Thank you

My favorite is the NetGear RangeMax Next WN311B. It has a PCI interface. Easy install and Setup.

Everything is a matter of choice. I have connected to a Linksys WRT320N router and get a great connection that is de-energized only when the cable router does not provide a signal.

Where you can buy it goes... do a Google or Bing search and find an online retailer.

Best regards

    Hi all

I own a satellite A100-383 PSAARE. I want to upgrade the wifi card, like the one it is installed right now (PRO/Wireless 3945ABG), does not all the speed, the line can achieve (100 MB to the bottom). Anyone know if the map intel 5300 AGN is compatible with my laptop. If not I would appreciate a lot of suggestions.

    Thank you

Don t think that someone can give you an appropriate response since the compatibility depends on the BIOS
If the BIOS would be compatible with the new WLan card, then you can use it for you

The point is that motherboards is able to manage the cards WLan miniPCI module is just plugged the miniPCI slot and its removable
So there is just one question about BIOS support and I m afraid you will need to test this at your peril

    Your Service Manual:

    Manual

See p. 41. You can use these and only these wireless cards:

    Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi adapter and Bluetooth 4.0 adapter 1 × 1 9485GN 3012 (some models only) 655795-001

    Atheros HB125 802.11b/g/n WiFi (some models only) 675794-001 adapter 1 × 1

    Card WiFi Broadcom 4313GN 1 × 1 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 20702 + HS Combo Adapter 657325-001

    Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2230 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth Combo Adapter 670290-001 2 × 2

    RALink RT5390F wireless 802.11b/g/n 1 × 1 670691-001 adapter

It must be a numbered HP part or the BIOS white list allows you to block the system from starting.

None of them are 5 GHz, but the best is the Intel Centrino 2230

  • Power supply for Pavilion 720 a and a GeForce 6200 video card

I bought for a GeForce 6200 card video from Amazon. Only when it happened is because he said that it takes 300 watts or more PSU. My 720 a Pavilion has a HIPRO HP-D2537F3R power supply nominal maximum of 250W.

    My questions are:

-Does really need 300W or she would work on 250W without burning down the House!

-If I had to put in level how do you know which suit the PSU? Can you recommend an and a provider. I saw the useful video on the replacement of the PSU. It seems simple enough.

6200 is a GPU very low power.  It will work fine with the stock power SUPPLY HP block.

No there is no way to upgrade the video card. She is soldered directly to the motherboard. Your motherboard is the highest and best for the dv6-6xxx series, so there is no improvement even if you would swap motherboards. I'm sorry.

  • Pavilion notebook g127ds 17: wifi card

First off im a stupid computer, stupid, I bought a new hp Pavilion that seems too moves slow.i called the internet co, comcast and after 5 different technicians, they are come uo with my laptop has a wireless card which is a 2.4 and for the 150mbps I pay for this needs a 5.0.i don't know how do I know if this is true or the first 4 technicians are stupid because none of them didn't tell that.i me think its bull because I have the laptop connected to an ethernet to the modem, please help

Let's start with the last statement in the post "I have the laptop connected to the modem with an ethernet.  This statement means that you have connected to the local network via a wired connection.  If that's true, then the WiFi has nothing to do with her right now.  You'd be correct also about it being Bull.  Now regarding the WiFi card itself, it is difficult to say with certainty what actually are the specifications on this map.  He is listed as 802.11b/g/n WLAN.  If it is a 2.4 GHz only, there should still be a pretty decent flow at least 54 Mbit/s and possibly 150Mbps.  That is dependent on the Exchange with the router, which should be able to this rate.  What is the model of modem and make.  Cable companies use rarely the most modern and best, at least that they forced to do.

Following is a table for explanation

    802. 11b - 11 Mbit/s (2.4 GHz)
    802. 11A - 54 Mbps (5 GHz)
    802.11 g -54 Mbps (2.4 GHz)
150Mbps 802.11n - 600 Mbps (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) - typical for 600Mbps, 300 Mbps, 450Mbps and maps network accelerates when channels of liaison with some routers
802.11ac - 1300 + Mbps (5 GHz) - high new standard that uses larger channels, QAM and spatial flow for flow more
