  I see that F.1B, sp63747 is the most recent available for Windows 8 64 bit for your system.
  
  Uninstall HP support assistant & reinstall it from your product site or HP recovery manager. A kind of missing files listed for a previous BONE appearing may have caused this problem, not sure.
  
  Do not download or install updated BIOS of HP Support assistant, only download it from website of the product.
  Change the alert in HP support assistant "Notify Me" rather than "update", so that it not cause you unnecessary problems updated Automatic

  The newest BIOS available for Aspire 8930 to the Web site of the USA is version 1.20. Apparently, there is a version 1.21 which has Intel VT enabled. I have currently VT turned on in my BIOS v 1.20 with a hack that I found on the Internet, but I prefer to use an official BIOS with no hacks.

• Why my CS6 apps show the need for an update?

  For some reason, in my drop down list creative cloud, my Adobe Photoshop CS6 and my Dreamweaver CS6 show that they must be updated.  I went through and got the error "U44M1P7" and found different solutions.  When I arrived at the Solution #2, I went to try to install the updates manually.  Out of curiosity, I made a command-I on the two applications to see what version I already had - and they are the same version as the last update.  So, in simple terms, the creative cloud app shows the need for an update, but according to the 'latest news', the last update is already installed.  Can someone tell me what could be the problem?  Thanks in advance - Scott

  • Not really necessary, can you please check your task manager, if somehow PS running in the background, also please try to put an end to all the process Adobe running in the background and then open PS and LR both and see if they launch.
  • Also, be sure that your Windows operating system is up-to-date.

  I own a Toshiba Satellite A110-103 (PSABE6) bought in 2006 of the Belgium.
  I have trouble about an upgrade of RAM for this laptop. The laptop was originally a Samsung 512 MB of RAM.
  I tried to upgrade the RAM to its maximum capaity supported 2 GB.
  I bought and installed 2 Kingstone SODIMM 1 GB Value Ram DDR2 PC2 4300 units compatible with the laptop, but

  in the BIOS, I see only 1 GB of RAM.
  I tested each RAM separately and they work very well. The problem is that when I install in my

  locations of the laptop, my BIOS sees no Ram.Instead 2 GB 2 GB, it shows only 1 GB. I updated my BIOS for more later

  version 1.70 (for XP), but the laptop continues to show only 1 GB.

  I tested the RAM separately:
  -inserted only 1 stick in the drive and the pc started ok showing 1 GB of RAM
  -then I inserted the same stick in another location and it also worked well showing 1 GB of RAM
  - then I checked another unit of the RAM in the same way and worked well
  -When I try to put 1 GB of Ram and the old 512 MB RAm the BIOS correctly showed the new value of 1.5 GB
  -i also checked the other 1 GB of ram and the old 512 MB of ram and showed good again in the Bios with the value of 1.5 GB
  - but when I tried to put the 2 ram set units to obtain the BIOS only detected 1 GB 2 GB.

  I think the problem is that the two s of RAM are not compatible, but it is not explained to me because use you two identical modules.

  I have a Satellite P300 (PSPC4A-03P01P)
  Currently 2 hard drives, both are partitioned.
  Disc 1 - C and D
  Disc 2 - F and G
  Current operating system on the C drive is OEM Vista 32-bit HP
  BIOS version is V4.20. 05/01/09

  I want to upgrade the Win - 7 HP 64-bit operating system
  I know that this will require a format the C partition.

  In preparation, I downloaded all the drivers for Win 7 64 bit

  My Questions:

  The BIOS will require the update to support 64-bit?

  If partitions D, F and G are left intact, Win-7 64-bit on the C drive will be able to read?
  Or these partitions will also require formatting?

  There is no relationship between the BIOS and the operating system. Thus, you need not upgrade Bios for Win 64 bit.

  You can install the Os on C: and it will be able to read information on other partitions too.
