bin/dbstart: ORA-27125 start-up service released

Hello world

I have an ORA-27125-problem and google seems to only offer general solutions to the problem (for example systemctl-bad settings).

I am currently upgrading our data base of development of Oracle Database 11.2.0.4 on Oracle Linux 5.11 x64_86 Oracle database 12.1.0.2 on Oracle Lniux 7.1 x64_86

Everything works fine so far, except for one thing: the database may not start automatically when the operating system starts:

/ opt/oracle/1210/bin/DBSTART: startup of the database 'TB053D0 '.

I get the same issue when I get back "systemctl start dbora.service'.

The server has "only" 2 GB of RAM and I am using 513 hugepages, however, I don't think that this could be a problem due to the fact that the database starts very well at startup 'normally' - I think maybe it's a question systemd /-bad configuration?

The recommendation on by process Memlock does not appear when the database is started manually.

It seems that settings in /etc/security/limits.conf (especially "oracle hard memlock 25165824") are not applied to the environment SystemD uses to run dbstart...

    Sounds like the upgrade to the relational tables of SSP was not implemented when the database has been set up again.

    If you look in the repository and the table CES_PROCESS_DEF you have a column called PROCESSNAME? I think that in 11.1.2.1 table had 4 columns and now have 9

  • Trouble installing the Service Release of Hyperion 9.3.1

    I have 2 questions published towards the end of this long message.

    Currently, in our production environment, we use Hyperion 9.3.1 and specifically, we only use the following components.

    Hyperion Shared Services
    Hyperion Web analysis
    Hyperion workspace

    The backend is Oracle 10 g. Therefore, in order to rebuild the infrastructure of BI in our development environment, I didn't install the following components.

    V11229 - 01.zip (Hyperion, Services shared)
    V11205 - 01.zip (Hyperion Reporting and analysis - customer version)
    V11207 - 01.zip (Hyperion Reporting and Analysis - Services Release)
    V11223 - 01.zip (Hyperion Reporting and analysis - UI Services Release)

    I figured out how install/configure Hyperion Shared Services on our development of Windows 2003 server and am always play with the Web analysis components...

    I intend to install and configure V11207 - 01.zip, followed by V11223 - 01.zip, and then finally I intend to install V11205 - 01.zip

    The installation of V11207 - 01.zip on our development server (Windows 2003 Server), I came across a problem already:

    According to the instructions on page 28-31, of hs_windows_install_reporting & analysis_931.pdf, I need 'Configure Oracle' first, and
    That's what I did:

    1 dedicate a tablespace for Reporting and analysis.
    Open a command window:

    C:\oracle\product\10.2.0Serve\db_1\BIN > set ORACLE_SID = MYORCL0430
    C:\oracle\product\10.2.0Serve\db_1\BIN > sqlplus / as sysdba

    2 create an account Oracle Reporting and analysis.
    In SQLPlus, does the following:

    3. give the user the privileges of the database connection:

    Grant succeeded.

    4. set NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS to TANK.

    Log in to oracle (sqlplus / as sysdba)

    Before making any changes,

    SELECT *.
    Nls_database_parameters shows nls_length_semantics = byte

    Select * from nls_instance_parameters watch nls_length_semantics = byte

    then,

    SQL > ALTER SYSTEM SET NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS = CHAR scope = both;

    Then,
    SQL > shutdown immediate

    SQL > startup

    This will make effective change.
    After the change, I would get

    SELECT *.
    Nls_database_parameters shows nls_length_semantics = byte

    Select * from nls_instance_parameters watch nls_length_semantics = char

    Then, step 5 at the beginning of the Page 31 says:

    "5 set the required environment variable:

    For the Basic Services and the Job factory service - use the system option in Control Panel or the Set command at the Windows command prompt to set the environment variable LIBPATH on the locatoin of oracle client libraries. »

    My FIRST QUESTION is: I do not know how to set it. so, I skipped this step completely.

