Big squares that appear on the work after the update today.

After update today, the large white squares are appearing on my work and will not disappear.  I have a PC.  It never happened, but after that I upgraded LR, Bridge, and Photoshop, it happened several times since on many different pieces.  I ended up having to reopen the room and all over again.  Last time I checked him and he saved good with all the changes I had made, I just could not work on the project because these huge white squares were in the way.  Many times this has happened when I tried to zoom to work more closely on a project.

Two suggestions: in Preferences > performance, you can choose to uncheck use Graphics Processor (restart), or if you need the features, click on the Advanced button, uncheck "OpenCL" and set the drawing on Basic Mode.

Pending the verification for the graphics drivers updated for your card. Here is a guide.

Windows OS

Click Start.

On the start menu, click Run.

In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.

The DirectX Diagnostic tool opens. Click the view tab.

On the view tab, information about your graphics card are indicated in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as the way in which a lot of video memory, there.

Once you know the kind of graphics card you have, visit the manufacturer's Web site to download the latest version of the driver. Here are the links to download the drivers from the manufacturers of most common graphics cards:

NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Intel: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/

In rare cases, some PC manufacturers insist that you use their custom drivers, then go to their site, if the GPU drivers above will not install.
