  I am a software developer with several years of experience in medicine and other sciences, but now is working on a software project using National Instruments IMAQ customer in .NET and have no prior experience with image processing.  The only I can find the API documentation is a help file with the product intalled.  Then this under did a good job explaining the service inputs and outputs, it is light on the explanation in a real retail functions actually do.  Under .NET (not my favorite but this is what I got), I can get a good summary of the objects and their properties / methods, which is useful.  I see there are a lot of good material in this forum, but what I need right now is good basic documentation.  I also noted a plethora of PDF files in the directory of installation but found nothing there or on ni.com which gives me the level detail fo I need.  When I think that the documentation of the API, I expect something as complete what Sun Microsystems offers with any JDK Java - it seems that the doc API IMAQ assumes a certain level of ease and does not for someone like me come with literally no background outside a lot of math (algebra of vector fortunately!) and science in College courses.

  Am I missing something?  I see that there are many examples of programs and I can get what want from those, I guess, but I do not charge my client for all the time it will take, if there is a more ready fo source information.

  Now, I realize that the field of the treatment of the image is large and it would be difficult to develop a software of this nature without a learning curve.  So I have

  I studied through two web queries image processing and having bought the book 'Digital Image Processing (Gonzalez, wood).

  Specifically, I was put to zero in on what is needed for the task at hand: "blob detection" and "blob tracking movement."  It seems pretty clear to me, some have become familiar with the image processing basic terminology and methodologies that have been developed for tracking, and image recognition of movement IMAQ software can do what it takes.  At this point, I can do basic things with objects presented in .NET.  It is analogous to maybe ask a kid who just the definition of an equilateral triangle to solve differential equations.

  In this case, what I really need is one or more examples of programs that perform functions similar to what I want to do.  Is there any suggestions in this regard?  My research on ni.com revealed evidence of the items of "blob detection" and "blob motion" and I see that these were used for tasks as complex as the particles of follow-up and the counting of blood components.  I don't see and od you expect not to see any object, follow also specific methods than what I need to do - which is in fact quite abstract - and chart the path of the blob more to light to the camera image gained when it moves in real time.

  It's a strange feeling to have been programming for decades, and then enter a field where the customer needs require me to act as a nini who has not done its homework.  But it's the nature of the job.  The pointers will be appreciated.  If I missed something obvious I don't even mind being reprimanded to be unobservant or lazy.

  Have you looked at the manual of the Vision Concept?  (it should be in the form of PDF in the documentation directory, or you can see it here) It has a more detailed description on what our algorithms.

  We also ship many examples for .NET - those of the 2. Functions\Binary analysis file dealing with blob detection and may be useful.

  Can we start a list of errors in the documentation? A couple I picked up so far:

• How to read and write attributes using the API?

  I'm trying attributes of access (read and write) of the following:

  SequenceFile

  Sequence

  The sequence steps

  When you look at the documentation of the API, TestStand, the following functions are available:

  PropertyObject

  Properties

  Attributes (read-only)

  HasAttributes (read-only)

  Methods

  DisplayAttributesDialog

  I tried to use the SetValString and GetValString commands using the reference of the attributes, but it does not seem that the data is stored in the file.

  I can't find the following information in the TestStand API:

  1. Where the attributes are stored in a property object?
  
  
  2. How can we access through the API?

  You must increment the number of changes to the file after that editing the sequence editor (or UI) won't refresh or mark the file, as amended. Use sequenceFile.AsPropertyObjectFile (). IncChangeCount().

  SequenceFile attributes are stored in the SequenceFile.Data, not the object of SequenceFile object. You can change them in the Advanced tab of the properties of the file sequence dialog box.

  I'm trying to convert FDM Scripts scripts that would support FDMEE (using Jython as language) and the FDMEE API. However, when I tried it making I came across a few functions in scripts FDM for which I couldn't find replacement functions in FDMEE API.

  
  

  How a supposed to change functions VB in FDM as farsTableAppend while it is supported in the FDMEE scripts?

  I generated documentation of the API of the FIA FDMEE - APIs.jar (this jar is supposed to have all the API of FDMEE in there I guess) but I don't see alternative for functions such as farsTableAppend, fExpTRx, PstrClientType, VB, but I can see other methods in the documentation for example, getEPMOracleHome() etc... (All these functions that you can view by using eclipse as editor-in-Chief of Dev FDMEE).

  Hello

  1 API map is not 1 to 1. My suggestion is to define what you want to do and then design your solution in jython (using the api or not). So what you're trying to do exactly?

  For example, you need not PstrClientType more (there is no windows client)

  2 AIF - CUSTOM.jar allows you to enter your custom java classes. then you can use it from your jython scripts.

  See the API documentation, it would be difficult to say with certainty. In most cases, it would be more likely to be done in business catalyst in Muse as Muse is not a control code that may be necessary.

  Anyway, it would take a vast knowledge of coding unless the API is simple and very well documented.

  I downloaded it and I am able to open and view the documentation of the api, but I can't apply it.
  
  I use NetbeansLamba8 8 JDK and JRE 8. Inside of netbeans in the region of JavaFX for the JavaDoc, I changed the link oracle with the link in the folder I was using and not luck.

  I have problems to update the part of the payload of a task by using the API of Services of Workflow (10.1.3) using the SOAP protocol. Try to use the setPayloadAsElementmethod, it seems, that the element of the payload is deleted rather than being defined.
  
  The purpose of the payload is constructed as follows:
  
  DocumentBuilder builder is DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance () .newDocumentBuilder ();.

  However, for some reason, it seems that the payload is not set correctly and in time updateTask is called on the TaskService object, payload of the task is not available.   I run the code in a debugger and noticed that the the task object has a field nodeArray, which initially contains an element of payload. After the call to setPayloadAsElement has been run, no element of the payload is present in the field of the nodeArray and the mIsPayloadChanged field has been set to true.
  
  Code is taken almost directly from one [example in the documentation of the API: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28985/oracle/bpel/services/workflow/task/model/TaskType.html#setPayloadAsElement_org_w3c_dom_Element _] and I'm completely lost as what to do differently. Could there be a problem with the way the Document object is built?

  Your code looks ok. However, I use the oracle.bpel.services.common.util.XMLUtil object to generate the document object.

• vAPI documentation for com_vmware_cis_tagging_tag missing in the api Explorer.

  Is there something missing from the API for com_vmware_cis_tagging_tag Explorer?  It seems to be the scriptable object, what do you use for the tag Manager, but I don't see any documentation.  I see the snippet below (from the example of workflow to the list of tags), it has a method. list(), but I don't know what the other properties or methods might be available.

  Actually, I guess I should add that it is really not any documentation on the plugin from vAPI in the api Explorer or in the vRO documentation.  The docs are only very light on the configuration of the plugin and although they list all the types of objects there is no documentation for each of the scriptable objects that I see.  I will have to go to the rest api and browse and see if I can give a certain sense.  It is scriptable only objects that have info

  When you import metamodele vAPI, you should get a bunch of objects script vRO, generated automatically for all the services/structures/enumerations vAPI. Documentation of vAPI is also extracted from metadata of vAPI and attached to these objects of scripts.

  It seems that for some reason API explore has not picked up objects automatically generated scripts. You can try the following:

  (1) restart the vRO service and check again if the scripting objects are displayed in the API Explorer

  (2) If after reboot objects are still not included, try to run some of the flow of the sample which requires vAPI point endpoint to be browsed and selected as input, for example, "list all services of the metamodel. When the workflow is completed, open API Explorer again and check if items are there.
