Bender the 10.11

Anyone used Bender to save 10,11 settings of the server (server 5.1)?  I run it on our old server (10.6) and their website says that it works ith 10.10, but no mention of El Cap.

Thank you

I've been running it 10.11.4 and the latest version of the server without problems. Certainly, it is a very small installation on a dozen users. Corrupt OD a few weeks ago and the restoration of Bender back me up and running in a snap.

  • Is it still possible to bend the straight line by dragging in CS6?

I was watching a tutorial on the tool pen to see if it was possible and found this:

Otherwise, click and drag to halfway along a path to manipulate as a curve.

You will need a plugin to do this to the CS6.

For example, try VectorScribe or XtreamPath

  • U300s: The cover is bending...

Just got a new U300s and love it! The only thing I wonder about is the bending of the coverage. Everyone finds that, when the laptop is closed at the front near the lenovo logo aluminum easily flexes inward? Often times I'm going to pick it up and it flexes.

I'm afraid that this may cause display problems down the line

    Thank you very much!

Note from Moderator: Edition subject to the content of the game.

    jeepin06,

I tried a U300s in the lab today and I don't see what you mean - with the lid closed, you can bend the top of the lid in the front right corner where the logo is and towards the center of the LCD screen.  The rest of the cover appears to be relatively very solid.

But when the cover is open, I am unable to create no hangup of the LCD screen to produce a round surface distortion corresponding to my finger, unless I'm also favorable at the edge of the LCD screen to prevent it from moving.  In other words, if I squeeze the Assembly with a reasonable amount of force, I can see an area in front of my finger, however the amount force seems much longer we would be reasonable applies opening or closing the system.  I see no effect on the LCD screen while opening / closing.

Ultrabooks are deliberately thin and light.  Maybe the cover could be made thicker to eliminate, but probably the weight penalty or thickness which deprive it a little point of the design.  Maybe some filling material can be added to fill that space in the lid and make feel stiffer?

I don't see this as a problem, but certainly a fair comment and something that could affect the perception of how robust is the design.   No doubt appreciate your comments - will share with the team of the ultrabook.

  • The tracks window moving flex time marker move

LPX 10.2.4, running I have the main window showing my pieces and, below, the editor, which I currently use for set Flex time markers.

For some reason, in the last 15 minutes he began to behave differently in a way that has seriously slowed down my work: whenever I changed the position of the marker Flex - either through each dragging methods, either via Undo/Redo - the following two things were different from the usual behavior:

    • the waveform in the window of the tracks do not have a 'ghost' wave form which moved to reflect my drag in the editor, I did not see how the edit line non-sinusoidales wave the other tracks
    • the window of the tracks jumped at the beginning of the partition. He didn't budge from the read head, so pressing space twice more quickly got the rear window of the playhead near where I just changed, but it was confusing.

This has solved the problem of the window mobile tracks:

    • clicking outside the audio region in the window tracks, to deselect the selected region
    • clicking New in this region to reselect it

However, I still don't see the ghost waveform by dragging and I have no idea what was causing the odd behaviour.

If you have any ideas of what could happen, please let me know.

Sometimes, when the arrange window accurately displays the changes that I made to flex markers in the editing window I change flexible to bend the ground, then again for repeatedly bending and which allows a refresh of the region and flex markers and corrects the flex display in the region.

  • My iPhone does not load unless the cable is placed just to the right and the phone is still completely. Advice?

Hey everybody. Since a few days, I have had a hard time charging my iPhone. It all started when my phone onto my computer. He suddenly began to vibrate, and the charging symbol flickered on and outside. Since then, I had to mess with the power cord plugged into the phone until it starts to load. Once it starts to load and remains always completely, is perfectly fresh. The problem is that I do a lot of work and outdoor recreation such as hiking, and I need to charge my phone on the road sometimes. But once I'm start moving the phone around, it does not load until I have reposition it. My phone had not been dropped, smashed, splashed with water, or something serious in several days or even several weeks before acting. This could be a software problem? I cleaned the inside of the charge socket and the charge lead works fine with other devices. I also restored the phone to factory settings and then restore a backup. Any advice would be appreciated.

Clean the hole of the support and review it with a bright light. You must get it squeaky clean and without bending the rather delicate pins. And make sure that the bent pins.

  • Simultaneous use of flex pitch and the "timing" on the same region?

Is it possible to edit a region in 10 with the two flex pitch logic and timing? When I toggle between modes, I get a message that informs me that pitch adjustments will be suspended. If I put the pitch of the notes to something way off - to check it out - it seems that as soon as I switch to flex pitch in calendar mode, pitch adjustments are ignored. Is it possible to have both at the same time? Workaround is bounce calendar settings in place then the correct pitch. Is this the best way? The only way? Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. -John

IF you use flexible hours first then flex pitch your flexible hourly landmarks remain intact. In pitch flex mode you can select to the end of a note and drag to the right or left and upwards or downwards. So you can bend the pitch and flexible at the same time, but only when there is an event of note.

  • How to make a slideshow of pictures at the end of the slide to end?

Sounds like a no-brainer, but I can't bend the Photos to my will.

I have created a slideshow project and set it to my chosen iTunes song. Now, regardless whether I set the duration to 'adjust music' or I play with the custom settings, instead of ending with the screen showing my last slide, he returns to the first slide! What is with that. I want the music of late and the last slide to linger on the screen as the "grand final", but he finishes the show then springs back in the beginning title slide! Maddening.

