

    Thank you!

    -Ron

    Create a layer mask and apply the pen in the properties panel.

    Could you please post a screenshot with the Panel visible layers?

  • Script: A single layer to set the opacity of the other layers?

    Hello

    I have a lot of layers in my computer whose name begins with "POINTER_".

    I need these layers to falter at the same time.

    But I can't the subcomp or use stencil alpha.

    I don't know that it is possible to make a script on an adjustment layer that would do just that.

    All he needs to do is to allow me to make keyframes this adjustment layer opacity associated then with the opacity of each layer starting by 'POINTER_ '.

    I'm not a guy of script, so it would be great if someone could show me how to do this.

    Thank you very much!

    see you soon,

    Chris

    You don't need a script to do this; you need an expression.

    You can easily bind properties between layers with expressions. In this case, you apply an effect cursor Expression to your layer zero (or just use the property opacity of an adjustment layer). ALT-click on the opacity for one of your layers property then use the pick whip to choose cursor effect or the property opacity of your layer of control. Now, when you change the value of a single layer, the others follow. You can copy and paste the expression resulting from your icon from selection for the other layers. (You can even choose to copy expression only and then paste that to the rest of the layers).

  • Is there a button that removes all colors fill in a single layer?

    I was wondering if there was a quick way to remove all fill colors in a single layer, which leaves only the contour lines. This is for Illustrator CS5. Thank you

    How about clicking on the layer in the layers palette to select the entire document in it, then activate/selection of the fill box in the Toolbox and clicking None?

  • Export only a single layer as an image without hiding the other layers?

    I know I can just do a single visible layer, and then save PNG, for example . But my question is: I have to do all the other layers in order to save invisibile only my one layer as image? Or is there a way to record only a single layer (or a few at a time) without hiding the rest of them?

    If you have Photoshop CC, you can use the new Adobe generator to export single layers without worrying about the other layer visibility.

    If you do not have CC or you do not use the generator, you must either turn off layers or fooled into a new document. Photoshop itself cannot save a single layer in a document of several layer.