    Then I started the installation of the software V11207 - 01.zip.

    On page 46, step 8, it says

    "The new default of installatoin path is C:\Hyperion\BIPlus"

    but, during my install, when I got this screen where the first line reads

    "Select Hyperion Home Directory."

    The single line below him editing area had

    C:\Hyperion in it but the single line edit box is grayed and the button 'Browse' in the lower right corner is also gray,.
    which means that I am unable to change the location of the home directory of Hyperion for the C:\Hyperion\BIPlus directory or anything else.

    So, I cancelled and did not proceed to the installation.

    My SECOND QUESTION is: is this normal? If not, what did wrong? This has something to do with my jump of
    'Set the necessary environment variable' step?

    It's normal.

    The 'Home' Hyperion is taken up by Setup if the variable configuration files and/or previous environment are detected. In your case, "C:\Hyperion" is the Hyperion House and filled automatically by the installer and cannot be changed.

    You said that it was a service release, so you should be good to go after a backup of the current installation.

    This is not the right place to ask questions of Informatica. in any case the answer to your question is mentioned below.

    In the UNIX box, navigate to the directory where Informatica is installed. If the profile is configured properly and the environment variables are defined, you can use $INFA_HOME.

    CD $INFA_HOME/Server/tomcat/bin

    In this directory, locate the infaservice.sh script.

    Type Start infaservice.sh and press ENTER.

    It will take a few minutes and all services must be facing up and running including the repository services.

    I am working on AIX 6.1 with Oracle EBS 12.1.1, recently there was a server crash, after which the date has been changed somehow. The unix admins were able to restore the system. After the restoration of the database is up and running, but some of the application services do not start.

    what you can do is to create a script that will be run once your server is restarted.
    in the script, you must follow these steps

    go to the directory: $OWBHOME\owb\rtp\sql
    connect to the repository with sqlplus owner
    start the sql file start_service.sql

  • DSC error: IAK_SHARED failed to start the service

    Hi Tom,

    This means that your installation is corrupted and some components SQL do not settle down with it. I would advise to uninstall completely and then put it back using the installation CD you have. I hope this helps.

    By analyzing the Observer newspaper of events more deeply, I could identify the date on which took place the first concern.     I ran a File Checker sfc/scannow system with my Windows XP Pro SP3 (current version of my system) installation cd. I've been thinking about it since a cd to install Windows XP Pro SP2, but better is worth twice more than once. I also realized a CheckDisk, but these two operations have not changed the problem.

    I have completed all of the tasks (start, replacement dll, see registry, SFC,...) while logged on sessions 'standard user', 'administrator' and even as a 'SYSTEM' (NT Authority), but in none of these configurations, it was possible for me to start this service. If I come to you, is precisely to avoid passing through a repair using the cd which would have made me lose a lot of time.     First of all, the hidserv.dll is not a DLL that can be recorded.  You can try all day long, but it will not be because he is not on the list of DLLs that will be or must be registered.  There is a list, and which is not on it.  (well thought of).

    You have a space left in the key ServiceDLL.  In regedit, it should look like this:

    See the space left?  I don't know how it got that way (perhaps something that was installed for these humans), but I know that if I put a space in front of me and restart my system, HID service not start and give me an error 126 as you describe.  He has no idea about the problem in the log events.

    With space on the left, the specified module really not found because there is no such thing as the path (with the space to the left).

    In your, you can see I have stuff in bold print on the front of the chain: 20.00...  In hexadecimal, is a space and a null value (null value is correct).  You must use regedit to get rid of this leading space (20 hex), and don't forget that, in the settings section, the first character of the value ServiceDLL is the % sign (which is a hexagon of 25).

    You can, of course, just change the string, delete everything that is there, and retype the value if it looks like this without spaces attack/crawling:

    The HID Service will not start if you come to make the changes and try to start the service.  After making your changes, you need to restart, you can check it out, and then start the service HID.