Thanks for your help, oh people of genius!

You have this selected button (it is blue, if activated)?

If so click again it is black and try again.

  • DV7t-1285DX - 3 speakers, only 2 work (channel right, left on via the subwoofer)

So, I recently bought a DV7t, and although I love the machine I'm having a problem with the speakers. Windows Vista Ultimate 64 is only detected two speakers of any drivers that I use (including the latest IDT). I get right channel sound through the right speaker, left channel sound through subwoofer and no sound at all through the left speaker. I tried different drivers and that you have, so far no joy.

OK, so I've bitten the bullet and disassembled my laptop today. As I was putting it back together, I realized that one of the pins of the speaker jack (male receiver, on the motherboard) has carefully folded upward. I carefully folded it back into place, has put everything back together and now all the work of three channels! While this could be the problem in every case, it fixed the problem for me. If you try it yourself, be very careful when you try to bend the PIN in place, they break off easily and unexpectedly, and if you break you it turned for good. Good luck.

  • Portege M200 - connection loose in the power cord

    Hello

After almost 5 years of intensive use (this is the 3rd battery which is currently begging for replacement...) my M200 still works fine - great device!

However, the power cord has a bad connection for a few weeks now. The problem is located next to the DC plug. So, whenever I connect the M200 to food, I need to turn and bend the cable in order to reactivate the charge current. Friend of mine, a 2004 purchased another M200, exactly the same problem.

Problem: The power cord is fixed on the transformer, and a new Toshiba 15V power is quite expensive (if you manage to find one, anyway...). Is there a solution to fix the cable (or get a replacement cable / repair kit) rather than buy a new power supply?

    Thank you!

    Florian

    Hi mate,

AFAIK there is no repair kit for this problem. You must buy a new Toshiba AC/DC adapter because a cable can t be repaired.

I know it's so cheap, but maybe you can get another compatible adapter AC/DC to an authorized service provider. Many AC adapters are compatible to different notebooks, so maybe a cheaper is available.

Here you can search for an ASP to give them a call:

    Hello

Don t be not shy, just try it. You must use force. A little tip: when you put the lever in the slot, then bend the clips a LITTLE outside the module can easily break into the slot.

Trust me, try it as I suggested you and it will work.

  • I plug my headphones, however the speakers continue to play the audio.

I am aware that there are a lot of posts on this topic, but none of the solutions I've found seems to solve my problem. I use a laptop to Windows 8 64-bit HP Pavilion g6 and have had since August 2013. For a long time, I used my white JVC headphones to receive audio until they broke up. I got a new pair, and everything worked fine until a couple of weeks. I plugged my headphones as I would normally, in opening of Youtube for a video when my friend told me that he could hear the audio. I turned the volume down, thinking that maybe it was loud but he still complained of the noise. The only way I can seem to get the audio to play just for the headphones is type of bend the wire near where it connects to the laptop, and even then he plays that left, through the right channel is quite dead. I'm sure that's not the headphones, as I have tried 2 other pairs. In addition, those that I currently use and my other DO not work with my phone and iPod. I know that the answer is simple to fix but I'm not young anymore, and so my guardian refuses to pay a lot of money for what could be the cause of the problem (e.g. motherboard) repaired. If you know something pelase tell me but please not irritated if I don't understand, I don't much understand computer language ^-^' help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi xneonheartz. It looks like a problem of physics with the port. Because you do want to repair the unit, the least expensive option I can think of might be able to look into USB headphones. I hope this helps.

  • Spectrum XT: Spectrum XT Lines vertical pulse on the screen: the possible inverter failure?

In recent days my screen started showing gray vertical lines for about 2 seconds then return to normal and repeat indefinitely. If I gently bend the Center at the bottom of the screen towards me that it stops for a few moments then again.

I think about a hardware problem: perhaps of the inverter?

Any opinions? Out of warranty BTW.

    Update:

Well, I finally found some time to disassemble the thing. I had the broken hinge on Christmas thing and HP replaced the back cover and this problem started a few weeks later, so I thought it was an unrelated hardware problem or a loose connection problem related.

I took apart today, removed the batteries and then removed from the screen. There was obviously nothing. I reinstalled the display connector and re-installed the batteries and turned back on it. The lines are still there. I made a few adjustments more gently pushing everything back in place and the pulsating lines disappeared. I put everything together back and his works always fine half an hour later.

I guess it was just a loose connector to the previous repair.

  • Key keyboard X200s erupted when put back the keyboard

I have was withdrawal keyboard on my X200s to clean it up a little, because it seemed that something had got stuck in one of the mouse buttons. When I put the keyboard back, I noticed the right ctrl key become loose, and I tried to reattach it. Then I noticed the small metal clips that holds the part of the key had folded, so I could return the key.

A picture to show what I mean: http://i40.tinypic.com/21oq1j7.jpg

Note the upper metal clips on the right key.

Is - fixable? Try to bend the clips at the back is the obvious thing to try first, but I hesitate because they might break or I might damage something on the keyboard while trying to do so. Or should I buy a new keyboard or without right ctrl key?

I encourage you to give Lenovo a call to replace the keyboard (if under warranty). They must be able to redeem 1 free 1.
